Horrible experience. So called "store manager" has the worst disgusting attitude. A week or so ago came in to grab a gatorade in this heat and had my bag with my work uniform and laptop for college in it as i was on my way to work and this man talked to me like I'm a typical schoolkid demanding i leave my bag at the door unsupervised. While iwas trying to l explaini was on my way to work and just grabbing a literal singular gatorade he cut me off saying he didnt care and i had to do it and then proceeds to be rude making me leave my bag unsupervised as he is not watching it since he demanded i leave it near the door able to be stolen and then makes me wait in line for several minutes while he talks with a customer instead of getting his job done. Don't recommend especially if you're a person like me bc being 22 and talked to like a kid by another adult and disrespected in this manner is why i never go to dollar general unless absolutely necessary bc the ladies on night shift are much much more nicer than this rude gentleman.

Went to DG for a few simple items, and didn’t want to deal with the long lines at places like Walmart or H.E.B. I was instantly greeted by Jinx, who was working behind the register. He later came from behind the register to help me find a few items I overlooked. He made my shopping experience quick, efficient and most of all pleasant! Thank you D.G, and thank you Mr. Jinx!!!!

I love this store, I usually shop with coupon, the lady that usually work in the night shift or closing, she did an excellent job. She has so much patience dealing with people like me who shops with coupon, especially if the coupon is not in the right item, she tells you to get the right one. She is very helpful above and beyond towards customer. Thank you so much

Found lots of great toy items for girls and boys, all reasonably priced to donate during this Christmas season. They also had a 25% off of $75 so I was able to get extra toys. And the cashier (Jazzy) was absolutely amazing and had a million $ smile, not to mention she was so very pleasant and courteous and customer friendly.

Left the carnival to make a quick stop here for some snacks. I was greeted at the door got my things and got in line. When it was my turn the older lady asked me how I was doing and made me laugh a few times. These are the type of people who need to be in stores not the grumpy ones. The store was clean will return

This was a typical Dollar General, nothing really out of the ordinary. The shelves in certain areas were rather bare as Texas was in the middle of a winter storm. It was organized, the staff was very friendly, and it's stocked well for the time. Recommend.

There is a black female an older woman possibly in her 50s with the WORST attitude.. she always arguing with this guy that ride the motorcycle that she work with and she is any less than exciting when you enter the store .. I wanted to tell her to find a new job

I do all my coupons here. I have the app downloaded and I save BIG time ! I love this store. My last amount I purchased was 89$ after scanning all my coupons I only spent 40$. Can you believe it ! WellBelieve it !! Great store to bulk by and save money.

Bc people hardly love the cheap stores for some odd reason. I'm sold quite, quick, and affordable. They have everything I need and its never busy with angry or just unnecessary foot traffic.

It's a pretty good place to get what ever you need plus when ever I'm in town I always buy my gallon of milk there cause you can't get it for $ 1.95 anywhere else ! ! Plus my cup of soup 3 for $ 1.00 isn't bad either ! ! I can just go on and on plus their clothes ain't half bad either .

They have clearance items with a sign saying 50. Percent off and when it's rung up it's only 25 to 30 percent off. Signs are not right and they won't take back a lampshade that was the wrong one on one of the lamps I bought I didn't notice by until I got home that one was a bit different so I took it back the next day and asked to exchange the shade for the correct one they told me because of the virus they couldn't take it back or exchange it - really? The virus? I will never shop there again I now have a set of lamps that don't match.

I’m a student at the nearby High School and sometimes I come there for my lunch break. It’s very inconvenient to us students that there’s only 1 student allowed in at a time. The Valero down the street allows 2/3 people at a time. We only have a fixed amount of lunch time so it’s very inconvenient to us to have to wait for long periods of time outside to even be able to purchase food. Not only that but once you do get inside they rush you to purchase items. They give you no time to browse your opinions or walk around the store to get what you need. Other than that the customer service is decent.

I walked in the door with some bags because I needed to return some items. As soon as I crossed the threshold the cashier said: YOU CAN'T TAKE THOSE IN THE STORE. NOTE AS SOON AS I CROSSED THE THRESHOLD. There was no Hi Welcome to Dollar General. There was no Hi do you have a return. Just you can't take those in the store. I don't know how other CUSTOMERS are use to be GREETED when they walk in a store but this is not the way I am custom to. No matter the location there should still be a level of respect until someone gives you just cause. Even then the associate still should maintain a level of PROFESSIONALISM. There should be some coaching for sure.

This is my 3rd time experienced on this Dg and the casher doesn't know what he was doing ,he is bold guy. I wish I have an option to choose which casher but only two pepz are woking there. He pretend he scan the coupon but it didn't deduct the end of the transactions, and he said because of my digital coupon. which is not true because i did same transaction to the other dg which was i had no problem. Only him had/have that kind of nightmare experienced.. he needs to learn how their system work. He never ask help or whatsoever.. period. It is very upsetting on my side.

General Dollar Store should be Walmart because everything in their causes as much as the things we buy in Walmart so they should change the name because nothing in there a Dollar really, but overall I like the general dollar store cuz they have them in your neighborhood everywhere and you can run in there and get the things that you need but you pay more then you will at Walmart that's crazy so I give you a 3

I've worked and shopped at store #05854 and the way the manger talk's to the stuff in front of other customers is unbelievable she has no filter when talking to her staff members when no one is present she stated she cuss like a champ my response was WOW..... then please don't cuss me.Manger and assistant manger plays the music so loud and everybody is not into a loud music setting of club's & bars,50 percent of the customers do complain to the cashiers but nothing has changed. Store #05854 turn the volume "DOWN" so people can think and shop.

Always go at the same time of the day so I am heated by the same cashier and manager each time they are friendly and always take time to help. Cashier is extremely polite and is always smiling.

Reasonable prices there is always a clearance sale happening, but the isles are always blocked with boxes. the new layout makes the store feel crowded and closed in.
