Y'all! If you love animals, don't hesitate to book a Cuddle Cabin experience! Our family of four (19 & 20yo "kids") had SOOO much fun with the Jumpers! Smiles and laughs all around as we learned about, snuggled, & played with these amazing babies! It will certainly be an experience we remember for a long time!

5 STARS!!! Philly the Hedgehog. Honestly so hassle free and great experience. They were very friendly and answered any and all questions I had with very precise explanations. They even spent time to insure I knew how to properly handle my little pokey friend and understand what he likes and doesn’t like (very personalized to the pet). I couldn’t recommend them enough if your looking for an new exotic best friend.

Stumbled across this place while looking for Kinkajous! Our son is obsessed and we were so excited to find a place so close to San Antonio that offered such a cool experience! I highly suggest anyone with kids that love baby animals to book a session at the Cuddle Cabin! The kids, and us parents, had such an amazing time and cannot wait to come back! Hello, fellow animal lover here. I came here for my birthday and my family enjoyed it as much as I did. We got to see chinchillas, kangaroos, southern flying squirrels, and my family's favorite the Bush baby. All the animals were docile and well taken care of. 10/10

This was my first time to an exotic animal ranch with a heavy focus on interaction. (Feeding, petting, interacting in the same pen) The guide was amazing! She did great reading the kids as well as adults and adapting the tour as needed to make sure everyone had a truly amazing experience. The tour was around 2 hours long, however never once was anyone bored or feeling rushed. The balance was perfect. The owners and staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome . The staff was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the animals. Everything from where they come from, how they interact in the wild to what they eat and the dangers they are facing in regards to extinction. I would recommend this tour to any age !The cuddle Cabin was an awesome opportunity to meet some of the youngest animals at the ranch. If the cabin is an option I highly recommend especially for children!

Janda offers a unique and wonderful experience with their tours and cuddle cabin. We saw, interacted with and even touched many animals that most people don’t even get to see during their lifetimes, and that on it’s own was worth the price. Drue was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide and you can tell she loves what she does. All the animals are happy and very well cared for as well. It’s truly an amazing place and the price of admission is worth it for such a great experience, unlike anywhere else in the region.

What an amazing experience! I surprised my daughter with a birthday gift of tour and cuddle cabin. Worth every single penny! Definitely memories we will not forget! Liz was our guide. She was super friendly,full of knowledge and answers and even kept my head in tact as I was on animal loving overload. She took pictures for us and reminded me to take pictures as we were caught up in the moment. She made us comfortable and made it fun for us,not that you couldnt have a grand ol time anyways. The animals were all super friendly and gentle. We had the opportunity to bottle feed a calf,kangaroo and antelope. And feed so many more! We cant wait to do this again!! Thank you for helping create memories for us. See yall again soon!

Had a great experience. My daughter wanted a hedgehog. She did all the research and found this place. We drove from Dallas. Appointment went well. The lady there was very helpful and nice. It was a great experience for my daughter. She is now enjoying having a hedgehog as a pet

Multiply my 5 stars by 10. The cuddle cabin was an amazing experience for my daughter and granddaughter. Ashley was a wonderful host and genuinely kind person. Jason and Tabitha were so sweet and helpful (-:. The girls learned so much. We got to "cuddle" with some very unique animals and see several more on tour. I definitely recommend.

I had wanted to adopt a hedgehog, but living in Dallas there were no USDA licensed breeders nearby. I decided to go to Janda because they are the closest and I am incredibly glad I did. The facility is incredibly well kept and all of their animals look happy and healthy. Both Jason and Ashley are full of animal knowledge and will guide you to the right choice no matter what. I didn't feel rushed or coerced and I am happy to say I adopted a sweet 8 week old hedgehog from them. They gave me all the information I would need and made the process incredibly painless. My hedgehog isn't scared of any contact from me and is exactly what I was looking for. I will 100% recommend that anyone within driving distance go to Janda for their hedgehog or other exotic pet!

