Excellent service and honest business. My kids and I only go to Pep Boys in Killeen for our cars. After going to different business in the past, I feel that people here are very knowledgeable and care about their customers and our cars. It's sad to say, but I learned more about my car in the last year and half about my car from this people, than in the past several years from other shops.

These people are absolutely TERRIBLE HORRIBLE NO GOOD VERY BAD! Do not waste your time or money. They had my vehicle for TWO MONTHS with no time frame on when it would be ready. When they gave it back, it was still not in working condition. After 4 months, I needed to get my tires fixed and even with a warranty they are still charging $260.00. Waste of time and money. 0 stars

It was an easy process for me. I had ordered my tires and install online. Showed up for my appointment, and was done within a bit over an hour. I had a few questions about the brand I was getting because I hadn't heard about them. This is my first set of tires I've gotten in over 12 years (typically lease but kept this last one). Head tech is what I assumed he was put me at ease with his answers. Can't beat the free install that goes with the tires. Overall happy!

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I was skeptical at first but I learned that they came under new management and they did an amazing job on my car. I got new tires and brakes. They were able to find the greatest deal to use such as coupons and military discount. They told me that the military discount would take more money than the actual coupon. I haven’t had any problems since then.

Great Service today at Killeen Pep Boys. Juan went above and beyond to repair my vehicle in a bit of an urgent travel situation.He and the team provided an excellent solution and had me out of there and back on the road in less than two hours after encountering an emergency ar 3 AM and making a same day reservation at 5 AM in the morning for 10AM.Thabk to you Juan and the Team.

Customer service was great very friendly and explained everything that needed to be done. I would give 5 stars but I made an appointment for 10am and it took 5 hours and $640 a bit pricey to get 2 new kuhmo tires and an alignment plus tire rotation and tires balanced. I could see 2 hours maybe 3 hours but 5 hours is a long wait for that amount of work. Juan was very professional, the shop just needs to work on time management and offer a small inconvenience discount if you have to wait that long.

Thank you!!! Definitely will be returning here for my vehicle tire needs! They fixed my balance after I got new tires put on by someone else, to include unmounting and remounting a tire that the other people left an old tpm sensor in.. Great price! Great service!

This place is amazing, great service, great prices compared to how everything is so expensive now and not to mention everyone is super professional. Juan the manager is great and gets things done as fast as possible to not have you waiting too long. I highly recommend it!

Such an honest place! They do honest work and will not over charge or give you a necessary "needs to be done" list. They're always so quick, compassionate and knowledgeable. Could not recommend this place enough!!

I had a 9:30 a.m. appt for a simple oil change and it took 4 hours to begin working on my vehicle. Everything seems to be broken from their computer systems to their coffee machine and they are understaffed for the appointments that they have scheduled and don’t take walk ins.**update**The next day I found an oil stain in my driveway! I returned to the establishment where it was explained to me that they had accidentally spilled my oil filter when they were changing it and it had gotten all over the splash guard and was dripping from that because it had not been cleaned off.

I had a crazy tire emergency and Amber was literally the best! Very informative and knew what she was talking about. The maintenance done on my car was so quick I barely had time to grab Starbucks 😉 I never let anyone else in Killeen touch my car and this Pepboys location’s services has been and stayed consistent.

Over priced me by 3x the amount on filters and tire sensors, went down to autozone same exact parts 3x less but don’t worry the guy boasted about how he’s quoting those prices without labor included on top of this the inspection claimed the psi on the tires were 30 at arrival and 30 when it left how ever I checked them before and after not a single tire read to 30 psi. they also didn’t tighten the bolts on my engine filter cover after checking it aswell as leaving all the small air flow tubes disconnected. 10/10 don’t recommended buying any parts here, the front desk lady has good customer service that’s about I all I can say is positive about this place. Forgot to mention there is an obvious leak that I know is there which was not mentioned in there report so don’t buy parts here or get inspections unless you have to.

I went there September and got a new tire. I drove there on my spare tire. I went there after work they fit me in an hour before they closed with a brand new tire in an oil change. When I left, I didn’t think to check if my Spare was put back in my trunk. A month later I got another flat. My spare was not in the trunk. I called Pep Boys and let them know the situation and it was after hours so I dropped the car off and put the keys in the dropbox. The next morning they called me as soon as they opened And let me know what my ETA was. They got it done in the hour and found my spare before I left. The manager apologized for the inconvenience let me know that the work was free to patch up the tire and gave me a discounted oil change for my next visit, letting me know that this was an honest mistake to me this was real customer service because he didn’t have to do that and everybody makes mistakes.

