I absolutely love this place. The owners are so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about any pet you have or are going to have. I was originally buying my dog food at petsmart paying upwards of $80-$100 every trip. I like knowing that what my dog is eating contains wholesome ingredients and is going to ultimately nurture her from puppy into old age. The vibe of the feed supply is family, and that’s what are pets are, family. So why not buy from family 100% recommend this place. Will never go anywhere else!

I didn't realize this place was under "new" ownership.. they took over 3 years ago & I haven't been here in awhile so I was surprised to see the new updates and excited to see they kept the old western style feed store charm. I also love that they added a little animal arena with various farm animals and a cool emu. I went for a special LONESTAR feed hat, and my daughters got a free train ride in custom 55 gallon barrel drums as their little boxcar seats.. it was so cute! It's great to see a family run business with the kids involved in the operation of it. They were all so polite, friendly, patient, and great customer service! Cool view of the big trains that pass by too! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT FOR YOUR FEED STORE NEEDS OR IF YOU'RE IN THE AREA!

2pm -normally it's clean but not this time. There were a couple of cats in a cage with a full litter box, the urine ammonia smell was so strong it burnt our eyes. We couldn't get out quick enough

This is a great feed store. They’re very friendly every time I come here. I have a disability and they help me by giving me curbside service with my 50 pound bag of dog food. I appreciate that.

This is my favorite place to hang out. The store has an old town feel you don’t find very often anymore. The store has specialty item like drinks, chips, honey products, spices, jams, and more. They are making improvements all the time and have plans to make la Porte a more fun place to call home. The owner is very knowledgeable about all animal issues large and small as well as people. With all the goats, horses, lambs, pig, chickens, dogs, cats it’s a great place to shop for all your animals needs.

I had no idea this feed store was thier. The woman that runs the place so kindly waited for while I raced over there to get my puppy shots. Explained everything I needed to know and sent me on my way with a bunch of great samples for my dogs beautiful coat ❤😍💕♥

Such knowledgeable and kind people running this establishment! They helped me with my dogs ear infection by giving suggestions that they didn't even carry, they just wanted to help, and it went away in 3 days. They have some of the best products for your pets and livestock too! I highly recommend them!

We made a uhaul reservation the week prior. Get there early in the morning and the place is closed. The lady said she notified uhaul she would be closed. Called uhaul and they have no record of that. As a uhaul store I'm sure there is a way you can see who is coming in and their phone number and at least notify the reservations. Ruined the move had to call off movers and find a new truck far far away in Alvin because of the last minute cancelation. Incurred more cost and stress. Can not recommend this place for rentals.

I really like this feed store and most the time they have what i want except today. But in there defense i went to about 8 different places looking for what i wanted . So yes i will still keep going back to Laporte feed store. Oh even thou they didnt have what i wanted she gave me the name of a couple other places that might. And she was correct i found what i was looking for.

They are the most kind hearted people. i’ve worked here for over a year and i couldn’t ask for a better boss and/or employees! when i first started coming here (2 years ago) they brought my feed for my horses in. they have taught me so much, from chickens, to rabbits and to livestock. absolutely recommend! i’ll always love them, even when i go off to college!
