I recently attempted to schedule an appointment for my dogs at Pet Supply Plus, where they have been groomed multiple times. However, I was shocked when they denied my dog who has been there at least 3 times these last few months , they claimed I had an attitude with them after every haircut because I didn't want to commit to bringing my dog in monthly for grooming which to then the groomer told me that it’s the only way for the dog to get used to grooming which I knew and told them I couldn’t do at this time, the groomer told my family that I was always disrespectful to them. This is not only false but also unprofessional as not only did I love the haircuts, but also chatted with them when I came into the store for just regular dog supplies. Additionally, they falsely informed my family that I was dissatisfied with the haircuts they provided for one of our dogs and refused service for one dog but accepted the others. This type of behavior is disappointing and disheartening considering I have had nothing but positive interactions with them.Enjoy some Ms.Peabody pics of the dog they denied, still a puppy meaning she is actually only 7 months and I got her when she was 3 months where she still didn’t start getting groomed until December/January.

So happy to have a PSP in Killeen! I’ve used the dog wash station a handful of times already and it’s always in top shape & clean. The entire store has a fantastic selection of food & treats and always clean. Staff are also super friendly.

The only reason they get two stars is because the store and the staff are wonderful. I find everything I need in this store and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. However the grooming needs improvement. There’s only two people in the grooming salon ( I’ve tried both for my pet) and it’s safe to say neither know what they are doing. I have given the salon 3 chances and this last time was the last straw. My poor baby’s head looked butchered. I had to come home and attempt to fix it. I will continue to shop here but I think I will not bring my dog here for grooming services again.

This is not for the facility but the behavior of a groomer. Today while walking the store I went to check out the grooming salon and saw the groomer and dog pictured below. I watched as this groomer YANKED a comb through this little dog’s hair on their ears. The dog had his head down and was grimacing in pain and even one point started to put their paws up. I went to go find a manager and then I started to hear the dog scream in pain. The dog kept screaming and is now obviously traumatized because when I came back she had given the dog to someone else and the dog was still crying and screaming. I am extremely upset and wish I could find the owner of this dog. DO NOT book with this groomer.

Great store, got a nice 40 gal from here for $70. Almost adopted a bearded dragon (they named him Chester, which seemed like a good sign) but wasn’t able to hold him (I understand not letting kids hold the pets, but adults?) so I ended up not adopting him. They didn’t know anything about him really, birthdate was unknown (he must have came from a mill) and age unknown as well.Not letting me hold him to see his temperament, (probably extremely skittish now) and not knowing his age/birthdate, that’s an easy no from me.

J.D. was awesome! He really knows his stuff, and he helped us make informed decisions for our pets. It even saved us money in the end, and we got better products than what we were buying based on ingredients!I was surprised at how the "high quality" food we were buying had so many by-products! J.D. helped us to find better food and probiotics for our dogs at better prices!I'm happy about the location of this store too, it is only a few minutes from my house! Love it!

I liked the store because the costumer service was nice and they even put the heavy bag of food in my truck.I ditched Petsmart for what I thought was a better option. Big mistake. I tried the grooming service for my chocolate Lab, who's usually chill with groomers and very sweet. But this time, it was a complete nightmare.Got my dog back, and he was a mess—terrified, refusing to eat, and wouldn't even come when called. Ended up rushing him to the vet and shelling out an extra $85, only to find out his tail was hurting badly. What the heck did they do to him? He was a lot of pain and I'm out over $200 because of this disaster. Thought I'd found a new go-to pet store, but after this? Forget it. They've lost a customer for good. Just a heads up to anyone thinking of using their grooming services—think twice. No pet deserves this kind of treatment. Buying stuff in the store its ok but grooming service is a huge NO.

