Terrible place to go especially around 5:00 don't go the lines are entirely too long store is always dirty most of the time items are still on cards in the middle of the aisle so you can't go down the aisles in a wheelchair or even a walker to get to the things you need they really really really really need to hire more people at a time they put too much on their employees they often leave one employee to stock and do the register which causes thefts and slower service employees do their best with the situations always polite

09/06/2023 dear cashier John, my mentally ill sister went in to make a purchase & you literally asked her to leave the store cause she was going to pay with change ,, horrible , and despicable, my sister is in a group home and wins money playing bingo and this was the only form of money sheever carrying, ,, shame on your actions she didn't not understand why you turned her down... her money was nicely sorted and counted separated into groups she spent all day doing so ... no more words for you John. I will be talking g with corporate and your managermade me sick

Sarah extremely rude... rolled her eyes and left the building when these young girls didn't have enough money to pay for there items and told them they better not leave in a rude manner... if that wasn't bad enough she left the lady there who was which new to the job -review written on 12/19/22 around 8pm- which was the date and time this incident occurred

This store is in complete disarray. Unsure of the status of employee’s but I would immediately seek out new management because they clearly have no business handling the logistics of a small consumer store. The amount of products stacked in cages and boxes among the aisles has clearly created a significant fire hazard, yet they have been unable to resolve this issue for weeks. Extremely disappointed as this is one of three stores available for this type of merchandise in Kingsland. Management is failing, I would gladly take over for 100k a year with bonus with a guarantee that I would save this store from it’s guaranteed future demise.

First off this site says the store is open and it is not! It has not been opened past 5pm for at least 4 days now. This store is the worst they are always closing early they never have the store stocked and I don't know how Dollar General hasn't closed it down, I went in there yesterday and there was six different Dollar General employees there working and they still are telling everybody they have to close at 5:00 that trucks just keep coming in. the Dollar General in Buchanan dam is open until 10:00 now how is it the Dollar Generals in Marble Falls and Buchanan Dam can stay open until 10:00?? I cannot be the only person that sees how bad this store is and it should be shut down. Or have a big boss come in there and hire an entire new crew. Tere is a huge problem in this store that Marble falls and Buchanan dam just don't seem to have.

I really loved this store at one time and the past 6 months it has gone down hill sadly. Very dirty and unorganized as well as long lines constantly, guessing short staffed. Sadly I make a longer trip to the Buchanan Dam store now only because it is so much cleaner . Hope this changes soon. Oh not to mention the hours say till 10pm and that’s a rare occasion! It should say till? Because they close early all the time. The other day I was locked out as I was walking up to the door at 9pm. Two weeks ago it was 8. This is not cool for us patrons that have two places to go in this town! Something needs to be done.

Don't ask for supervisor to the employees. On thanksgiving day I bought couple of stuff with 53.30. I had paid 40 out of my PayPal card and, when it was time to pay with my other card. I notice my card was declining due to my account has been compromised. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to call my bank on thanksgiving day. I asked the women the stuff I just bought can be credited into Dollar General card. She seems very put out to help and, told me She is suspended the transaction. There’s nothing I could do about it since I didn’t have the money. She had told me that I need to leave the store. I asked for a receipt but the employee was hesitated by giving me one. Which I don’t appreciate at all.She had Poor attitude and extremely rude. If you are going to make rude comments, make sure you don't make them where the customer can hear you as well. So I call my bank and they told me their is no refund pending and, pretty much states I paid 40 at dollars general. So I need to know how do I get my $40 refund back from Dollar General. I’ve been trying to contact the supervisor and every time I try to contact them that employees ignores or tells me The supervisors busy to talk to me. For 10 years I have work for customer service never have I ever Mistreated any of my members. It may be only $40 but is simple fact I left with nothing. how can I address this issue with Management.

Very very disorganized, it was delivery day, but store was not cleaned from day/days before.Every isle had trash or merchandise on the floor. Several isles had 2 or more dollies stacked with merchandise and only one person putting up stock.It was 9am and one cashier had to take a break or something.This store is in need of some serious help.

Depending on the day it seems it will either be a disaster to try to get a cart down their lanes and finding items you need that are often not where they are suppossrd to be to find the accurate price. I don't mean to be harsh but nobody wants to work at Dollar general anymore.. so often the will have to close randomly because they don't have the staff to keep the place open on a regular schedule. This is the first D.G. I'd ever seen have to close so often because it's such a short handed stressful job, to most people that want to keep their sanity.. never enough hands to check out customers as well as put restock continuously as well as clear the isles from messes.. last visit seemed much better but it's a toss up sometimes.. hope to see it moving in the right direction with keeping the doors open and treating their employees better and make them feel appreciated.

This DG in Kingsland is very clean, organized, and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful with a great attitude. They stayed open for business during the Apocalyptic Polar Vortex Freeze Out of Feb 2021. Life Savers!

This Dollar General is in Lakehills Texas. It opens at 8 am and closes at 9:00 pm. It is usually run by a 2 person team. This little store is very busy. It is generally very well kept up as long as the employees show up. With just 2 people it is hard to manage a business very effectively. There are trucks coming in that need to be off loaded and then merchandise put out on the store shelves. With limited options for merchandizing the crew does the best they can. I personally think they should hire a night stocker and free up the day crew to take better care of their customers. These people work very hard but I personally see the manager needs to re-evaluate their team members working schedules. Time is money! You can’t expect these workers to run around doing price checks, stocking, answering the phone, offloading trucks, placing orders for merchandise, and keep the building and parking lot clean too!! This is ridiculous!!!

This guy has been working here for a couple months. About a month ago I went in there and was doing a transaction the dude behind the counter processed my card turn around and walked away from the register. I figured transaction was finished so I gathered my newly purchased belongings and left to be chased down in the parking lot buy this dude saying I was stealing. I've never been so embarrassed in all my life. He told me that the transaction was not complete even though he left his station to go visit with someone else. That was the first moron alert. So I have this one bill that I pay with a prepaid credit card I go in there to get them to put money on the card for me he's too busy yappin on his cell phone with his buddy talking about what they're going to do when he gets off work. Trying to get my card to work he decides that it's my cards fault not his so yes I was kind of rude to him snatch my money and walked out the door. With him saying to me you don't have to be so rude I said you listen here you sob you're the one that's rude and socially unacceptable. That was my second and final moron alert . I will never return there. 5 minutes down the street I walked into Family Dollar a couple minutes later I was out with my money on my card with no problems.

Just needed to get a quick pack of smokes and this dollar general is the only one that carrys them. But when I ran out, I made it to the DG by 9:51pm, and they locked their doors already. This happens multiple times and seems to be o the nights when I'm tied up and cant make it. Which I believe they are supposed to lock up AT 10PM. Family dollar, they do it right.

Good place to get things you need with out the hassle of a million other customers at heb. That's if they don't close early. Three times in the last two weeks I have gone up there and they have the doors locked by 9:30pm. 10/19/2021

Went in today to the Dollar General in Llano, TX to get articles to donate to the refugees at Inks Lake. A sales associate named Jeramiah assisted me. He was a God send. He helped me and assisted me with my shopping efforts and bent over backwards to do so. Way to go Jeramiah, Jesup loves you.

The sign on the door says masks required for all customers and yet they let people in without those masks and tell me that Dollar General will not let them enforce it
