I've been coming here for over 15 years so I'm used to the fact it's usually not a spotless clean restaurant, in fact it's usually on the not clean side. But the food is great! It's DQ!! Very disappointing tonight. No other customers in the store, but it took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge us! After the cook hollard for someone she sauntered around to the counter, dirty fingernails and all. I asked about the fish sandwich and she had no answers. Finally she says (after studying the menu board) it comes with tartar sauce. I asked to add cheese. We went to fill the drinks..no tea!!When the food showed up, the sandwich was a disappointment. Made with cheese and lettuce and tomato and tartar sauce (thankful the cook knew how they are made) it included a tiny fish nugget!! Half the sandwich was wish fish! Meaning the fish was missing in half the bites. The part with the fish was great! It would be nice if it fit the bun!! Will I be back, sure! Will I order fish again, probably, but I will have them add a second piece.

This is the second (and FINAL) time I’ll go to Dairy Queen in Kountze. There are too many immature kids that can simply NOT make an order properly. I asked for a double meat burger WITHOUT CHEESE. I hate that the owner will be losing business because I’m certain I’m not the only one disappointed.

My husband and I drove through after picking up son. I'm very disappointed with the establishment. Almost all tables were filthy and the floor was even worse. Food and crumbs, trash. I used the restroom and wow is all I can say. Having to sit sideways and well let's just say it is very tight fitting. I'm very surprised it was approved seeing the lack of handicap accommodations. A non handicap can barely fit.It was very hard for me to walk through the restaurant, I have a bad knee and taking it very slow so I didn't slip on the crumbs that were all over the floor. I tried joking, smiling at the employee at register and didn't even get a smile. Needs a lot of work that place. There were no other customers so there was no reason or excuse not to clean.

Ice cream Is always good for the kids we enjoyed it.The experience with the food quality was disappointing and cold. My burger practically fell apart, it was put together without care. Our steak finger basket was given to us cold,... you know it was not fresh, it was just pulled off the warmer..All the French fries - just cold, takes no more than 4mins to cook..Ice cream was good however, at least that was cold. ..

Old store, but the friendliest folks. No complaints. I had the deluxe Nachos . As a fast food place I would go here instead of the Sonic next door.

Order the dude combo at the drive thru, pull to the front n they bring ur meal to you....once again the fries were old n barely warm...drove back thru the drive thru n ask for fresh fries n what did I get the same fries heated up by microwave or dipped in hot grease...n still the fries were barely hot....the dude, the only thing fresh on that burger was the tomato n lettuce....This is not the first time I have gotten barely warm fries n old burger....nobody goes the extra mile there that I have experienced at this location....I'm not sure why they r still in business to be honest...that is my last time I'm spending my money there....

My husband and I stopped at DQ while traveling through kountze TX...we are both impressed. That was the first time in a long time that our order was perfect just as we ordered it. Our food was fresh and delicious. That was the BEST taco salad I've had in years. Thank you gentlemen

I ordered extra crispy steakfingers. When I got them they were so flimsy you could use them for a fan. The chicken fingers were horrible . And sometimes not all of the time they employees are very rude. The only thing there so far is their ice cream as always. But the food was so bad for a $26 order ended up going to my dog.

Used the drive thru. Clearly the woman working didn't want to be there. Pull up to the speaker no greeting other than yes... when I completed my order pull around. The window experience was no better. Overheard the next interaction and it was the exact same greeting yes....so sorry but next time I will probably keep driving.

The steak fingers were plain ground beef, almost all breading and practically no meat. Couldn't even taste the meat. Where's the beef?!?! Inside of the restaurant was a little old and kind of plain, nothing special. The guy at the counter seemed kind of strange, totally did not give great customer service. I say, try the Sonic next door!

First time. Ordered to to. Was asked to pull around to the front. I had a double combo order, while waiting I started reading reviews. Some not gud, Some great 👍 I choose mine to be great. When I got home, man whata triple!! My wife had da chicken strips. We we're both very 😊

I'm not one to complain but...when I brought my food home which I am only about six minutes away it was very cold. The hot dogs seemed like they just were taken out of the icebox. The grilled chicken sandwich was just as cold. For $14.00 it sure wasn't worth it. I try to support a local business but do not believe I will ever go back to this establishment.

Ordered a hunger buster at the drive threw, had to wait on the frys which is ok . I ordered my burger with mystard ,pickles and lettuce only. Nothing hard to make. The burger i got had been made all the way with mayonaise and catsup. They just scapped off the toopings an squirted a ton of mustard on it an wrapped it up. Might be other tbings on it too ,as i was in my uniform. Never going back thats for sure

Waited in drive thru tonight over 45 mins. It’s completely unacceptable for being a “fast food” restaurant… completely under staffed for a Friday night… food was good but wouldn’t recommend unless you have the time to wait… there was only three cars ahead of us 😡😡😡

I am not the one to usually write reviews but wow I don’t think I can express how bad this place is. The staff consisted of 3 people at 7:00 that evening for starters and one constantly smoked. The food was horrible. I was hungry after a long day and could only eat half of that so called “burger.” (It was burnt and thrown together) The place was absolutely filthy and the workers just stood around mostly. I hope this helped someone decide to go somewhere else because anywhere was better than there.

I gave up on this Dairy Queen awhile back. The food was constantly terrible. 07/03)21 I went in at 4:30pm and got great service. The food was the best DQ I've ever had. The fries were fresh and the burger was excellent.
