Unsatisfactory Weapons Suppressor Buying ExperienceI bought a suppressor from the Gun shop. It’s a rather involved process requiring special government applications. The entire process, from application to suppressor pickup was disappointing. When I went to pickup the suppressor I was handed the closed box “here you go”. Didn’t offer to show me what I had purchased. I opened the box and asked a few basic questions. To sum up the help I got was “I don’t know…” there was no offer to research anything, they just told me to call the Silencer Shop.I was the only one in the shop, as far as I could tell they weren’t đoing anything. Certainly not too busy to at least “act” like they were interested.I had heard the government was taking up to a year to approve suppressors. They took only a week for mine! Five Star review for the ATF! But it took the gun shop over 2 months to submit the electronic form! As I was leaving they told me I was lucky it only took 2.5 months to get my suppressor…But if the gun shop was as efficient as the government I would have my suppressor in 2 weeks!I would recommend if anyone is in the market for a suppressor use another gun shop, there are several in the general area.

Recently went to Hoffy’s to shop for and hopefully purchase a new bow. I had been told by several local Bowhunters this was the place to go. I drove the 35 minutes and couldn’t be happier! The staff was great. Very knowledgeable and patient. Never gave me that “trying to make a sale” feeling.Once I chose my bow, they gave me options on accessories instead of trying to sell the highest priced items. I definitely will be doing all archery related business here.

Poor customer service. I drove from Austin and, told them I was new to bows and ready to start this new adventure. Once they heard that, they told me I needed to make a purchase before they can assist me. I asked about trying out different bows before I make a purchase and was informed that the process takes to long. From there everything else bow related was vaguely described with a poor attitude. You'd think a customer who has already sold them self to the idea would be helped with ease but, I was incorrect. If you're new to Bows and are interested in learning more. I suggest saving your time, gas and, money for a business that is willing to put in the work for a beginner.

Made the drive out to Hoffy’s after talking with Aaron over the phone and scheduling an apt. Man was I impressed and glad I did. Aaron took the time (3 hours) to retune and completely start over on a bow that I had picked up elsewhere. He is thorough and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing and why he’s doing it which is something I value. He even gave me a few pointers on technique and helped me identify problems I wasn’t thinking of. All in all, I walked out with a fine tuned bow and a much better archer without breaking the bank. I’ve been to a few other shops around and none of them came close to the experience I had here. 10/10 would recommend.

I’d like to tell everyone about the excellent experience I had at Hoffy’s archery.I had been to a number of bow shops and the experience was the same. As soon as they realized I was a beginner that was looking to buy high end equipment, they started attempting to up sell me.At Hoffy’s the experience was completely different. Aaron helped me and acted as a consummate professional guiding me to ensure I’d buy equipment that was perfect for me. He took plenty of time to give this beginner instructions and tips to get me started on the right path. It was very clear that he had my best interest as his priority, making a sale wasn’t his objective. Nice and very helpful employees. Really clean store and good layout. Their pricing was half average and half ridiculous. But a wide variety of good products for home, farm, hunting, gifts, etc.

I bought several round bales from them last season. As i used it , I realized that it was full of debris - pieces of barbed wire, roofing shingles, pipe, plastic, limbs. In short, it was VERY SUBSTANDARD hay.I don't know where they get their hay from, but they need to monitor the quality of the hay they are receiving more carefully !!I am totally disappointed in Hoffpauir Feed, as I have bought hay from them before this and it was decent quality.

Spent the afternoon shopping for my first ever bow. I had been in email contact with Aaron, but Zane was in the shop today. He was extremely helpful, patient with my questions and inexperience, and helped me make a good decision to purchase. He never once tried to push me or influence my decisions, he showed me a variety of products and explained all the pros and cons of each. Awesome shop, great customer service and reasonable pricing. The honesty, integrity and professionalism is most appreciated though. Thanks Hoffy's.

I’ve been to a lot of shops across the state. Some good, some bad. This one is amazing. First off it’s just a nice shop, big selection of equipment to pick from, indoor range, clean and well organized. Secondly, the guys here really know their stuff when it comes to archery. They take their time to work with you and get your setup the proper way.Anything you need or want, they can make it happen. Any questions you have, they can answer it. Overall a great shop and awesome customer service.They’ve made a lifelong customer out of me. I don’t care if I lived in Australia, I’d swim back here just to make sure they worked on my bow.

If youre new to archery and want an uncomfortable experience getting started go to hoffys. If you need help with tuning a bow or equipment that you didnt buy from them then expect to hear griping about you between employees. Terrible service.

Pricey is an understatement.After managing the largest western wear and feed store in the state (another state, not Texas) for over a year, I have an idea of what products cost and what markups are reasonable. This store seems to want to make their daily quota on each and every customer. Or they have a misconception that everyone in Texas has an oil well in their back yard.When local merchants try this approach to retail sales, it's no wonder on-line shopping is growing as fast as it is.Can I recommend this place? Only if you have no other options and can afford to pay through the nose.

I've been to quite a few bow shops in our area but the prices and service at Hoffy's is top notch. I can't recall a shop that I was treated so well at. I was introduced to all the techs and in good conversation the whole time I was there. Great selection of bows and quality accessories. There's tons of shops out there with stocked shelves but most of the time it's junk, not the case at Hoffy's. Black gold, QAD, Goldtip, Spot Hogg, etc. Guys stationed at Hood need to check this, they treat military guys really well. I will definitely be back for my needs as well as my wife's. Highly recommend this shop!

Stopped in this morning to fix an issue with my Obessesion Turmoil. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. I’ve now found my new bow shop! Highly recommend Hoffys to anyone in central Texas. Today they gained a new customer.
