Pharmacy staff is rude and uncooperative. After buying syringes for a prescription filled at another pharmacy for almost 5 years, all of a sudden the “pharmacy manager”, with no explanation says if your prescription isn’t filled there you can’t buy syringes. Ridiculous and the cashier in the pharmacy was rude for no reason. When I asked to speak to the manager, she refused and said she was the acting manager. I’ll never set foot in this place or another CVS again.

A pharmacy employee called me to ask if I wanted my prescription, and would I be picking it up today. I drove over there for pickup a few hours later when an employee informed me that it was too soon to fill the prescription and could offer no reasoning on why they called me in.

Great shopping experience, prices within reason...the clerk(older lady) was very nice and understanding, very pleasant attitude. Need more workers like this everywhere to make you want to shop at a business!!!

Today, New Years Eve, after I had already waited at urgent care at UTMB to get a prescription for my daughters eye infection, in which they had written a prescription that was not available with any pharmacy within 20 miles, EVERY pharmacy closing at 6pm, UTMB urgent care closing at 6pm things are becoming urgent and critical as everything will be closed tomorrow for Christmas, it is now past 6pm the pharmacist who was trying so hard to help me, to guide me into telling the nurses what I needed from them in order to fulfill a new prescription. She was soo amazing she stuck around until the new prescription showed up, when she didn't have to, she could see how distraught I was and she knew I would have no other options for treatment, she sacrificed her own time to be with her family to take care of mine, you can't ask for better service then that, there is no amount of money that can pay for that kind of compassion that was so desperately needed tonight. I was so worked up that I never caught her name, she knows who she is though, you were my angel tonight and I will forever be grateful to you. If you want a pharmacist/pharmacy/staff that will go above and beyond this is where you should be going.

JOHN OR LEONARD THE MALE EMPLOYEE THATS SHAVES OFF HIS EYEBROWS...HE IS LAZY AND TALKS SO BAD ABOUT THE STORE. HE CALLED IT GHETTO. He has been there awhile.The older lady that works the front all the time..is lazy and dosent know anything. Rhey are sooo lazy! While waiting in line John leonard aka John, let all the customers know all the stores around them are shutting down because its the ghetto lamarque and its they have been robbed. RIDICULOUS!

When I came to CVS it was a good move. But that didn't last long. I went there today to pick up my prescription that should have been filled 2 days ago and they had not even started it yet. There were 7 employees back there and I stood at the counter for 3 minutes before anybody even addressed me. I was there for over 10 minutes in all and not one worker close a bottle of medicine and bagged it. The only one working was the woman attending the drive through. Whoever hired these people needs to be accountable for hiring and bunch of rude and lazy employees. I will be getting my prescription somewhere else soon.This review I submitted over a year ago. Since then the issue must have been addressed. The service has been very good, friendly and prompt which I am especially grateful considering my condition the last 2 or 3 times going there. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here with my mother to pick up medication, and the cashier at the pharmacy was a lightskin with short curly hair, she was rude to my mother for no reason, she had told us Medicare wasn’t able to cover one of the medications my mother friendly asked her why not, and she gave an instant attitude right away and slammed her finger on the keyboard so hard. She should be thankful I didn’t cuss her out. Never coming back again hope they get hit by a hurricane.

Normally I’d give the pharmacy a high rating. However as a senior my last experience was not cordial. Wondering if anyone else has experienced a drastic attitude change. Got my RX filled at Walgreens for much lower cost with outstanding courtesy. Saved me $300 with a SingleCare card. Worth the effort but until last week they were less than helpful to assist but something changed. Seemed to aggravate them to lookup the numbers and with more than one person. Another person ask for help reading an over the counter drug and treated rudely. Sad to post.

This CVS always has friendly, amicable staff. They are very knowledgeable about products and weekly sales going on, and usually give out "rainchecks" if a product is out of stock but on sale. They may have limited staff but that's corporate cutbacks. The staff they so have is always multitasking. And even the pharmacy staff is polite when they are busy and always efficient and willing to answer your questions.

check your items, if you can, before you leave the store. bought a candy bar and once i got home and opened it, it had been melted at one point in the unopened wrapper. will try to return.employee offered me refund or exchange but they didnt have any of the same.

If I could give less than one star I would. I was there way before 8pm and because there was a line they closed the window in my face & turned off the lights. I was unable to get my scripts when I needed them. I needed them prior to being out on my 48 hour shift so I was unable to get them in time before of my 48 hour shift.

I have tried to use this pharmacy for my many different medications, but there is always some "complication". They tell you to call because the website isn't always up to speed, so I call and they say " yes your prescription is ready " get there, " sorry, I don't know who you talked to but we don't even have that in stock,, we will have to special order it." The management doesn't believe anything you say and I will never use any cvs store again because all of them are the same. They do not want your business!!! And on top of all that, if you don't mind having someone put infront of you in line because "they were already there " and you watched that same man pulling up as I was walking in the store then you want mind them making you wait in line a second time because they didn't have all of the prescriptions ready, this is the place for you.

