This was my first experience with this location and it was terrible. First they refuse to give me a price on how much my medication will cost as I don’t have insurance so it’s an out of pocket payment. Then they said it would be 2-3 hours before my medication was ready. After that I called to try to get the price again as I wanted to see if I could afford it before filling the prescription. And you get stuck with a robot that is absolutely useless. And now I got a text saying my prescription was delayed because of an insurance issue which I told them about from the get go. Terrible customer service. I’ve never left a bad review but jeez. I recommend another location if you want good customer care. Or better training for the employees. Very disappointing

Changed my pharmacy to here since i just moved, i usually go to cvs. They tried to charge me for a medication that is covered fully by my insurance at every other pharmacy ive been too. They stated i have another insurance on file that i never have had and that because i had that one i couldnt use my actual insurance, i Called my insurance and they said it should be covered and that i dont have another insurance linked and that they called walgreens and they stated they didn't even have my insurance on file at all which is a lie because i went up there Waited 30 minutes for them to still try and charge me after the fact i told them that i didn't have a 2nd insurance and that my current insurance did cover it. I sent the medication into cvs and picked it up with no issues.

Mohammed Ahmed refused to fill a prescription because he claimed the doctor was out of area. The doctor is located in Houston 20 minutes away from the Walgreens location. The manager in the morning that I spoke with said that she would have the medication in stock and to call back. Clearly, Mohammed is not understanding company policy and is discriminating which keeps patients from getting their medication. There are life-threatening conditions involved. I have filled prescriptions from my Houston doctor in Seabrook and Webster, without any sort of issue. For some reason, the Lamarque location has their own set of rules and refuses service to customers at their discretion, which is not legal if it is based on discriminatory judgment. Avoid this location at all costs. They will be reported to the appropriate authorities and will receive proper reprimand if not worse. Big mistake.

I waited 30min in the pharmacy line. Only to get home and figure out my prescription is filled wrong. I then called to fix it, and they hung up on me after 25 min on hold.

Negative 4 stars....beware the employees will steal your medication...went to go pick up my medicine one particular medicine was NOT in the bag but they rang it up as if I picked it up...called them back and they are calling me a liar and they refuse to do inventory...they said the cameras showed them put it in the bag...they called me back 5 min later...you don't have time to look at the cameras in 5 min....I will be calling the corporate office...worst customer service ever...I will be filing a police report on the short skinny black girl

If I could give negative stars for this store, I would. After being put on hold SIXTEEN TIMES and waiting a total of a half hour, I gave up. In person service is no better. Lucy has a serious attitude problem and should legitimately be fired for her behavior towards patients/customers. I love going through the drive through JUST so she can ridicule ME for things they have screwed up. If there is a prescription problem or it is out of stock, they will not call you. You will just be screwed. Go here at your own risk and good luck.Also note that the vast majority of 5 star reviews on this store have no comments on them and should be considered suspect.

This place is sad!!! One lady that works in the pharmacy messed me up so bad! She called me and told me I didn’t have any available scripts on my meds when I had 2 days left and 2 refills available!So because of her action!! I’ve had to go back and forth from my mail order to them all DAY!! Just to oh boy be on the phone with my insurance company now!!Thank you to the one employee that needs to be retrained or go somewhere else!I hope I don’t ever have to use this pharmacy again!

Im not one to leave bad reviews but i am livid right now and need to vent. No Stars!! This Walgreens is the WORST ever. I have been trying to get through to someone for the past 5 hours . I hold for over an hour, someone picks up the phone and puts me on hold then hangs up the phone!! This happened 3 times today! This is always the case at this Walgreens .. They need more staff and definitely BETTER customer service.

Young guy at the pharmacy was very friendly. I went there directly from my Dr.'s office so I wasn't expecting my Rx to be ready. It took maybe about 20 minutes for them to fill it, which is kind of long since my Rx was something that was prepackaged (they didn't have to put pills into a bottle for me) but they were really busy.I was hesitant to go here because of all the bad reviews, but I had a good experience and would go to them again.

Lucy in the pharmacy is rude and unprofessional. She had me on hold 30 minutes to only get on the phone with an attitude and not be helpful. She was so unprofessional I hung up and went to the store so she could talk to me face to face the way she did on the phone and she didn't of course. Management was helpful she is just a waste of skin behind the counter.

I’m all for safety so if your employers are going to wear gloves when helping customers they need to be practicing sterility. Don’t help a customer that is being tested for Covid and handle that sample with one pair of gloves and turn around and continue to help another customer without changing gloves and sanitizing ever single surface you touched with said gloves on. It defeats the purpose of the gloves.

I went there because Fed Ex left me a delivery notice that my mail ordered prescription was there; its a Fed Ex drop off location. All the Fed Ex deliveries are picked up in the Photo department. The store was clean and a lovely young woman greeted me as I entered. I went to the pharmacy first. I thought it might be there because it was medicine. I was greeted quickly and professionally by the pharmacist and directed to Photo dept. Everything was quick and professional.

The Walgreens in La Marque is horrible. We waited days for a script to be filled and if you use the bathroom be careful! You're sure to catch something, it's nasty. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is the guys that fills the scripts seem friendly and knowledgeable.

The pharmacy and pharmacy techs are terrible. They're slow, no matter how many people are waiting. You'll wait at least 20-30 minutes just to find out your prescription still isn't filled. I've started using the Texas City location instead. They're quick and professional, while the La Marque location is not.

Kept my prescription for over a month with no calls nothing then refused to send my prescription to the new pharmacy. Rude very very rude did not care if I got my meds or not they close way to early to be a walgreens. Worat place ever

Horrible customer service. Slow. Takes at least 24 hours to get prescription filled/refilled. Need to talk to the pharmacy? Don't call. Put on hold for an HOUR yesterday. Called back to speak to manager and placed on hold for 5 min before being told manager was too busy to pick up. If I could rate lower I would.

Bad attitudes, never answers the phone, and should consider training on customer service. Called the doctor twice and arrived back at the pharmacy to be told, "I thought I told you the prescription isn't here." Obviously, if I came back that must mean I called the doctors office.

Be far the worst pharmacy I've seen horrible customer service horrible attitudes. This place should be shut down forever. I've received the wrong medication more than once they make you wait 4-5 hours for a Rx just a very very sad place avoid at all cost

I go here for the Pharmacy mostly... The Pharmacy staff is helpful and has great knowledge of Pharmacy related items.. This location is also well known for having cheap cigarettes throughout its community...
