Most of the people here are very sweet, but there is a young man (I believe he’s somewhat new) who is always on his phone while checking people out and doesn’t even bother to turn the bag carousel so customers can grab it. I’ve worked in customer service and don’t mind cashiers being relaxed, but it’s an issue when you’re more focused on your phone than doing your job decently.

I was just in the store a few minutes ago. I decided to sit in the parking lot and write this review. I went to purchase two totes, both of different sizes. One of the totes was marked on sale for $12, and the second tote was priced on sale for $16. When I got to the register, one of the totes rang up for $14, and the second tote rang for $18. So the person at the register went to verify the price. During her investigation, she discovered that two sales tags should have been removed yesterday, but they did not reflect the price I stated. I informed her I should be charged the price the totes were marked for. She proceeded to tell me that was not correct, as though she was stating that I was wrong about my statement. Instead, with an attitude, she contacted an individual via cell phone. I have to assume that person said to charge me the price that was marked under the merchandise.After the phone call, she never said a word to me. She just raised up the barcode reader, expecting that I should be well aware of what I was supposed to do. So obviously, I raised one of the totes so she could read it and proceeded to pick up the second tote. She never said a word while I held the second tote in the air. It’s sad because instead of saying anything about my statement and whether it was correct or incorrect, she chose silence.I don’t know what type of day this young lady was having, but I hope if it has been chaotic, it gets better. Any individual working at a register should consider how they treat their customers.To be clear, I know that no state or federal law is stating that companies have to honor their price for merchandise on the shelf. My concern is the unnecessary attitude that I received from the associate.

This was my first trip to this family dollar. I wanted to give it four stars as they had a wide variety of products to choose from and the employees were courteous but overall the store in and of itself felt crowded and stuffy..It wouldn't necessarily make this store my top pick oñ Family Dollar stores but I would return there..

Busy; cashier welcoming & efficient. Also she did not talk about family, self woes, and negativity, like one of the store personnel. Such a nice change from the grumpiness often displayed by management.

The crew members are always nice and store is usually good shape, clean, and comfortable. The store is ok but almost bought very expired yogurt and checked the next day because I had forgot to tell someone. The yogurt was 2 months past expiration.

Just to mention I’m extremely fair and honest rating any business but the following are FACTS.... There are many discount and or dollar stores these days but this location is terrible most items are constantly out of stock and name brand items are non existent (there’s a reason why the dollar items are a dollar some of the food my dog refused to eat) the store is dirty unorganized and most of the staff are not helpful My honest opinion try the competitor close by and stay away from this business

Very different than any shopping I've done there before I had a very nice looking 40-year-old man try to pick up on me where he was picking up on me but that's not something that happens everyday but it was cool it made my day

When you go to this store please check the expiration date on all the foods. I've noticed that pretty much almost all of the food I've bought from this store is expired. I don't trust this store anymore and I have to check everything.

My wife is taking over this location at the beginning of October. Rest assured...it will be a perfect example of what Family Dollar is supposed to be.

I love going to family dollar people are so nice there the only thing the parking lot does needs to look better , put out a trash can with a chain around it .