This is the WORST CVS in Texas. Lazy staff, no one answers your calls, and you are harassed by a recording that repeats itself every 15 seconds, reminding you get your Covid vaccine. We don’t need to be told to get that vaccine anymore, we need the pharmacy to do their job, and answer the phone. I recommend Walgreens, because surprisingly, they know how to use a phone.

Called about prescription told them I had a Gold RX card and was advised to show it when I pick my medicine up. Wait in line for 45 mins to be told my prescription was ready but now I had to wait another 30 mins to "rebill me". So I had to wait an additional 30 mins on top of the 30 mins for the ridiculously long line. Will not be coming back to this CVS, should have went to Walgreens.

The cashier was too lazy to come check me out and automatically directed me to the new self-checkout, which I'd never used. I used it, but got a button wrong and she ended up having to check me out at the register anyway. She made her strong displeasure felt.

The women's restroom was apparently for employees only with no sign to indicate that, so the men's was the only option and it was the nastiest bathroom I've ever been in, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. By far the worst cvs I've been in

The older lady that works here is ALWAYS on her phone. I’ll stop by in the afternoons sometimes to grab a drink and she is behind the counter talking loud and won’t put her cell phone down until you are standing there at the counter waiting for her. She is also VERY rude. Needs to be trained on customer service. Every other time I stop by and it’s one of the other workers they are always very polite.

Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged by cashier in an empty store. Finally when she got off her phone and noticed me, no apology not even a smile. The pharmacy is fast and efficient. But the front needs work.

I cannot give zero stars or this store would get a big fat goose egg. I went there today to pick up my meds... I recieved a text saying that it was ready to pick up. When I walked in, the pharm tech was taking a cash payment from a lady. When she finished, I went up to give her my insurance card. She informed me that I had to stand behind a folding table in front of the counter. She took my card with no gloves... just like she took the cash from the lady in front of me with no gloves. How is a 3 foot wide table going to make a difference? It really frustrates me to see this lunacy... I do know that I will never patronize this store again.

This is the best CVS Store I have visited. There is 100% focus on customer service. I am greeted when I walk in the door and always asked if I found everything I was looking for at checkout. They have a good variety of hair products for African American hair.

Thank yall so much for your kindness. I left the urgent care at 5:42 not taking into consideration that Labor was here. I called them to let them know I was hauling butt to get to them or if I needed to call a different pharmacy. They filled it and I got there 2 minutes past and they still helped me. Thank you my 3 year old has a double ear infection. I appreciate yall

The CVS in La Marque , Tx is absolutely the best pharmacy by far that I've ever used! The staff is awesome, I've never had so much as even one mistake there! The pharmacist Dewayne seems to always be there to answer any questions or concerns that you may have!

If I could give no star they would get it. Made my appt for the test, received conf code. When I get there for my turn they claimed to have lost my information. I asked do they want the conf code I was given, he said no.So I have to provide all the infor again then after another 15 mins of waiting to take the test. The man comes back and ask for my conf code that I tried to give to begin with smh.and another 10 mins smh. This location is the worst, the other cvs isn't so incompetent

I don’t have much in my neighborhood for running to the corner for milk but there is a cvs. . That was fine until COVID killed it. Now if by chance you buy something that happens to be defective. Too bad no refunds. Electronics... don’t care . Your loss. What’s worse is, manager discretion is the bottom line. I buy all of my families drug prescriptions corner store stops and all. No more. When you look me in the eye and say it’s the manager’s discretion and tell me no. You must not be from here. This is where I grew up. I will tell everyone I know that cvs no longer wants my business and I will let all I know how important customer service is to them. I was here before CVSWas.

Went to CVS in LaMarque in attempt to purchase items to prepare for unfortunate upcoming storm. (Hurricane Harvey) Well when I went to grab a case of water I see that they bumped the prices to $5.99. In my opinion that is very unethical. How can management feel comfortable with jacking up prices because an upcoming disaster awaits. Will never stop at CVS ever again.

The lady in the store was very rude on the night shift when I walked in there was no customer service at all, but as soon as I stuck my hand in my pocket and my keys begin to rattle she scurried right on over there!!! She then proceeded to ask me what I was looking for and still after all that I didn't receive the proper help that was needed!!! Listen up CVS I'm BIG on Customer Service and if you don't show with some RESPECT I will NOT SPEND MONEY THERE AND I WILL LET IT BE KNOWN TO THE COMMUNITY ALSO I DON'T NEED YOUR RACISM EITHER!!!! NOT EVERY BLACK PERSON WHO COMES IN YOUR STORE STEALS!!!!!

Nice & Clean Location. Front Store and Pharmacy are very nice employees. It feels good to walk in a place of business and they acknowledge you by name. Very close and convenient to my home.

They closed for lunch but that's not listed on their hours would say they're supposed to be open. That's rude but not surprising since a fair number of employees are very cold in a fish's in dealing with customers. I think it's time to give Walgreens a tryout.

This store is conveniently located but I will not be going back...the cashiers and store manager refused to assist a me running in to grab item and keep it moving..it's a line of folks and they claim "Corporate" says you have to use self checkout....smh customer service sucks at this CVS...I will take my business next door or cross the street
