I started purchasing from Murdoch's a few months ago. I love it!Customer service is amazing! Everyone is very kind and doesn't hesitate to help you find what you need. We have purchased things from a heater to tools, and dogs things and dog food/treats. I love that they carry bee keepers needs. I would argue that they have anything for almost any task you need to complete and their clothing section is nice as well. Also hunter gear and such. I think it has more variety than Tractor supply. Last time I was there they had very healthy looking chicks for sale as well. And I believe everything so far has been decently priced as well.

This store has everything. A little pricey, but great quality and selection. Helpful staff, too. Kids love to visit to see the live baby chicks and the toys. You won't leave empty handed.

Ms. Morgan was so helpful and looked up info on a hat brand that I had questions about.Come to find out it was a brand I would wear and supports veterans! Morgan was professional and did her best to help me and my nephew. Thank you Morgan (she needs to be promoted) above peers!Serena at the register was just as cheerful and had excellent customer service as well. Will return for more products for my business (satisfied customer)

I went shopping for a new straw hat today and as soon as I got to that section of the store, I thought I'd left Texas and crossed the border into Oklahoma. Question: Why have hundreds of hats if they're all the same? Ever heard of variety? Ever thought of giving your customers a choice? Who decided this was the style of hat you would approve for your customer's to wear? I can't give any more than a single star rating to any company who thinks so little of their customers. Even one star is too much.

This is an awesome store if you’re looking for anything for the outside of your home/ranch/farm. I had never been to one of these stores until I found the one in Killeen. These should be all over Texas!

So I go into Murdoch's today and I make my way to the back of the store where the firearms are located. Maybe two other customers browsing about in the firearms area. A few more customers walk by and stop real quick to browse the pistol selection and the employee who's a bit older and younger employee greet each customer as they step up and browse pistols and long guns and ask if they're interested in anything particular and if they answer they're"just looking" the employees say "okay if you want to see something in particular please let us know".I'm browsing the ammunition section and make my way to the pistol display and the long gun display. Mind you at least 5-6 additional customers have browsed the pistol and long gun section each being greeted by one or both employees.I get to the pistol and long guns display knowing exactly what rifle I want to look at and purchase and both employees look at me and it seemed like you could hear a mouse fart. I can see the rifle I want but nothing. Not a hello, how can I help you etc. I wasn't expecting either of them to go out of their way but I did expect to be assisted. Not like I could walk behind the counter and open the rifle display and help myself.But wait, I didn't get upset instead I walked to the other end of the counter thinking maybe they'll get the hint. Nope! So I walk back to the other end and look at scopes which is right in front of the long guns. Nope. Apparently to these two employees i'm the invisible man.Would have been a easy sale as I knew what rifle I wanted, they have the rifle in stock and I have a LTC making the process even quicker.Oh well I guess Murdoch's only helps certain people.If you value good customer service don't visit this locations firearms department. You'll be sadly disappointed.

The store was really nice. They had a large variety of items - like a one stop shop for the country life.None of the employees offered assistance, welcomed or thanked us though. So, aside from the poor customer service, it was a nice store!

I’m so impressed with the customer service at the Killeen location. We were passing through and stopped in and bought a pair of shoes. We got home and realized they were 2 different sizes, and we live hours away. I talked to Blake and he immediately came up with a solution. He communicated every step of the way and I received my new shoes today!

Made a purchase online for 4 pairs of shoes totaling over $250. All 4 pairs of shoes were Christmas presents for my 2 nieces and my husband. My niece put on her slippers as soon as we brought the package inside, and within an hour one of the shoes had come apart. I emailed Customer Service to have a new pair sent to us, and they told me I would have to send these shoes back, wait for them to receive the shoes so they can credit my account, and then I can make another purchase for another pair of shoes. Absolutely not. I've already taken the time to make an order. Why should I have to send these back, wait a week for a refund, and then have to wait another week to receive the shoes? Then you guys even said "And here is a one time courtesy free shipping code to use on the replacement order." A one time courtesy? Y'all are lacking in returns and customer service, and you can take the $40 I paid for these shoes and wipe your rear with them, since that's how you treat your customers.

I had never been here before and thought to myself "self, I should go check it out", so I did. Glad I did. Talk about shocked! Had no idea that it was a Boot Barn, Academy, Cabela"s, and Tractor Supply all mixed into one with one HELL of an assortment of DeWalt. Holy smokes there's a lot of DeWalt and everything else you might need. Plenty of people to assist in whichever department.

I raise Dorper sheep and a few Brangus cattle. This one of the best spots open later than most places for these kinds of products. Like when you got triplet lambs on an inexperienced ewe and find your last bag of milk replacer expired 2 months ago at 7pm that night.. Better prices than most places for such small volume purchases. Tons of other needs and wants for rural folk from the old school back to the Spanish land grant rancher to us newbies who've only been here a couple of generations or less.Sure, larger operations will buy their standards from the established outlets. But if you're just needing something important at a decent price later than the regular feed store, they're definitely your stop..So, compared to TSC as if they were grocery stores: TSC is Brookshire Brothers and Murdoch's is a larger up market HEB..

John from sporting goods made my family and I feel watched, uneasy and uncomfortable. Making it seem like we were going to steal something. 1st and last time we walk into a Murdochs. This is a military community, with people from all walks of life, there's no room for racial profiling.

This is a very nice store, they have a ton of stuff that I was not even able to look due to time issues but I will be going back soon! Decent pricing on items I was looking for. Huge DeWalt wall. Pleasant crew at checkout and that's the only curious thing I found the checkout is a double sided lane I would think it would be a traffic jam if busy But I'll see next time EDIT this is my second occasion checking the store status for items to purchase before I actually went to the store that they did not have the products in the store even when the website said they did.

I always get super busy and forget to do this but I just wanted to give a shout out to Billy in the firearms department as he was absolutely amazing and very patient and taught me a lot while I was there about the firearm I was purchasing. He was big on safety and helped me get the one that was best for me. Both him and his partner in the firearms had great customer service and were joy to purchase items through. The whole store itself is absolutely awesome. I would probably go bankrupt here if I would let myself do it lol 🤣 Good thing I'm a smart adult. I got my dad's Father's Day present here and he absolutely loves his cowboy boots! The cashiers are always a joy as well and there are plenty of employees walking around to help you find something if you need to locate anything. Thank you guys and I look forward to giving you my business in the future.

Murdock Ranch & Home Supply has "Everything".... It's well organized and clean.Customer service is awesome. I was asked 3 or more times if I needed help finding something.It's a bit pricey. But if I were wealthy, I would make it my hot spot for anything Ranch, Farm or gardening related.I hope it has longevity.... That location is not great, and because of that, it may or may not survive....

Great place! We stop by often--almost weekly. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer a nice selection of clothing, boots, and shoes for both men and women, along with so many other unique items you don't find around here often. From their gift ideas to guns and tools and items you may need for your home and/or farm, Murdoch's has an exceptional selection of inventory. The store is super clean, well organized, and it is just a great place. We love Murdoch's Ranch and Home Supply!
