This was some of the best food I have eaten out EVER!! It is worth the drive from the Abilene and surrounding area. Folks make the drive. You will not be disappointed!I had the medium steak fingers, mashed potatoes, and cream gravy w/toast.Hubby had the large steak fingers, hand cut fries, cream gravy, and toast.The steak fingers were perfectly breaded and fried, gravy was so good, and my mashed potatoes were the best I have actually ever had! Baby reds, garlic, seasoned perfectly with cheese melted on top. No need for any gravy! Toast was perfect and had garlic butter!Hubby said the fries were very, very good. Twice fried and not soggy or greasy at all!Ordered the peach cobbler, and let me tell you!! Oh my dear friends! 😵😁 it alone is worth the drive! We didn't add ice cream because we took it to go! It is not your typical peach cobbler! Which makes it a treat! Something new!Bud's Cafe is very cute and quaint. It has recently been redone; there is a gift shop, ice cream, milk shake, and desert counter where you place your order. Then, there is the dining room and top rated bathrooms by Knox City!

Super cute sandwich shop, staff was great, food was delicious and made to order. Had the jalapeño lemonade, and it was delicious. Will be coming back to try more of the menu. Fact they accommodate keto diet is awesome too!Dietary restrictions: Will make any sandwich keto friendly at no additional chargeKid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu, it includes pb&j and normal like hot dogs and grilled cheese.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Excellent food and friendly service.- bourbon mushroom & Swiss w/ the most delicious onion rings I've ever had, very tasty breading- Farmhouse Burger w/friesBoth were very filling and satisfying. One of the best burgers I've had! the ladies there had great customer service and such positive attitudes. Not only was the food great but they had such a great atmosphere to dine in and the bathrooms made you feel right at home! I highly recommend grabbing a bite here and checking out the gift shop.

Super cute little Cafe, food was amazing and delicious. Had amazing jalapeño lemonade that was homemade. Staff was awesome, super friendly and knew alot about the area! This place is out of control. A little small town that has been there for decades. Great blend of old school seasoning and a killer new menu. Pristine and updated with amazing food.Burger enthusiasts are highly recommended to seek this place out! I can't even imagine how packed this place is the Friday Night Lights season.

We had catfish dinners, the special. I left a more than 20% tip for food we had to go get ourselves in a different room from where we were seated. I asked for 2 extra (small) containers of tartar sauce. I waited about 4 minutes until a lady finally brought them to me and said, “That will be $1.17.” I could not believe it! I started to tell her to take it from my generous tip. But didn’t. She didn’t have the courtesy to tell me first that there would be an additional cost. The catfish was more breading than fish. Second (and last time) I’ll go there.

Went back today and it was terrible. We waited probably 10 minutes for a table and it wasn't even clean when we sat down.Then it took well over an hour to get our food. The waitress never came back to check on us until she brought our food late and then two meals were forgotten and it took another person on staff to ask if we were ok to actually get the last two meals. At checkout we were charged full price even after I told her we should have had some kind of discount for the long wait. She said" I'm sorry about that"We will not go back!!

Buds has always been a little high but you got good food. Tonight we were there and I got hamburger steak wife got shrimp basket,we're on a diet so wife ask if she could sub okra instead of fries girl said sure I said do me the same she said sure. She went of listening to her phone loud enough I could hear it. Then she never look at us again so we ask about salad bowl she said that's 1,99 extra for plate never had been before but I guess they changed policy on that but my tea glad was empty which is now 2 bucks for tea we ate and went today out the sub we got a share on was now a extra 2:50 wife questiion that and was told okra cost more than potato's. So I will not be back

Stopped here on our way to a football game. My husband got the all you can eat catfish and I got the chicken fried steak. The cfs was fresh and delicious! The portions were huge!! Hope we will make it back this way to stop again!!

Always great food and service whenever we come to Knox City. Steaks are seasoned well and cooked to order. The weekend specials are also a great value with the amount of portions for the price.

Hadn't eaten there in a few years. Seemed like it had slipped a bit, and had gone to a lunch only format but with menus that advertised dinner specials. Still, service was solid and food was about as good as you can find in town.

Burnt hamburger and very high priced. Server was rude about us sitting at a dirty table, but there wasn't a clean one. I don't think I will be going back. This place used to be awesome, but it's not anymore.
