While I did not have a particularly negative experience there are several reasons for my review. When I was told it would be about 20-30 minutes. I left, ate and ran some errands so I could return much later. After waiting, I was told it would be another 5-10 minutes which really made me mad because I’d been gone well over 45. So the script was injections therefore I asked for alcohol swabs. The clerk said she didn’t know if they carried them. (I wanted to grab them so I could check out all at one time.) I checked out and asked her again. She was able to find someone to tell me where to get them. Then… this afternoon, I found out that they didn’t even give me but 20% of my prescription. Why would they bother NOT telling me the other was back ordered? You don’t just give someone part of a prescription without telling them! UGH

The pharmacy staff intentionally held off on filling my time-sensitive prescriptions, to go on break. I had called them, they told me 45mins, 1hr+ later they said it won't be ready until after 2pm, even though I arrived 20mins before their break time. Just very slimy thing to do, I worked in Customer service and never did this to people.

Horrible service completely incompetent from the insurance staff to the Pharmacist... I had to give them a play by play on how to complete their job and they were still unable to do complete it successfully. When asked to speak to pharmacy manager I was told they are on leave. Transfered the medication out to HEB and it was ready within 15mins. Crazy how people have forgotten to treat their customers like a family member with kindness and willingness to help. Instead they are out for a check, if you don't like your job get a new one.

I was just diagnosed with Hypertension and had an immense headache. My doctor prescribed a common blood pressure medicine at 8:30 AM and said I needed to take it ASAP. I called at noon and they said it would be ready after 3:00. My wife went at 3:15 and they said it would not be ready until the next day after 3:00. When I called to complain, the lady said “well, we could fill it today”. Needless to say that did not help my blood pressure. I had another local pharmacy call them to transfer script and they filled it within two hours. Goodbye Walgreens. I won’t be back.

They refuse to give me my cash back. Even though I did not like the quality of the photos I had printed. They insisted on a gift card to the store. But I don't even shop here. And everything's overpriced. So I ended up having to sell the car to one of their customers in the store. Because they refused to give me moneyback. I just want my money back.

This location and their staff has horrible communication skills! Not only did they waste my time and me being in pain just leaving the emergency room, they lack the common sense to communicate vital information regarding my prescription being out of stock and that I would have to drive to another location that’s 24hrs to have it filled there.Mind you that location is about 20 miles away from me.I call the other location and they said that I would have to call the ER to have the pharmacy changed.Why didn’t the staff let me know this right away instead of me wasting my time and gas? Unprofessional staff wasting valuable time. Please train your techs better!!

This walgreens told me my insurance wouldn't cover my medication. Said there was nothing they could do. I ended up having a seizure due to not being able to get my meds, called my insurance to find out what the heck was going on only to find out walgreens NEVER SENT A REQUEST!!! Absolutely garbage. Shut your doors if you can't do your job

I had literal surgery today and it took this pharmacy over 7 WHOLE HOURS to fill my prescriptions so I could take my pain medicine. I’ve been sitting in pain all day I’ve called 8 times with no answer and had someone go in person for me 3 different times to ask them to fill my prescriptions. Absolutely ridiculous I was cut open and my doctor put a rush on the script yet it still took 7 hours. Never using them again.

This Walgreens has the most genuine staff I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They’re lightening fast. And even with the thousands of customers they serve, they still call you by your name, ask you how you are doing with authentic concern, and answer questions without rushing you.Anders is the pharmacist I have most frequently interacted with, and he never fails to exceed expectations- whether it be pharmacotherapy/ research-based or just being a genuinely kind human who cares about the quality of care he provides! Colton the pharmacy manager is always saying hello with a smile while working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. Ashley, another pharmacist, also wonderful, sweet and helpful!The techs are amazing and treat you with dignity and respect. Honestly, if you just treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve, they will take care of you. With a sincere smile, every time! Thanks so much for everything. You are appreciated!

