I stopped in today to get my pup a new brand of dog food after learning she had a grain allergy, and was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable of the products, and answered any questions I had. Checkout was smooth and efficient, and I left with a smile on my face. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is great! We love the dog wash for our dogs, big and small. So convenient, and the pups don't freak out, like they do at home. I won't wash them any other way!

Great place. We used the dog wash for the first time. For $14.99, they supply the shampoo, conditioner, towels, and blow dryer. Great deep basins for bigger dogs. We would use it again.

First time visiting this place. When I walked in the store, I was welcomed, but I was not asked if I needed assistance finding anything while shopping in the store. When I was ready to check out it was four employee's standing at the cash register, and they were all looking at me as if they were deciding who was going to check me out, I waited about maybe 5 to 10 minutes as the people that were at the cash registered decide to leave while I was standing there needing to check out. At this point I left my items at the cash register and walked out. No one moment we will be with you or nothing. Please teach your employees customer service. I will spend my money else where

This is supposed to be a place where the workers supposedly care about the well being of animals. I was so wrong. I put in an order for 2 water heaters for my aquariums because there is a freeze coming to TX and it’s around 30 degrees outside right now. The heater in my home is not up to par so I want to at least make sure reptiles/fish are comfortable because they can’t regulate the cold like I can. I would think associates working in an animal store would be aware of how important this is. I put my order in from home to make sure the store didn’t run out as due to the cold weather items like these go fast. And this was an emergency in my own home to have these heaters for my animals so I needed it immediately. I went in and spoke to a manager and let her know that I was there early but it was due to an emergency due to the well being of my animals. Even though the store was almost empty with associates not busy, she disregards what I say and tells me I have to wait up to 2 hours when this item could have been picked right then in there as we were standing across from the isle. Shameful and I’m completely disappointed at their lack of urgency when it comes to animals and their well being.

Yesterday I was driving by so I made a last second decision to swing in to grab a few Merrick Lil Plates and maybe a toy or two. I walked in and was not greeted. I walked towards the toy area and noticed what appeared to be a hot pink urine stained towel on the floor. Decided to skip on toys and just grab the food. I spent a couple minutes making my selections and made my way towards the front. There was a group of at least 5 associates on the opposite side of the register area. Again I was not greeted into the checkout area. I walked towards the area that they were grouped up as a customer walked up and began speaking to one of the associates. I got in line behind the lady and watched as all the other associates dilly dallied around the area. I waited close to two minutes before I said to myself “absolutely not” put the food down and exited. Poor customer service.

I've been a customer at this store for 3 years now and never have I ever been treated so rudely. I had just purchased several fish from them on Sunday. Unfortunately one of em passed away, South American puffer. I brought today with it in a bag. The woman named Stephanie was so dang rude and argued with me about how I needed to have a water sample. Which when I purchased I was never told. She then came and said I should have read there sighn and sarcastically smiled at me. She 1. Didn't even bother looking at the fish, 2. She never made eye contact with me and was continously rude, and didn't even care about the fish. I wasn't even trying to get it replaced I was trying to just get it refunded so I could get crickets. This woman was so rude that me and my wife left and will never be coming back. Again SHE NEVER LOOKED AT THE BAG WITH THE DEAD FISH IN IT.

I thought the location was going to be hectic with traffic but it is easy drive in and out.Very large facility and something for all pets! Great experience, professional staff, they greet you as you walk in the door and ask if you need help finding an item. Store was very clean and they have a very clean dog wash area for your pooch. Cost is $10.00 they provide shampoo, conditioner, apron, towel and dryer.

I love how they have a self service dog wash!! It's convenient I'm tall so bathing my dog 🐕 in the tub is wear and tear on my body. Also the price of dog food is cheaper than most places I shop from

Love coming here to pick up stuff for the doggo & cat, and to ogle at the fish tanks. I’m seriously considering starting a saltwater tank because they always have such beautiful, healthy fish and corals here.

