I've been a customer of PetSmart for many generations of dogs and cats. I like the store the prices are not cheap but they're better than at other competitors. However THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT IS A HOT MESS. The trainer is great but the administrative part is a mess. I show up nobody had me on the list. Then on graduation day the trainer doesn't show up. They tell me she was sick. I totally understand and I wish her well but nobody bothered to call four people that were enrolled in the plus. Today is Friday and I still don't know if there's going to be a makeup class this week. I called and spoke to a so-called manager and nobody knows anything.

Human Training with Ms.Jane! This lady really knows her stuff. This is by far the very best investment we've made with our dog. We have taken puppy and intermediate training. Looking forward to Advanced! She is very direct and so helpful!

Lacy was horrible to deal with unprofessional and didn’t want to help price match. My family and I never had an issue price matching with other cashiers before. Also witnessed her not trying to help the previous customer before me in line that walked out without purchasing anything because of her. Like she owned the store or something.

A nice store well stocked and wide variety of options for cats and dogs limited for exotic animals but should still have the bare basics. I think it slacking in fish but that's just personal opinion

Highly disappointed in my grooming services today at this location! First , i should’ve known it’ll be a problem when after i booked my appointment the groomer called me immediately and asked me to come earlier bc she felt she wouldn’t have enough time to groom him. Why make the appointment time available if its not truly available? I agreed bc i wanted to be as accommodating as possible. Fast forward, I get to the appointment and we discuss the cut i desired for my dog, which was a low cut but only trim his tail and face hair… i picked my dog up (about 2 hrs later, which usually his appointments take longer) and this is what i see! Literally shaved bald. Even his tail is completely shaved! It’s to the point where i feel he doesn’t even recognize himself, literally his behavior has been different since we got home. Then on top of that she tried to charge EXTRA for de-matting when he was not severely matted like she tried to say after this awful cut nor did she de-mat him , she simply just shaved him bald!!! Also i guess to try to change the subject , she said he was aggressive like literally they can read all of his other grooming reports at their company my dog has never been an aggressive dog or has ever showed any signs of aggression EVER!! Literally this is the worst experience I have ever had. I truly feel Raquel rushed and did the easiest cut for my dog just so she can hurry up and get off. And on top of it all, He doesn’t even smell like he’s been washed!!

Had my girl Shyloh groomed and the works done. She was so happy when I picked her up. I wsnt to thank the dog grooming staff. You guys are great and rrally csre for the animals. She looks and feels 😍 great 👍 thanks again!!

Big, clean, lots of variety of brand options on food, toys, and accessories. Watched trainers actively dog training throughout the store. That was interesting and cool.

The employees at this Petsmart are always helpful. I took my granddaughter to get a Betta fish. We left there with everything we needed to set up the tank and instructions on how to clean it. We also got fish food, a live plant to put in the tank along with rocks for the bottom.

Either your system is extremely old and needs to be updated or I came across two of the laziest employees you have. Had a receipt and an item number in hand, trying to re-purchase the same food and was told they could not look up based off of an item number what I had previously purchased in their system. Just wanted to see what food it was I had bought months ago and they could not help.

I hate the groomers at this location. Our vet was booked this week and we needed our dogs nailed trimmed. Their website said walkin friendly but the women at the front couldn’t care less. It literally seemed like we ruined her day by walking in. She didn’t give her name, but she was sitting at the front of the groomers counter at about 5:45. She was rude and impatient with our puppy and our other dog who has anxiety. And their nails are BOTCHED. It literally looks like I took them to the butcher to have their nails cut. And our puppy is barley six months old but they still charged full price (puppies are only $6) and when I asked about the difference in price, she said that our puppy was ‘past the cut off’. Like, what?? What puppy over six months old isn’t a puppy anymore? Never coming here again.

Most of the groomers are not happy people. Everytime I walk into the groomer everyone just looks and stares and not offer any help. Your not greeted professionally until they are good and ready to say hello. Ask for Hillary or pick Hillary as your groomer and get the best service possible......

