We love going to this location for all of our chicken feed needs! The staff is always amazing. Shelby, at the front desk, is especially nice! They always carry our stuff out to the car and load it up for us. They have competitive pricing as well! Our most recent trip ended with us taking home 6 new baby chicks!

Would not recommend — just opened 3 horse feed bags that were full of bugs. They won’t exchange or give me my money back. It was expensive feed! Apparently there is new management — well they lost my business and the business of my friends.

The lady that helped me had it together.She could explain what breed the birds were and knew their history. And she was good at explaining what kind of feed was best depending on what the chick's were being raised for. I will do business with them again.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable, got 2 chicks at first and stater food, feeder, waterer.They took time to explain us how to take care of them and called us when they had new chicks and we got 6 more. Grand kids Sebastian and Abigail had a blast during our visit!

Then when my husband arrived, she put the order together for him, and gave him the instructions on how to use the products.I am new to this area, but I will definitely be coming back for future purchases.

i have been shopping here for years and gotten my chickens here, too. they are the best. nice local home town feel and they are so helpfull. and they have the sweetest cat ever as a mascot. they have fast friendly service and are happy to get you loaded and on your way in a jiffy

Always shop here first!! I do! I want to Support that small town feel by stopping by and shopping here before I go to any of the other chain stores. The people here are polite. The entire staff are very Attentive, Respectful and speak to you in depth without rushing ya out the door even when they are busy. Great place to shop every time!

Wonderful customer service! They have a lot of dog food options and helped me figure out a good one for my two great Danes. My kids loved playing with their cute store animals. They had lots of chicks for sale and even sell fresh eggs! A++

They only had two people running the entire feed shop and that resulted in a very long wait to get what we needed. The man that got our uhaul truck from the back profusely apologized for the amount of time he took and made sure that I was served and the woman up front was very sweet and made conversation while I waited. Those two were great, but with the amount of business they get (at least during my visit), the owner should consider having at least one other person on staff during high traffic times. It was also extremely messy, I don’t have high expectations from feed stores on cleanliness, but this was over the top, probably because they were understaffed, though.

The service here is great, the people are very friendly, and give great advice. I love that you can buy chicks year around! The store could use a bit more organizing and clean up, but lets face it, its a feed store.

Down graded from previous 5-Star rating!On my most recent visit, the store absolutely reeked. The oder was that of an uncleaned kennel. Very offensive even to a rancher used to animal smells.Worse yet is that I was ignored by the clerk on duty while she continued a personal conversation with another lady. I maintained a respectful distance away while I waited for the conversation to conclude and to be recognized by the clerk. After several minutes, it was apparent that neither was going to happen soon.This is not only very poor customer service, but rude as well. To make it even more shameful is to realize that it hasn't always been this way.On several earlier visits I found the staff to be both knowledgeable and helpful as well as courteous.You can't be a 5-Star business when it suits you one day and ignore customers the next day. CONSISTENCY is the key.I doubt that this rating will ever go back up, since after my recent experience, I don't expect to return.

This store and the staff are amazing! They have pretty much everything I need or could possibly need for my elderly horses. The staff works really hard to make sure everyone gets the things they need in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend this place!

Great store! They carry the best quality feed and hay, and useful supplies at a good price. Great people. Went here regularly until I had to move, hope to move back soon. Haven't found a store that could hope to compare out here.

Always very pleased with the quality of everything I purchase here....from feed to the round bales for my horses. The hay is a little more costly than some closer to home for me, but the quality is apparent and I'm willing to pay a little extra for that. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Can't go wrong coming here.

Gilbert and his guys at Hill Country Feed really made me feel welcome and was very informative about products they carry. He really went out of his way to help us better understand the difference in all the dog foods.ALSO helped me with a U Haul I got a truck same day and he was very good about keeping in touch with me and letting me know when the truck was ready and made moving for me super easy! Besides having to move everything I would do this again!LOVE THIS PLACE!Thanks

The friendliest and most helpful people work here. HCF&S should charge money to train the big box stores on what customer service really means. Plus, their prices for dog food are better then even the big online suppliers, and while it being some top level kibble.

There's no other game in town if you are looking to buy feed and supplies. Everyone there is knowledgeable, courteous and downright happy to help you find the right stuff. Have been going to them for 6 years and will continue to support their store far into the future.

This is a great little county feed store..step back in time with old fashioned customer sevice and most of the things you'd need to manage the farm.Feed,fowl,tack and tow. Yes.. they have Uhaul.They'll set you up with the right one at the right price. Its a bit dusty ...but they have a store kitty!

This is a old fashion feed store in the middle of Leander. They have feed for almost any critter you have running around as well as hay and supplements. I you want yard birds they have a variety chicks as well along with coops and other poultry odds and ends.

A lot smaller than Georgetown Feed Store.Not all the same products or vendors.Only a few supplies.But, they do carry Triple Crown Timothy Cubes which I need for my rescue equines.I do not feed them grain anymore.Just cubes and needed suppliments.Hopefully once the dust settles from the other store closing its doors this store will better meet my needs.It is far from my house, therefore I hope they fill in their shelves with items I use regularly.The employees were kind, very helpful and accommodating.I will be back for cubes, at least.