We went to the grand opening to check them out. We found out they were offering a free nail trim while we were there. The associate who answered the phone when we called before hand to see if we needed and appointment also told us about the free nail trim. Great idea to try the service since they are close by. However we quickly found out, so did our poor dog, the lady that was doing it appeared to not know what she was doing. She clipped the nails so close they were bleeding. Though she did put the stop bleed paste on it. Our dog who is one who loves getting her nails done in this case was a wreck. She was trimming the nails from the top while our dogs paw was standing on the table. Some nails she would lift her paw, others she did in this manner. They handed us a paper and said we would not be charged it was just to track the service. We picked up a couple items and when to the front to check out. The lady up front was very pushy on their rewards program and I was not interested after the service my dog got. Then she finally said if you don't want to join the rewards program, you will have to pay for the nails (SURPRISE) so we said that's fine. We paid for everything this time and we wont be back. What a horrible experience.

Just opened! A very nice and knowledgeable staff, the location is sparkling clean and fresh, the fish tanks and aquatic plants are healthy and bristling with life. My new go to place for my cats and fish.

Very disappointed, brought my dogs in to get their nails trimmed, they took care of one dog just fine, but the other dog they only did the back nails, and told me to bring her back another day since she was too squirmy...... Never had a problem with the other 3 businesses that trimmed her nails in the past 2 years, and to just not finish a job, expect me to come back in like it is not a big deal, and charge full price even though they only did half the work. So, brought my dog back as instructed, and they still did a shoddy job and didn't buff the nails even though that is what reminded them I paid for and got no refund. I used to come here and pay their higher prices for the service, but if the service is gonna be bad I'll save money and time and go to the other dog groomers.

On 12/6 they had a sale of pup-peroni dog treats buy two get one free so I bought them for my dogs stockings. I just opened the third bag yesterday and the treats were bad. I took the bag to exchange it but they said it was from 12/6 so I could not. When it is for Christmas and the expiration date says they are still good I would think since for Christmas they would go from Christmas date. That would be the right thing to do. So for now on I'll stick with Chewy, there customer service is great and they put the customer first.

Brought my dog to be groomed for the first time. I do not recommend to take your dog to be groomed here. Groomer was inexperienced and did a cut way too low which was not requested at the time of dropoff. I requested a trim on my collie dog and at pickup my dog was shaved down to her undercoat with uneven shaving and patches of hair gone. Groomer was very unprofessional and rude. She had no patience. The manager was understanding and was able to resolve the problem.

I've been waiting for this place to open and was so excited to go check it out. My stars are based on the store itself, not the staff. I love that they have such a wide variety of pet foods to choose from, especially having breeds of animals that are picky eaters. The prices are pretty good and the sales/coupons are a plus! BUT... other than the lady that I assume was the manager and my buddy from another store in aquatics, I didn't have the same experience as other reviewers. I will be back for sure but I hope that next trip I don't get followed constantly or made to feel uncomfortable. I like to look around and take my time as I get a feel for things. Looking forward to positive experiences in the future🐾💗

Have been here 3 times since this location opened. There is never anyone at the registers, you have to hunt down an employee to get help. Employess always seem bothered when I needed help with something or to check out. 1st time in I was looking for a product I normally get at the Copperas Cove location. The employee who helped me said that the company didn't carry the item, when I explained that the Cove location carries it and would like to get it ordered through the Killeen location they argued with me that the item is not carried by Pet Supply Plus and I must have been going to a different store. On todays trip there I stood at the register for for a while before having to go find an employee to check me out. At the Cove location whenever I buy any heavy item the employees offer to help bring the items to the car, this has never happened at this location

I am sooooo happy this place opened in Killeen right near my house. The store is clean and new the associates are all super nice. Plus I love that I can use my coupons here too. I buy alot of pet food for my TNR cats and my own animals so it's nice to get a discount on the things I already need to buy!

Came here after receiving a coupon in the mail. The store has just about anything you would need for your pets. There prices are the lowest I’ve seen from any pet store I hope they stay that way! Staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Will be returning for future pet needs.

Just had to visit the new location and was very pleased, big, clean, nice selection of fish and at a good price. Best of all are the people that work there, Steven and Laura are great, super nice, and knowledgeable. I definitely will be going back.
