This shop has it all! I was so excited to find a shop that housed an array of reptiles, fish and other small animals. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me get two leopard geckos I was purchasing from them set up with a new habit and everything they needed. I will definitely be coming back!

I own 4 leopard geckos and Bay Area Exotic is my favorite local pet store for finding everything I need for them! The couple who own the store put so much effort into taking care of their animals and the employees are well informed and very nice. I stopped by today just to buy a new bulb and was given tips for maintaining my heat lamp!

They are super nice and help you out with everything you need this is indeed the best place to go for a pet, food, accessories for them, and more I love that they have live food for reptiles such as frozen ones. They also have albino pets, that look so cute. I visit every week this store since I have to buy food for my reptile, and not every single time I have seen bad customer service because they are always in a good mood and respectful to all the customers. Is worth a try going if you haven't visit them. Snakes, turtles, lizards, insects, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets, birds, fish are some of the animals I can remember they sale there. I keep my word this is definitely the best place to go shop pets, aquariums, or any animal pets related

This is the place for all people who are mesmerized by animals. Walking inside is comparable to walking through a section of a zoo. Every week I come in multiple times and am met with the kindest and most helpful employees who all know their facts and information on the animals. It’s an amazing system and I love seeing it work and bring joy to myself and others all around. I’m obligated to my animals to bring them food so I have to come in anyways, but it always is the highlight of my day every time! I’ve been shopping here for 12 years and I’ll tell you that after the first time, I don’t think I’ve been back to pet smart! Also, here are some pics of my little collection (mostly bought from BAEP)!!!

My wife and I went there today to buy a reptile for our son for Christmas. The owner was super nice and helpful! She took the time to show us around and tell us about what we would need to feed, store and take care of the animal.

I love shopping here. The owners are the sweetest and so educated on the turtles. I bought a turtle from Petsmart and the turtle was extremely sick ended up dying at the vet. I went into Bay area Exotic Pet Store and saw they had healthy little Red Ear Sliders. I got me one and I have not had one issue with my turtle. I love this pet store. It's the ONLY PLACE I buy my turtle's stuff and my sons snake food from. They take care of their animals very well. And it's a family feeling when you walk in. I plan on buying more turtles from them here really soon.

I’ve been coming for years, tonight I happen to come in right before closing I needed help feeding my snake. I met the owners ! The owners were so patient !! They made sure we were taken care of. Went there so my kids could look at all the cool animals and reptiles and such.... Left with a baby Ball Python! The girls working there were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. One helped me pick out a terrarium and different stuff I needed for Steve to enjoy inside of it. That's his name, Steve the Ball Python. My daughter is thrilled! Definitely go check it out.

We bought a bearded dragon from here, we were given great advice by the knowledgeable staff. Our 4 inch dragon has grown to almost 15 inches. Great place for exotic pets and great advice.

If you haven’t visited this place, YOU MUST. The owners are incredible, knowledgeable, kind. They are always stocked with the things you need, and if they don’t have it. Quick to recommend. Love this place, I get mice for my snake every couple of weeks. I drive more than 30 minutes to go here because I will not feed my snake mice from the chain stores.

A very cool independent pet shop that offers a wide variety of pets and feeders at good prices. Was waiting a bit to post this review to see how my pac man frog I bought from them will be. I’m glad to say she’s adjusted well and eating like a champ! Will always be my first stop for reptile supplies.

The staff were able to answer my questions and suggested several options for an aquatic turtle setup that I wanted for a Christmas gift. In the end, I decided to have them special order a kit and came back to pick it up later in the week. The clerk even carried it out to my car for me. The recipient was thrilled and now the turtle has a luxurious new home.

Just adopted the sweetest pair of ferrets. They are in perfect condition and very love able. The owners and workers were the kindest and were so knowledgeable. They had all the supplies I needed to make these two sooooooo happy. These two are so snuggly and are already settled in.

They go out of their way not just to help you but educate you on all the different babies they carry! We are always coming here for all of our babies needs! I bought an axolotl from them and it died in less than a week. I have one axolotl already and for the one I bought from here I set up a new tank exactly like my pre-existing one. My axolotl that I had before is very healthy and happy, but the one I bought from here is now dead. I am very upset because I spent a lot of money on it and got attached but it’s now dead.

They have fish, some cool reptiles, exotic lizards, cool snakes, a couple of turtles, a few tarantulas & some really cute bunnies. Sorry I can't remember her name but the sales girl with the piercings was very friendly & helpful... She even went out of her way to get me what I needed... right at that very moment. Other places I doubt would have done that...

Absolutely love this store. Staff and owner are very friendly and knowledgeable!! We go every week to look at the animals and to buy food for the snake we bought from here as well. We have recommended this place to our family and it is our go to pet store. Several pets have been purchased here and any time we have questions or concerns they are ready and able to help! And you can tell this store really cares about the animals♡ Definitely found a gem with this store♡

I’ve been going to this place for years, once every two weeks I go to get rats and crickets and they have had them in stock for us. They take great care of their animals and are always determined to find good loving homes for them. It’s quick and friendly, and I always leave with a smile. They never disappoint! 😄😄
