We generally come here for the bath stations and the grooming services, and it's always great. It's Matthew (?) in the grooming area though who prompted me to write a review now. He's helped us the last couple times with my dog's nail trims. He's always fantastic, loves on my baby, and he's very thorough. Many times people won't get them nice and short, but he always takes his time and gets as close as he can without hurting my dog, which I appreciate. I'll probably call ahead next time before I go just to make sure he's there!

Staff very helpful.The morning I arrived shortly after they opened many customers were elderly and cashier made each person feel special. He did not hurry them, chatted with each. Inquired about the health of the pet.

Very helpful and friendly employees. Large selection of foods for pets. Would give 5 stars if each time we went in that the food we purchase was available. Luckily we always keep ahead on food in our home for our dogs. Also wish they gave military discount due to large number of military presence in the area and military spreads the words on Veteran friendly businesses.

We got a great groom for my fur baby. The groomers did an excellent job and listened to me about his quirks.What I do not like about Pet Supplies Plus is the prices for the food, etc. everyday unless there is a sale. Plus they do not carry my dogs food. They eat Ultra by Nutra so since I have to order their food, I can order everything else at a cheaper price.

The only place I have found in Kerrville that sells aquarium fish. And they have a good selection too.

I stopped in to get Holiday presents for my dog. They had the perfect chew thing and some cat toys, because my dog likes cat toys. I did see some bugs in one of the rawhide bone boxes. But that may be normal, I honestly don't know.

I love this place I bought a dwarf hamster lived long but died 2 years after I bought him and I love to buy toys and treats and edible bubbles for my pup and dog the employees are very friendly and welcoming to help around the store the employees all so give you tips on the animal you take home for a grooming place and a store very clean I am looking on getting a tortoise soon!

The employees are very friendly! I love that they have the good quality foods. They had a cute Valentines Day photo shoot thing going on and they asked if I wanted pics of my dog. Usually I’m hesitant just because of my anxiety but they were super kind and polite and I obliged and got some of the CUUUUTEST photos!

Honestly LOVE this place!! My Lab and I come here and the people are so friendly and knowledgeable. They just remodeled and it's the nicest it's ever been! They even have a dog grooming station where you pay $10 for one wash or $35 for five (for the year) and you can WASH YOUR OWN DOG?!? it's super nice, soap, sprayer, dryer and everything!! My Bella always love it and is comfortable here!!

Catarina is amazing with grooming my Puggles. He absolutely loves her. He always is so cute and smells so good. The nail clipping and ear cleaning is a plus, I'm so thrilled with how well it gets done.

The staff seems to care about their animals, but that being said they take none of the steps for "adoption" like other stores I've visited In the chain of pet supply plus. Along with almost every time I've been in there the fish are in poor health. I understand fish are not the easiest to take care of but none the less, it's consistent that the fish in this store are sick and will die.No paper work was filled out. There was no guarantee that if the animal was sick or passed away that they would be held accountable or refund the purchase.I only say this because I've been to other stores and they followed procedures as mentioned above.I hope to see better in the future.

The staff in general are usually friendly. I shop here often, but it’s really the only choice in Kerrville. There is definitely a lack of patience within the last 30 minutes of the store being open, and they often lock the doors before the actual closing time. There are items I purchase here that you can’t buy in store anywhere else in town, but if I had the option to I would go elsewhere.

It seems like they know the locals don't have other choices so they are fine with hiring inexperienced employees and management at low wagesMostly poor experience. They hire very young employees with little training and I never see a manager on the floor. I miss pet smart. I only go here because they have the only pet store in the area. I have tried to get my dogs nails trimmed here 3 times. Every time there was some drama ( usually understaffed) ( maybe training and paying a fair wage would help). Never had trouble getting nail trims in the past.

I take my Lab/Dushound for her bath at Pet Supplies & always need someone to lift her into the shower due to back surgery. They is always willing to help & I Soo appreciate their help.A young man named Zach helped me yesterday, very courteous. Sure NEED lots more like him. Thank you, Pet Supplies Plus.

The evening employees at Kerrville store on Tuesday June 6, 2023 are rude and unfriendly if you’re not out of that store 10-15 minutes before closing. There was a woman who locked the doors before closing time (9 pm) (with an attitude) and a girl at register (with an attitude) who was downright rude when I was at register to check out. They were both hostile because I wasn’t in & out quick enough! Even though they closed at 9 pm and it was still 4-5 minutes before closing. (I was watching the time on my phone so as to hurry.) Both women were super rude & passive aggressive. I was disappointed to not even be greeted at register and felt extremely uncomfortable by how rude they both were.

Today was the absolute worst experience i have ever had at this location. All of the employees are always helpful and friendly, but today i met the manager, David. He had an extremely off putting attitude when i needed to make a return on fish that died 3 days after i bought them. I also needed to test my aquarium water to see if that could play a part in why my fish died. He got rude when i wanted a refund rather than an exchange, even when i explained that I don't want to add more fish to an aquarium that may have compromised water. I've spent 200 dollars on fish in this store in the last 3 weeks, excuse me for not wanting to add to that bill. The girls were very nice and helpful as always, and helped me to determine what my water problems were, so that i could fix my problem and be able to purchase more fish. After today's experience though, i believe the rest of my fish additions will come from another source. Cannot believe that someone with that poor of people skills could be the one in charge of everyone else.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Store 🏬is well stocked, clean and has a lot of accessories for all types of animals. Prices are a bit expensive, but being the only pet store explains some of that.Great place to take your K9 and has a grooming area.

It's a half and half with me because you can get things there that you can't get at HEB or Walmart but I have had really bad experiences with their fish because they always had ick but I think I'm going to try it one more time and that's it

When in Kerrville I will shop pet supplies plus for all my pets needs.The young lady at the check out asked if I knew about their reward program, I didn't so I signed up!Thank you for that!