The pharmacists are nice but terrible service time and time again. Expect to wait a minimum of 15 minutes for a prescription that you called in ahead and time. You can’t schedule an appointment in store for vaccination, they'll refer you to the site. You get an appointment online and show up just to be told “oh we don’t have the vaccine in stock”. If you didn’t have it why didn’t you call your appointments for the day to notify before coming in? So we got rescheduled in the store and then call in to make sure they have it in stock just to be told “we’re understaffed and cancelled all appointments, you should’ve gotten an email”. We received no email and called back to see about rescheduling there or at another store and they said they can’t see other stores schedules. We called the other Walgreens and weirdly enough they could see the appointment at the other store (so much for being cancelled). They’re not organized whatsoever and you’ll suffer the consequences. They don’t want to help you at all. Go to the other Walgreens at any cost.

Absurd wait times at the Drive-thru. Doesn’t matter what time of day you come. I have never waited less than 30 minutes in this line. I don’t understand how it can take 15 minutes for one car. One. Car. If they need a long consult they should be asked to go inside if they’re able. This is supposed to be a simple pickup line, not an entire appointment.

I was so pleased at Walgreens this past weekend. I was struggling for almost 2 hours with trying to get pictures developed. **Selena was so helpful and kind. She had so much patience. I'm not sure what was wrong with the photo system but she made sure to keep trying to get my pictures developed. Once that failed she helped me with my phone and Kiosk machine. **Selena also helped me edit and crop my photos so I could print the pictures for a father's days gift. She was so great and definitely a pleasure. I usually don't make post and reviews but she was honestly amazing!!!!

On hold for over an hour on phone. Drive thru is so slow. They are very busy but need to be more efficient Gonna just simply change pharmacy and hope for the best. Can't be worse then this.

I have used this pharmacy since 2012. I have always found the staff to be professional and friendly and very helpful. I am a nurse and as such I know how busy the pharmacists are. However, the times I have needed to speak with the pharmacist, they took their time and were more than helpful. They have no idea I am a nurse. The store manager is also very accommodating!

I use the pharmacy the most & they're always so welcoming & kind! Expect a bit of a wait at the pharmacy but have patience the wait isn't too bad! Overall it's really not that busy in the shopping area. The shopping area is pretty well kept & clean! Sometimes I grab keto friendly snacks so that's a plus for me & my husband!

Went in there to pick up an order I had placed online. It was busy and there was only one clerk checking out customers. He then called for assistance, and an older woman with red, short, pixie-cut hair and tattooed eyebrows and long nails came out. She wasn't friendly at all. Didn't smile or anything when I tried being friendly. She just gave me my package and I thought she was going to give me a receipt or something because she just stood there staring at her computer and didn't say a word. Until minutes later she asked rudely if that was it. I mean.. Yeah, I guess so? Sorry for making you do your job 😶😶... P.S. it is the employee's job to be courteous... Not the customer's... Besides her, I've always had good experiences here since they opened.

I’ve seen a lot of negative responses regarding the drive-thru... People, please understand, they are doing their best! I have used this Walgreens for over 14 years and the staff only gets better and better. Most people use this service (i.e drive-thru) to have the luxury of being in their vehicle, comfortable and not around a lot of other customers. ** HINT, this does not mean the drive-thru is faster than going inside.As a person whom works in healthcare I can tell you that many things hinder the speed of pickup’s/drop-off’s. Don’t blame the staff if your RX was not received by your physician, urgent care or hospital. This is “your” responsibility to do so before you just show up. Download the Walgreens App. and you can see exactly what the progress your RX is at.When I use the drive-thru method I alreadyknow to expect a short to medium wait. When there is only 1 person working in that position, it’s the customer(s) that are the cause of delays and long waits. Not the staff. The staff all have been kind and professional and work their hardest to be as quick as possible. They know above all, no one likes feeling ill and having to wait.I have not had any negative experiences going inside or drive-thru.When everyone stayed home during the historical snow storms that we experienced, they showed up to work, for us! Both inside staff and pharmacy staff... That alone says a GREAT DEAL of how they care for their patients/customers. Not to mention all of the other pharmacies that never even attempted to open on those days...My only idea/comment that I have is this; to better the pharmacy customers experience to have a quicker visit is to construct an additional area inside the pharmacy for an additional computer, an additional position to man both drive-thru’s lines when built, and an additional camera to be associated with the new drive-thru line. Along with newer “much longer and wider” rain covers at both points of contact.If this could be built and done for the pharmacy by Walgreens, there would be nothing more to say...- Incredibly Happy CustomerMarch 24, 2021