I was excited to find the xlarge dog pads! They are usually out of stock. Also I felt sad for the cashier it seems they were having technical problems with one of the main registers.. Two clients were behind me onenhad one item and the other got in line as the register in grooming was technically out of commission. I will however be back!

This is the WORST petsmart in the area and that in itself is quite the feat. The staff here are always disinterested, unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling to do their work. I came in to buy a bird and they kept asking me questions about my situation. Mind you I am a grown person not under 18, the bird in question was a finch that I would be adding to my aviary and I already explained to them I have other birds . I had to repeat myself and when I told them staff member that him asking me all these questions and making me wait to sign the paperwork is ridiculous he replied by saying “ we are just making sure”. Making sure what? I told you I own birds and I am purchasing one. This just don’t seem interested in working or making a sale at all especially the girl who works with the birds she is a HORRIBLE assistant. Hard pass on this one never had such absurd experience trying to buy a pet finch anywhere else.

I’m not one to leave a negative reviews about places or people, but Victoria T. (groomer) is was rude to both me and my wife today. They quoted us at ~3 hours, it ended up taking six, which we were fine with, but they problem is that they never take the dogs out for a potty break for 6 hours. And when we asked about it she said “they can go in the kennel”. She also said “we’re not a daycare facility” when I asked about no potty break. Overall, customer service was bad, lady behind the desk had AirPods in the entire time we went to pick him up, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone bringing their dog there. Especially if Victoria T. is the one grooming it.

Really loved the groomers! Took my new puppy to peak in to see what it was like. They had about 4 to 5 groomers and they all were sweet just meeting my 4month old rescue! Will be checking them out when it's time to groom!

Left the doggoes for a few days. Overall no issues, I just couldn’t figure for the life of me why someone didn’t help the poor girl getting them out when I arrived. She was in the playroom with a bunch of dogs and she had to move the plastic gate they use to block the cleaning supplies in order to make an area by the door to cordon off my pups. She was struggling the whole time, and other dogs slipped behind the gate. In the distance I thought I saw a manager in the next room behind, but no help came. The only issue I see here is that employees need to work together better.

Grooming:Let me start by saying this is a LONG REVIEW I know.Very disappointed, I’ve taken my dog this location 4 times for a bath and grooming I’ve paid for the express service (which is more money) and it means they don’t crate your dog and takes up to 45-1 hour. the groomer Victoria has always done a good job and taken great care of my dog. I called today to make a appointment for this weekend, groomer (told me her name very quick) stated they don’t offer “express services during the weekend” due to the fact they are very busy. Provided my cell # and was not able to locate my account, in the past I’ve been found without a problem. Made no sense so I spoke with a manager called Tiffany and she seemed not to even understand what she was telling me, they don’t offer express because they are very busy and they could only offer me a regular appointment which (blocks off 3-4 hours off their schedule, and pays less) and cannot block off the schedule and put my dog down for a express service (45-1hr and pays MORE) saying non sense how express service is meant for a more quiet environment? Usually preferred for dogs older like 12 years old? My dog is 2 YEARS OLD. To my understanding express service was a fast in and out of the store, that’s why they charge so much to upgrade. This is very strange. I’m having to fight over them allowing express services when In reality I am paying more $$ and they are making more $$ and getting my dog in and out + allowing them to take in more dogs since they aren’t blocking off 3-4 hrs. disappointed because i had found a good groomer for my dog, I am now taking my services to the Plano location since they offer express services on The Weekend’s!Avoid coming here total JOKE!

I just wanted to quickly share my experience at this particular Petsmart location. I booked the grooming with Abby for the 2nd time today for my Pomeranian mix Peanut. She did amazing job the first time but my oh my she did her wonders again. From my past experiences with Petco and Petsmart, I was not so happy not that they were not good or professional but somethings were not cut evenly and you know just something there. The other staffs here are very nice even the register person with bright smile and cute hair. I am a little afraid that Abby is going to be booked out but she definitely deserves a shoutout from me and my husband. Thank you Abby!
