They were very and allowed us to help interact with our fluff to keep her calm. Our dog is very scared of new people touching her especially if we are not with her so it was nice they let us help hold her while she was treated. Also the rooms are very nice and very large which we liked. Staff was very clear and informative with what they needed and did call to follow up on the progress a few days later.

Awful place!!!!! I am only giving them one star because of the groomer Teresa. She is the ONLY good thing about this place! My dog passed away a few years ago and after repeated calls to remove her from the mailing list they finally did,but I still get emails. Also, my father, who is a disabled Vietnam veteran and on a very fixed income, he was charged $700 for an X-ray and inhouse tests to tell him his dog was dying. Granted, that did include a couple of cans of their special food, there is no way he should have been charged that! There's much more I could share but won't waste anymore of my time.

A good friend of ours recommended this vet, and we are so happy she did. Our dog was feeling sick, and they took care of him right away. Super easy to make an appointment, and they have a great app as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable.We will be taking our pup to her regularly.

My personal experience here was hands down exceptional. I had brought a puppy in that had a huge bite taken out of his neck, and even though I was an emotional wreck the staff was supportive, kind and comforting. They walked me through every step of the process for recovery. Updated me after surgery, and kept in contact the whole time with payment adjustments. Every person I came in contact with was personable and understanding. They worked quickly to get this pup the attention and care he needed. Every one of these ladies were blessings to not just my family but to this sweet little puppy as well. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts!

I would 10000/10 recommend this vet. 2 years ago my cat got diagnosed with stomatitis (gum disease) and since then we’ve seen 3 vets before finding this place. Not once was stomatitis explained to me or the options to treat it. Every vet at precious locations came in trusted the diagnosis gave my cat steroids and antibiotics then sent me to the front to pay.I wanted to get another opinion and by “chance” the new vet I called was booked and recommended Krum veterinary hospital and they got me in the next day. It was absolutely a blessing. When I came in with my cat they actually asked questions and took notes as I explained his history and what was happening. They weren’t rushing to push us out. They heard me out, fully looked at my cat, checked his weight, his heart, his lungs and records which none of the other vets did. They told me all of their concerns and asked my opinion. They stayed in the room with me and heard me out while also telling me all of the options. They gave me break downs of the price for the blood work and procedures my cat needed. They gave me resources and wanted to genuinely help my cat. I came back for my cat to get blood work to rule out leukemia and other blood born pathogens and it was going to be expensive so they helped me rule out what we could get away with not testing at the beginning while focusing on the test that really mattered. The blood work took longer than I expected but the tech came in and gave me updates throughout the process so I wouldn’t stress. In just the two visits I’ve been there I can tell they genuinely care and will do everything they can to help. They genuinely care about the pets and families that come through their front doors and take time to hear you and aren’t just trying to get you in and out to get paid. If you’re looking for a new vet go see them. You won’t regret it.

My husband and I never have good experiences here. I’m not the type to leave bad reviews on any business but this place definitely deserves one. The front desk lady is always rude and they’re WAY overpriced and always trying to add more unnecessary things to the bill. I would definitely recommend going to the Denton animal hospital on university right next door to the catch. Super friendly people, fast service and very reasonable prices. Krum vet was going to charge me $1000 in total for both of my dogs to get treated for kennel cough and we only ended up spending $230 at Denton hospital for both dogs total!

We just moved to the area and finding a vet is always a challenge! Trusting someone with your fur baby is tough. I felt comfortable at Krum Vet from the moment I walked in. The practice is clean, comfortable, and inviting. The staff from reception, to techs was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Raegan loved the staff and tried to lick them to death ;) They were efficient in getting to the bottom of her issues and had great solutions. I am confident we will spend many years visiting Dr. Lee! Thanks for the amazing first visit and Rae will be back to slob y'all soon

Always get us in quickly. They appear to care about our fur babies. I recommend them especially if you are in the Krum area. I think they are a little high in prices but you don't have to drive into Denton or Sanger so it is a trade off.

Being a former Animal Control Officer, I have seen a lot of veterinary clinics. I can say this is one of the best places to bring your fur babies. Staff is great and the doctor is very knowledgeable. Rates are very reasonable. The facilities are kept clean and there are no lingering pet odors. They also offer boarding as well. They have far exceeded my expectations for service.

Oh man where to begin... Always excellent service, they are very involved, do constant follow-ups to make sure ur animal is ok, and they do not get upset if a reschedule is required. That's just the appetizer... My dog for some reason gave off MULTIPLE false readings on a test. Instead of just saying she was ok they tested her over and over again for FREE to make sure she was ok. The most recent test they made a personal house call to my home so my dog could be tested in comfort. What else could they do to make it better you ask? Oh I will tell u. The entire time they apologized to me while they were most likely losing money by giving so many free tests JUST to make sure my dog was ok and in good health... Best vet service I've seen in 30 years thanks so much!!!P.s. I really appreciate the complimentary certificate of braveness and teddy bear you sent her home with after the spay.This clinic is in there like swimwear!