Horrible experience. Had a appointment for new tires at 10am. The vehicle didn’t get taken in until 11:20. It is currently 1400 and I got a text saying my vehicle was ready. When I asked how bad the alignment was….. turns out they didn’t do the realignment!!.. Sooo had to wait even longer. An easy thing such as new tires and a realignment took well over 4 hours to do. Also turns out they never arrived me to my appointment and instead canceled it.

I paid them twice for the same problem and they still didn't fix it but created more problems and didn't. They told me they had a bad staff that was using faulty parts so they offer to fix it after firing and hiring new people but nothing change my. Car still worse then when I brought it here. Don't go to them the guy does not have good customer service and will take your Monash. He told me file a lawsuit he they got good lawyers. Just bad customer service all together. 💔👎👎👎

Charged 84 for the tire then after the installation wanted over 165 for one tire. Absolutely ridiculous and on top of the fact the guy Juan has a complete attitude problem period

100% take your business elsewhere.Clearly overpriced, but up until recently knowing that I was taken care was worth the price vs some of the other quickjiff type places. Apparently there is new management ( and crew ) there that are down right disrespectful. I have brought my vehicle to the same location over the last 5 years and suddenly a "free oil change" card /services that was offered to me due to an error on their part can no longer be excepted. Well just this one time?On the phone he is being just as rude and crude to another customer who he clearly has no communication skills for. Your answer will be, call 1800-pepboys when they mess up your stuff.

Scheduled an appointment for 9am, showed up and place was closed. Stood around for 30 minutes waiting but they never opened. I called and called but no answer. Had to call corporate to get told that they were closed due to everyone calling out. Guess they couldn't put up a sign or send an email saying appointment canceled. I have never used a Pep Boys and now I never will. I will find some other place to take my vehicle and spend my money at.

I made a appt for I believe 1:00 and when we got there we were told he was going to lunch so it would be about an hr. I reminded her that we also wanted a front end alignment which I had told them the day before. And she informed me that the mechanic was off that day....not a great experience.

On 12 April 2023 I had my tires fixed to include buying a new tire. After the work was completed they returned my vehicle. I drove out of the staging area and lessthan two blocks away the tire they replaced nearly fell off as they had not tighten the lug nuts and they were completely loose. Had to walk back to the shop and the manager asked like it was not a big deal and told me to wait until he have an available worker to drive to my car and tighten the lug nuts.No ride was offered to me and I had to walk back to my car..Employee showed up in his personal car and without lifting my vehicle tighten the lug nuts that were totally loose and told me to be on my way..Complaint was submitted to reginal office and 1month later I have never heard back from them (case # 88901).

Terrible customer service. I came in to get all four tires replaced on my truck as I had a nail deflating my back tire. I went into Pep Boys with my own purchased tires, but they said they could not do it as they could not take off my tires. They claimed that they couldn’t take any more time taking them off as they were about to close. We came in around 6:30p and their time of closing was at 8p. We were told to come in the next morning. When we arrived the next morning we were then told to leave as they still could not fix our situation. There is a serious lack of communication between opening and closing shifts. 0/10 recommend.

Made an appointment. Received a confirmation for said appointment. They canceled my appointment without notification. I show up to a mechanic with an attitude and less than apologetic. He said I could leave it, "and they'll get to it when they can". Do better! Let your loyal customers know, any customer, that you're canceling their appointment. SMH

What a joke. I was greeted by an extremely rude person who first accused me of my appointment being yesterday (it wasn't). He then told me that it would be several hours before he could get to me. When I mentioned he was being pretty rude to a customer he responded with I've been here 22 days in a row. Don't think that's legal but it's also not my problem. I scheduled an appointment for a reason.He was happy when I suggested I will take my business elsewhere, which is exactly what I did. This place deserves less than 1 star. Worst customer service in town.Don't waste your time like I did.

DO NOT go to this pep boys. I brought my car in for a starter issue they stole my catalytic converter and refused to do anything about it. The manager Matthew is an absolute nightmare he has an attitude problem and they’re super expensive. They charged me almost $400 in labor alone to fix a starter; i had to source the part myself. I paid $450 dollars to get my catalytic converter stolen. You’d have a better shot at being satisfied with your experience if you went to your half blind uncle.