I'm guessing the manager on duty (Hispanic male) was yelling for the black male to come to the register, because I was waiting at the register he eventually rung me up, but it took minutes because he wanted to yell and wait for the other guy. When the black male came upfront he said "where was you at boy". Very inappropriate I could tell the young man was embarrassed. Besides that they have pretty much anything for any animal.

The atmosphere is calm and friendly. They have limited supplies; but, I primarily go there to use the Self-Service Dog-Wash Center. I am able to give Galaxy a massaging bath using their products, towel dry him then use an air blower, and give him a treat..... all for $10 bucks. Galaxy loves it and I don't have dog hair to clean up at home. You can also bring your own supplies (clipper set) and groom your pet there if you want to. Great place to try out.

Nice store and have everything a pet would need, but the welcoming experience wasn't so friendly. I walked around the store, no hi, no welcome, no how's everything, or how can I help you. Both employees walk passed multiple times side by side close to me, no smiles, but spoke to others. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming, so much that I didn't spend any money in the store. I continue to look at everything in the store because i truely wanted to see everything the store offered. Which is sad, because I was truely excited to visit the store, because I do have a pet and want to purchase from the store. Hopefully next time it's a better experience 😕. I rate one star due to customer service.

Fabulous to shop. Even a good place to wash your pet at a good price. Staff is engaged and knowledgeable about products and animals in the store that are for sale. Something to mention is the customer service is a step above other local pet stores. It is definitely worth the drive from my town and they always have cute animals and reptiles to look at. Five stars. A lady spent a great deal of time educating me about my hamster about three weeks ago and I’m so thankful. I’ve been back since and it’s been a good experience and I drive from Salado. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The pet supermarket always comes through when we can't find what we need in Belton. So the drive to Killeen is worth it. The pet bath section is the cutest and very pet friendly.

Okay, I want to lead with normally, this place is awesome. I love coming here for their awesome fish selection and bird supplies. Personally, I’ve had some pretty good experiences.Now, tell me how my mother goes to this store after I told her all this. She wants to get a little chameleon to love on. Her first lizard, a gargoyle gecko she treated like her own baby, just passed not even a few days ago. So she sees there is a chameleon available and gets excited, starts thinking about what she needs, starts getting attached. She gets someone to help her, and he says his coworker has tons of chameleons and is super knowledgeable on them, so she has great advice on care and tips.How is this coworker going to say that this chameleon, who is on display without any sort of notice, is going home with the coworker tonight?I understand, completely, that sometimes people get attached to animals they work with. This is normal, and it’s fine. But to leave the animal in the store’s sales display without a notice, or anything? Was this a spur of the moment decision to take the animal, or does this person just get off on the looks on people’s faces when they’re told no? Honestly, it’s appalling.So, the gentleman helping my mother was clearly not aware of this, there was no posted notice, the animal was still on display.It’s unbelievable.Don’t come here wanting to get an animal- or at least, a chameleon- unless you want to get your heart broken.Picture is of the display, without any sort of notice. My mom sent me this picture to show me she was getting the little thing, before that person decided happiness can’t exist for other people.

The manager was very good with all the information that I need, and I learned a lot about taking care of my fish tank that I didn't know. Very polite, and a very clean place with a fresh smell. Love that store. Thank you so much.

My elderly parent bought a pet ramp too big still in the box. NOT SENIOR ORIENTED. My parent couldn't find the receipt. Store would not take back even for store credit. Ridiculous since other stores locally honor this system. Shame on you Pet supermarket. You're not so super in my book.

Went in for a dog wash paid $17 for a 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner and a spritz. Wasn't explained anything being my first time got asked what smell of shampoo I wanted and then told I was good. Wasn't shown anything after that. People working seemed annoyed that people were there. Not worth the $17.

An African American young man that worked there allowed us to pet the animals that are in the cage The next time a white young lady said that we wasn't able to pet them unless we were going to buy a rabbit