Dr. Lee and her staff are kind, caring and compassionate. They always go above and beyond for our dogs. Among our family we have 6 small dogs who all see Dr. Lee. We have been through a complicated snake bite, 2 dachshund back issues and heartworm treatment for a rescue. She recently helped us make the tough quality of life decision about our 17 year old much loved dog. When the time came, Dr. Lee and her staff were so kind and gentle with our sweet old girl, and patient and kind with me. We highly recommend Krum Veterinary Hospital for your pets.

Dr. Lee is literally the only person our animals will see! She did a life saving surgery & amputation on my sweet little gypsy cat years ago, and we have gone back since. I even made the trip from New Mexico where we were living so she could see our cat Canton Ray. I don’t trust anyone else with them! She doesn’t do anything unnecessary and is only doing what is in the best interest of your animal EVERY SINGLE TIME. Our cat Canton has asthma and had a severe attack a few months ago & I walked in without calling in tears and they took Canton back without hesitation & Dr. Lee got to work on him. Mind you it was her surgery day & had a crammed packed schedule. Our in laws found out that their dog had cancer and when it was time to let go Dr. Lee cried with our family. How special is that? This woman does her job with nothing but love and kindness in her heart & that is what sets her apart! We are so thankful we found her many many many years ago & if you need a sign to take your fur baby there, let this be one.

I have been disappointed with the Vet I was using; and, my parents reccomended theirs. I am beyond happy I switched to Krum Veterinary. They were able to schedule me the next week. They happily answered all my questions over the phone and during our visit. My lil guy was very comfortable there, the staff is outstanding! They also provide options for treatment plan and do not push you to spend money on unnecessary costs. I highly recommend this office!!

After speaking with Dr. Joy and meeting with Dr. Jennifer Ennis Lee about the continued care of my pets I decided to stay on as a client after the sale of Krum Veterinary Hospital to Dr. Lee. I can tell you that I have not been disappointed with the care of my pets and have always had a positive experience with both Dr. Lee and her staff. I have two geriatric dogs and two cats. They have a variety of health issues. The dogs require continue care, prescription medications, and special food. Dr. Lee and her staff have given, and always give, exceptional and compassionate patient care. As prices continue to increase in the pharmaceutical and medical establishment, Dr. Lee will go out of her way to find you less expensive alternatives and comparable medications, if available. There has never been a time when I have left feeling like enough had not been done to help my pets continue a happy and enjoyable life.Dr. Lee and her staff take patient care very seriously. If for some reason your pet needs a special surgery or critical care they cannot provide, they will go out of their way to find you that perfect veterinarian specialist or veterinarian facility that can assist you and your pet. She is experienced and will personalize the groom for you if you request it. We have been to Krum Veterinary Hospital for our dog Napoleon a couple of times and will continue to do so. The staff is really sweet and accommodating; they have always gotten us in quickly, and you can tell they care about animals.Dr. Lee is very sweet with him and I feel he is in good hands. I also like how they are up front about pricing and will give you an itemized list prior to procedures so you know what to expect.

Our canines have been patrons of Dr. Ennis-Lee and staff's Krum Veterinary Hospital since December 2013. We brought our Texas born and bred cocker spaniel mixes to be groomed, vaccinated, teeth cleaned, and treated through their good times and end games. It is never easy to tell owners that their pets have cancer and discuss the options. For us and this little girl, it was more than one surgery because she never knew she had cancer. She came back each time and truly lived all the days of her life. Dr. Lee and her staff get ever better and more compassionate. You get what you pay for in doggie dividends, and we know personally two other families whose canines owe their very lives to Dr. Lee under very traumatic circumstances where skill made the difference.We have adopted two new doggies recently and they are Krum Vet patrons already. They look (semi) forward to sniffing out the new digs.

The one time I was there, I got fed up with their hardcore selling tactics and unnecessary tests. Sold me a pack of skin health support which is still sitting in my storage because it immediately sickens my dog’s stomach. They’ve incorrectly measured the weight and gave me a wrong (simperica trio) prescription for which I had to call and argue to make it right (10 days later) I bought it from chewy. So bye bye KVH

Dr. Joy was a wonderful doctor, however towards the beginning of 2012 Dr. Joy sold the practice to to Dr. Jennifer Ennis-Lee, since the new doctor has taken over there has been some major changes. It is obviously all about the money, every time you go in there something else is wrong with your animal that will cost hundreds of dollars to fix. Also the doctor will not let you buy heart worm prevention through a online pharmacy, she wants you to come in and pay more. There has been a ton of employee turnover since she took over. I have personally heard the doctor talking badly to her staff multiple times. Friends of my husband and I told us that a kennel employee admitted to them that the doctor struck their animal "because it would not calm down". I could go on and on with stories I have heard or witnessed in this animal hospital. If it was still Dr. Joy and the new staff I would rate it excellent, but as long as the new doctor is in charge I feel that she will continue to abuse the people in Krum, Texas trust. If something has happened to you here I want to encourage you to speak up. Leave a review so others will not be hurt as well.