We bought our sugar glider (Waldo) from here and we couldn’t be more happy with him! Tabitha was excellent in explaining everything and answering questions when we picked him up. We definitely recommend buying your sugar glider here vs other exotic pet stores! I bought my other glider that I have now from S & S in Houston (2 years ago), and Janda is way better… by far!When the time comes (and my husband lets me), we will be back to buy our hedge hog. 🙃😊

I first found Janda Exotics about a year ago when (after a ton of research) I chose to purchase my 3 sugar gliders from them. I fell in love with my babies immediately. They were clearly hand raised and very loved. I then followed Janda on Facebook and most recently even applied for a job. I have been a zoo aide for a couple of weeks now and can say with full certainty that I picked the best place to purchase my suggies from. Everything done at Janda is done with knowledge, love and a ton of hard work.

My husband and I took booked appointments for the cuddle cabin for us and our 7 year old daughter and it was phenomenal. The place is unassuming when you drive up, because it is a working animal farm, yet my daughter said her experience was better than any zoo we have visited. We had a one hour personalized experience with various exotic baby animals during which the owner, Ashley, shared information about the animals, how to hold them, what they eat, etc. We got to hold and pet the babies. Our daughter still can't stop talking about how she loved it there and wants to go back and visit again. You can tell the owners love their animals and take great care with them and Ashley patiently worked with us on how to properly hold the babies. It was well worth the money to have a the cuddle cabin experience and one our daughter will not forget. We highly recommend experiencing this place!

Love this place! We've been in the cuddle cabin twice now and couldn't be happier. If you want to spend time with exotic babies that you can hold and pet, then this is the place to go. Yesterday we spent time with a baby Chinchilla, Bush Baby, Fennec Fox and a Kangaroo. So very awesome and they were the most loveable and calm animals.

5 star experience for sure from the very first phone call until the day we came to visit and our daughter picked out her very own hedgehog. Ashley is so friendly, patient, knowledgeable and truly cares about your time with them at the ranch. She ensures you are comfortable in all aspects of owning a hedgehog before leaving. The set up they have for hedgehog visiting is so perfect and welcoming. They have all the supplies you would need to get completely set up but by no means they don’t push you to get. BUT they have super cute carry pouches and sleep sacks so why wouldn’t you. I would highly recommend them to everyone who is considering a hedgehog ❤️

Holy snap. I was looking for something unique to take a friend to that was visiting. When we met we bonded over our love of animals. This place was PERFECT.It's gorgeous out there on the ranch, and Ashley was SUCH a sweet and knowledgeable host! She really took her time with us in the Cuddle Cabin, and there was no feeling of being rushed. We got to hold several different types of baby animals, while Ashley explained what goes into their care and answered all of our questions.You can really tell how much love she puts into these animals, they are very well taken care of. There are so many other animals on display as well, not just the Cuddle Cabin babies.All in all, this is about to become a staple experience for any time I have friends/family from out of town. I can't recommend it enough!

We took a private tour for my daughters 10th birthday as a surprise for her! She loves animals and loved every minute of it! My son who is a little more timid also had a great time because the animals are so friendly and sweet! It's obvious the Janda Team really loves all of their animals and they know each fur baby very well! Our tour took about 2 hours with the last part being in the cabin with several baby animals that we got to hold and play with! Great activity for a wide range of ages!!!!

Turns out that our hedgehog came to us horribly infested with mites and must undergo a series of vaccinations at the vet's office. This is the only complaint I have about Janda Exotics. Balti (our hedgehog) had a great personality and you can tell that he was used to being handled, which we are very thankful for!Just a couple notes:-I would order from Janda Exotics again, but I would ask that they first provide a veterinarian's verification that the animal does not have mites or any other sort of parasites.-We also found out that if you have a male hedgehog YOU SHOULD NOT USE WOOD BEDDING no matter the kind of wood (paper only), as the shreds of wood can easily get stuck in a very uncomfortable body part for the little guys and aren't easy to remove. Our hedgehog came with this kind of bedding and a piece of it had to be removed from his nether regions while he was under anesthesia. Putting such a small animal under anesthesia was really scary as they sometimes simply do not wake up after.