After ordering a canvas portrait here, I get it and the wooden brackets fell off soon as I hung it up. I called the store and spoke with Aiden in photography and he basically tried to tell me that I didn’t purchase it from their store. Mind you I live in Kyle not even 5m from the store. Where else would I have gotten it from. Furthermore the only time o order canvas portraits is when there’s a coupon online, in which I do an internet to store. So how is it that he couldn’t find my portraits if my online profile is attached to my phone number. After giving him my hunger 5x and he kept getting it wrong I asked to speak with a store manager she said no store manager was available and only him a shift lead was available. He was very rude and dismissive!

Worst experience EVER! Wish I could give a "no star" review to this place because their customer service is terrible. For the last 3 days, I have been calling the pharmacy department trying to get information about my daughter's prescription.Every time I called, the automated system directed me to the pharmacy dept. and I waited, and waited, AND WAITED for someone to pick up the phone... I waited more than AN HOUR to be exact.Today, I called again and finally, someone answered the phone in the pharmacy dept. After I was told that my daughter didn't have any more prescriptions on file (because the pharmacy dept. never answered the phone every time I called). I asked to speak to a supervisor to file a complaint and the man on the line told me he was "the pharmacy manager" and that he was the right person to file the complaint with... When I told him about my super bad experience with their phone system and that for the past three days no one has been available to answer the telephone... he flat out told me "that is not possible"... in other words, he called me a liar right on my face! I even mentioned to him all the negative reviews this Walgreens location has on Google and he didn't seem to care AT ALL.I definitely don't need this at all and that's why I am taking my business somewhere else from now on....

So yes the new pharmacist have improved customer service again they lack and are slack in process.Yesterday I received a call from my doctors office and one of the techs sent a request for a refill on one of my medications. Are you kidding me I ask all of you?Think about this...if we tried to get a controlled prescription a day early they would put us on Their List and of course we would be under scrutiny by everyone from the doctor to the Feds.When I ask for an explanation he wanted to blame me until he realized my process isn't such. Then he just blew it off as a "oops must have been a mistake" I can't wait until Amazon can offer all meds from pill pack.

Pharmacy staff has no customer relations training. Does not explain to customer when system is down to help us understand why we are waiting outside in the drive up for 30 minutes. When I brought this up to the Mgr. on duty inside, (as I felt like she needed to know, so I went inside...she said she would speak to them in meeting. I said NO, you need to tell them now...customers are wrapped around the bldg. And your staff is not explaining the situation. She said well, I can't very well do it right now, as I have a customer in the photo dept. Are you kidding me? She has probably 20 customers getting upset in the pharmacy dept. and she is worried about ONE customer in the photo dept.? She obviously does not know about prioritizing. I have had nothing but trouble with this pharmacy. More eg's. Filling a 90 supply of semistatin into a small vile which is designed to hold 30 tabs...and where most of it went down the sink when I opened it. And then the Mgr. of the Pharmacy would not call me back regarding. ETC. ETC. ETC. The worse drug store ever!

This pharmacy is so inconsistent except on wait times. Wait times are consistently slow regardless of the number of people working. If you have a manufacturer coupon, that really throws them for a loop, too. (I have been waiting thirty minutes this time.) I’ve been taking the same monthly medication since I moved here five years ago. Yet almost every month they have to order it. Perhaps it’s time to find a new pharmacy.

Go to CVS. Second time I have scheduled a vaccine only to show up and be told they are under staffed and can't do it. Don't use the online scheduling because evidently, they have no idea appointments get scheduled

Yes sometimes the drive thru pharmacy is busy and there's a wait sometimes but the clerks are always nice and have excellent customer service. It's worth the wait to me. I won't go to any other pharmacy.

The front register staff have always been excellent. The pharmacy staff on the other hand is terrible. They are consistently rude and/or understaffed. It's not uncommon to be stuck waiting 20 minutes in the drive-thru. When you go in, you see the same person having to serve both the drive-thru and the indoor patrons.Come on guys... get it together.I miss my Walgreens in Schertz, they had it together...
