They have seen all of our fur babies. Cats and dogs and are absolutely wonderful. Here is a list of qualities I look for when taking my babies somewhere that they acquire. Kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, compassion, experience, budget friendly, enthusiastic, caring, knowledgeable and last but not least available. There have been a few times that I've needed to be seen in a pinch and they try their best to accommodate.

I am thrilled to have found Neighborhood Veterinary Clinic in La Marque. I am a senior on a fixed income and I cannot afford the other vet I was going to any longer. NVC truly saved me, their prices are very reasonable! Dr. Critser is a very nice man, and the staff are very helpful and nice as well. Thank you NVC for helping me and my fur baby Sandy. They’re always friendly when I call, and on a day when I called about a medication I was able to swing by and pick it up that afternoon along with treatment plans. They’ve seen my mom’s cat before and hospitalized her and we had a great experience then.

Clinic was willing to squeeze my pup in last minute for an injury and vaccine visit. They treated him for multiple concerns in one visit and were very helpful and answered all questions. Will definitely revisit this clinic!

This visit was good, considering we were just doing blood work. Then I started remembering other things that were going on with my fur baby and they ran more test and gave him an antibiotic for a yeast infection in his ears. Blood work came back good, but I had to call them to get the information. The tech that was working with us that day was friendly, and caring about my boys needs as was the vet himself.

We love our vet!! We take our three cats here and have always had an amazing experience. We are always warmly greeted by everyone at the front desk and we never have to wait for a room. Our cats, along with myself, can be quite chaotic and everyone here is always ready for it lol. We have had the pleasure of working with McKenna, Sam, and Vivian, who are super knowledgeable, helpful, and sweet with our Kitties. I believe Dr. Crister is the vet we have seen and he is very professional, kind, and informative. If you want a great experience for you and your pet this is definitely the place to go!

Absolutely amazing. Nothing short of the best care and extremely reasonable prices. She was so patient and you can tell she loves and cares for animals.She makes you feel heard. I walked in expecting to pay at least 200 dollars for the injury on my dogs leg. To my surprise I walked out only paying 96 dollars. The most expensive thing was the examination fee of only 35 dollars!She was so sweet and gentle with my dog. I felt like such a bad dog mom for my dog being injured. But Dr. Prida made me feel better after taking the upmost best care for my baby.She has made a permanent customer out of me.

I am highly disappointed in the care I received for my cat at this clinic. The vet was negligent in reviewing all my possible issues that could be wrong with Gatsby’s eye. It was written off as an allergic reaction for over two weeks. After two visits to this clinic and numerous phone calls Gatsby’s eye continued to get worse. I finally had enough of them writing off the issue and went to VCA animal hospital to get treatment, and come to find out Gatsby has an ulcer on his eye. The treatment that was provided by this clinic has adversely affected the healing of his eye. Now I’m faced with a 50/50 chance that Gatsby could loose his eye. DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC!

I have been going to this vet since Dr. Prada opened, I met her at Animal Alliance and moved with her. I've been having my baby's nails cut regularly since I started there, this last time was horrible I heard Izzy cry and a few minutes later the lady brought her out and infront of a full waiting room told me to take her out and don't bring her unless I've given her 250 mg of trazdone, she weights 50 lbs.. It seems they have a new tech the last one had long blonde hair. Anyway now that I've been ranting on, Because her nails haven't been cut and she has allergies really bad she has torn herself up !!!
