I was in this store and heard the manager Patrick after he got off the phone with someone who had a problem with DoorDash and her foodstamps as he walked by me he made the statement that if your on damn foodstamps you shouldn't be using doordash people on foodstamps are not Second class citizens and should not be talked about like that. I won't be shopping in this as tore again

I wish I could give 0 stars. As I walk into the store there was a lady with 2 kids at checkout. She had a coupon and grabbed over the amount she had. So she asked to take some items off her ticket. She didn't speak very good English. The man checking her out yelled "GOOD GOD!" after she asked. Well I continued to grab my items and by the time I came to check out there was a line. The cashier them proceeded to mock and talk about the lady who he'd checked out maybe 5 mins before (if that). The 2 customers that he was gossiping to was also just as disrespectful as him. They was making fun of her English, mocking her, saying how if she don't have money she shouldn't have kids, and one of the customers made a comment saying "don't worry you probably won't see her again." His response was "No there's always them kindof people in here." At that point I was mad! I left the store! I will not go back there EVER!

I don't know what the cashier's deal was, but he was very very rude. he asked me if I was ready with an attitude after I had been waiting on him to be done with the problems he was having with the customers ahead of me. Don't take your personal frustrations out on me. I don't know why this place has high ratings. Terrible. At least fake being nice. And he seemed to be the manager too. This attitude is completely unacceptable especially for a manager.

Had to replace a coffee maker, and didn't want to deal with Walmart. Store had two different models in stock. Also had a great price. I ended up taking the less expensive one back and replacing it with the better one. It was not a hassle, just make sure you have your receipt.

I always love this particular dollar general in La Marque Texas. The manager Mahammed is very nice and helpful. The only dollar general I feel like I'm not profiled before I even start shopping. I just love that it is very friendly oriented.

Not a good store at all. They have poor customer service here, don't care if they give you back your correct change or not they will argue with you one time I gave them $100 bill in the woman gave me change for a 20 and I had to get to managers over there to argue and fight with her to get my deck of money back really freaking ridiculous here. Also you can hardly ever walk around inside the store because I've always got piles of boxes or the plastic tote and everything else that no one puts up at all and there's always three or four people standing in the office two or three people behind the counter one person outside smoking a cigarette one on their phone and nothing has ever done at the store I don't like the store at all.

Sorry but compared to other Dollar General stores this one has serious problems ! More times than not the people that wait on you are not very friendly. In fact just recently, I believe he was a assistant manager, he was so rude to me I couldn't believe it. I'm a 73 year old woman and I was so upset some of the other customers came to help me. This store is just around the corner from me but down the road is another D.G. store that are so friendly and shelves are always stock, no waiting line just a over all pleasant experience, I believe the manager's name is Crystal, her store is a top plus. I just wish the store on Bayou would have the same shopping experience. Bayou store most employees always seem so stressed , about to blow , and sometimes they do blow. I Love my Dollar General stores, have tried other dollar stores but DG is the one for me.Your coupon systems work so well and something about your stores overall shopping experience just works so well.Sorry this is so long but this last experience at the Bayou store was just over the top and I needed to report it. Thank You

Like this store but Fire hazardous. To many carts with merchandise on them. I really believe they order to much and don't have nowhere to put it. Something's are even to high to reach. Surprise Fire Marshall hasn't made them clean the aisle or made them shut store down till they can clean place up. Accident waiting to happen.

Make sure you download and clip all your coupons before you walk in the store because once you get in the store they have no internet service. And they're coupon system at the cash register is extremely slow be prepared to wait.

The store is kept very clean and fully stocked. They really try to get you through the checkout line quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff...

They were one my best places to shop clean organized but all that changes there price gouging in tp and other items I understand a limit on items but Jack up price is unlawful went in with no intention on buying out one single items cause I can go buy other items I need tomorrow ECT. ECT. And there are more dg per grocery store around in every neighborhood smh

Very good service and product variety but the freezers/refrigerators were cluttered but that wasn't really the problem I would have given this place 5 stars but in one of the freezers/refrigerators with the egg cartons in it was full of egg cartons with egg yolks on them every last egg cartoon had at least 1 broken egg in it and egg yolk rolling down the outside of the carton.

Usually a LONG wait in line. Not a very clean store. Employees all seem to only be there for a paycheck. But, prices are much better than a convenience store.

Get it right get it cheap at your local dollar general. They have a type of pork skins at a good price that I can't find many places. They're my go-to.

I go here before i have coffee this is where they sell clover valley liquid creamer 16 oz thiick creamer sweet and thick creaming so good and only 50 calories $1.85

We go here anything we need from coffee or bread or anything. Just a couple of blocks from us. Just need to clean outside and other side of parking lot.

The staff is friendly and I really like this store. They get busy and they are short-handed with staff but I like the store regardless of it.
