One of the cashiers a lady and she was very nice. I have a service dog and nobody questioned me about her. They understood why I had my dog with me. One day I went there to ask if I could get some food on credit. Just until I received my snap deposit. Which was 3 to 4 days before I would get them. The manager told me that she couldn't but offered to buy me some food. I was blessed that night because we needed some food. There are good people in the world. God bless them.

Convenient store prices . The meat market and produce are just fair..If convenience is a necessity then this little store in La Feria can get you out of a pinch.

Once they come in ..people forget how to use manners..their arms, the counters...like they can't put their groceries on the counter...they can't keep the personal comments to themselves. It always has a smell of rotten meat but it's been that way since I was a kid. The food is over priced and to me it seems that they seem to buy the left over products from dealers . It seems that they buy the stuff no one else wanted and then they sell it to us at a very high price. The veggies are usually bad or close to it and frozen food usually seems like it was defrosted and then refroze. Still if you need something quick it's easy to go get it there.

Great deals on meat!! High quality !! Smaller store but close to RV Park and can findmost of what I need.Found my Blackburns pecan pancake syrup I have only found on Amazon!! I stocked up!!!

Big price mark up. Okay for 1 or 2 items but very pricey for a full cart. And, I'm sorry BUT WHAT IS THAT SMELL? I was hoping after adding Ace Hardware and revamping it would be better but, no. Also, why is there always 47 carts parked full of mish-mash right in the entryway? Do better elsewhere.

This Grocery and Hardware store is so handy to have close to home for La Feria residents. It is well stocked and has an amazing Butcher Shop as well.

This is a grocery store with a huge variety of spices. Chicks are on sale for $0.69 per pound. I bought a container of Ralph's no salt fajitas seasoning. This place is a total joy to shop at. I recommend it to everyone who wants to try something new.

It's OK. El Centro Foods is the only supermarket in the city. The store is outdated and has a smell to it. The meat market sometimes has good deals. Most items cost more than HEB, a competitor. The produce is limited since its in a small town. I usually can not find certain items. Overall it's convient since the closest supermarket is in the next town over.

I would rate zero stars if I could only due to the customer service, the items I purchased were not bad quality. The entire experience was ruined by a sour cashier who had no customer service skills. I'm truly repulsed that someone this disrespectful would even be hired period.

I like this store. The people are friendly. It is the only store close to my home, so I do not mind their high prices, but it is in need of an inventory upgrade.I like their boneless chicken and their meat market smells fresh, but sometimes the fresh veggies just look old. I do wish they would get some more good quality food products.Here is my personal list: Cage Free eggs, Greek yogurt, whole wheat flour and whole wheat tortillas with no hydrogenated vegetable oil. (The tortilla factory has them) MaraNathan Organic peanut butter, (MaraNathan is good because it is organic with no sugar added). Basmati Rice, Fresh green beans, cucumbers, and organic carrots.The people that work there are nice and they get you through the registers quickly; However, since it is the only grocery store in La Feria, and their prices are high anyway, I would like to see more quality in there inventory, and cards that could be filled out to make requests. They could do much to improve the health of the community.

I was very impressed with the ACE Hardware section in the store, now I don't have to drive to Harlingen from Santa Rosa. We'll be saving on gas and time!

I would rate a zero if I could but oh well. So upset! So my parents went to El Centro foods and purchased some essentials including eggs. My mom told me that she had to buy eggs and paid $13.99!! I called the store only to be laughed at by the manager who said that the Attorney General called them the other day and said it was ok for them to raise the pricing. This is unacceptable and against the law. I have notified local news stations and will also be contacting the Attorney general. I cannot understand why and how they were allowed to price gouge when it is illegal.

El Centro it's ok but there's some things that are very high prices in meat and also bread ,milk, cereals, ice cream very high prices.I go there cause are HEB are very far to go when we need something fast I'll just go to El Centro they need to go lower on there prices and it would be much better for us
