i came in after work in a bit of a rush to pick up some turkey sausage so i could make dinner. there were only 4 in the fridge & i hadnt noticed the color change of the meat until i was done scanning all of my items and got to my last item - the sausage. i realized it was slightly bad and couldnt exit the checkout screen so i took my stuff and went back to the fridge to see if there was any other ones that looked better, and maybe find someone who was stocking so i could ask them bc the lady upfront looked busy. when they went to ask the lady upfront who im guessing is the manager, she had the nastiest attitude. she said that those were the last of them, & that she had asked me if i needed help & i ‘rudely walked away’, and said that i ‘couldnt check prices on the register’, which i wasnt doing. i ended up buying everything except the sausage , and after payment i went to the fridge to return the sausage so i could get on with my day. i turn around and im being followed because she ‘wanted to see what i was doing back here etcetc’ with continued attitude. idc who you are im a paying customer and u have cameras everywhere to check if im stealing. even if i didnt hear her there was no need to have an attitude with anyone, its your literal job to assist. horrible customer service. thank you to the shipment guy that was nice enough to assist me tho it wasnt his job to.

I was just there and one of the workers I imagine the manager was in a very bad mood and spoke to me badly in front of people. Terrible place you should be happier it's not my fault you don't like your job !!!!! I'm the gain lady

Well, the store is convenient to my house, but this morning Customer Service went to the toilet. They don’t have clothes! Is what I was told even though I was in the T-shirt and socks. All I asked was a size thing. And then I was rudely told Dollar general doesn’t sell any clothes. SMH! It’s a shame people hate their jobs so much! They don’t even wanna help the customer

Always find what I need, great staff. 3 stars because digital coupons are a nuisance, just going in to buy something simple and I have to have another app. Secondly, honor the shelf price, and stock accurately. Shouldn’t have to negotiate, yes some items can be placed even by customers in the wrong place. But when all of say storage containers are visible and the price clearly marked? Honor the price and remove the incorrect tag.

Absolutely the worst and rudest employees i have run across at a dollar general. Completely ignored me while I was at the register even though 2 employees were behind the checkout I had to wait several minutes before anyone even started to ring me up. Then they didn't say anything at me at all and just kept on with whatever conversation they were having . I mean really how hard is it to acknowledge a customer and say a couple words to them, especially after they have spoken first. They not only ignored me but when I brought it up they just kept doing so. They really need to train their employees bette or get better ones. Some people just have no business working retail

Wow, I have just witnessed the most unprofessional disrespectful act on a customer that was trying to use the self check out. First she had a coupon which the system does not tell us that you cannot use a coupon so once she entered her coupon it prompt her to wait for assistant, well we waited for a while we looked at each other we said do you think somebody’s coming so high? The quiet person that I am yelled out for the associate she yells out you need some help the young lady in front of me responded. The system says that you have to assist me so when she came to the assistance, she told the customer you can’t use the coupon here in a matter of fact, tone is, if the customer should’ve known this. She says you’ll have to check out at the regular checkout and the customer stated there was no one there, so I started to check out here. It was just an ugly ugly communication to a customer.

Don't drop off FedEx packages here. Dropped off two packages, one never scanned in and FedEx never received. The other was an empty box received by the recipient. Very disappointed. I will now have to drive further due to theft by Dollar General employees.

I live very close to this dollar general so I come here quite often and they have an awesome selection at low prices and a great staff. This dollar general has everything; fresh fruit and produce, frozen goods, canned foods, snack foods, electronics, toiletries and makeup, even cigarettes. I will continue to visit this store often.

Friendly staff and prices are always good! Store changes and rotates stock for a fresh appearance. Eggs use to be so cheap, not anymore. Items waiting to be stocked are always laying around but still a go-to store for small pick ups

It has a good selection of food. Has a new remodel that added a lot of refrigerated and frozen foods. Biggest problem is they always only have one cashier and you can sometimes wait 10 minutes in line. There are times the store looks wiped out and a lot of empty spaces on the shelves.

It's very convenient to swing by here and pick up something quick. The store is kept in order and always clean. The staff are helpful but often busy as this location sees a lot of traffic so be patient if you need help as they seem over-worked.

I never leave bad reviews but this is the worst customer service I have ever gotten at a dollar general ever. Rather drive further to a different store than to be treated the way I was treated today. They don’t want to do their job and give customers attitude.

Thank god for the "remodel". This store was getting to be one of the trashiest Dollar Generals I have been too. With some rearranging, new products and paint it really helped this place. 50-50 on customer service some of the girls are wonderful, others not so much.

I was very impressed with this store! I hadn't been to this location for about two years. I had been going to the one on Goforth because I thought this Dollar General was going to be like the other but I was wrong! Its like a mini grocery store. Love that they have soy milk!

If it were possible to rate this store at zero stars I would easily do so. The store manager is incredibly rude and argumentative towards customers as well as his employees. The stores policies are not enforced and coupons are often not validated. Horrible experiences on more than one occasion.

Awful. The store manager, Melody, is rude and has a horrific attitude. I have been buying bleach for a nonprofit right across the street for over a year now. I've always been met with great, nice employees until I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with their manager. She happily proclaimed that I was unable to use our nonprofit tax ID, which I had used multiple times. She was so happy when I asked to speak to a manager, and letting me know it was her. Will not be back, and thanks for absolutely NOT helping your local animal shelter. Awful.

This store has been without Air Conditioning since the beginning of the Summer. I usually shop there at least 3 to 4 times per week, but have decided that I will no longer be doing so because management says they are not going to fix it till next Summer. It is absolutely miserable in that store. I can't believe that the employees have remained working there. Dollar General is a large business and should be able to fix the issue without any problems. Why they have chose not to, is beyond me..

Manager is obviously hiring her drug addict friends she lets new employee tell her what to do in front of customers. Lets not overlook the fact that new shift manager Janie, will lie about sale items just so she doesn't have to verify or go out of her way To make sure you got the price you should. Also zero knowledge about coupons and on the phone texting while checking customers out. I won't return to this store while that cow is working. Needs to wash her shirts more often too!

Bathroom always out of order apparently!? Store is cluttered with boxes of stuff in the aisles. I only go there if I don't feel like going a little farther up the street to a better store.

My favorite store, and I love these women they always, call me by name, well one I shop here at least 3 to 4 times a week, friendly staff!!! These women deserve a raise lol... 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Air Conditioning is often broken/not running. Clearance/sale items are rarely priced - must ask for a price check w clerk giving you the feeling that you're a bother. Slow checkout service, I was in there on several different occasions, there were at LEAST 7-8 people in line w one cash register open. I commented to the cashier that they needed another cashier, and his response was "oh she's here, she's just on break" ..!?!? Are you kidding me!? Of course these are always the times the AC isn't working/turned on. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!

There is really nothing budget oriented about dollar general. Most of their products are more expensive than heb, Walmart or poco loco. As an example, avocados are $1.25 each. Heb has them for 2x$0.85 and poco loco has them for 4x$1.There is a convenience of having them near hy and there is rarely a line. They should change their name though.
