I loved the job that Lexy and Marissa did, grooming my two Shih Tsu dogs. They were a hot mess when I dropped them off to be groomed, and now they look like two different dogs. You guys are amazing, and I definitely will return.

Great grooming job on my 4 mutts! I know a couple of them can be a handful! They get so excited to visit The Dog Stop and always come home smelling so good. Very glad we found Lexy! Only groomer we'll ever use!

The Dog Stop in Kerrville TX was wonderful. They did a wash and groom, nails and ear clean for my dog. They were so polite and took me in with no notice. Mother and daughter were phenomenal! I appreciate their care for my boy! Highly recommend them!

I've had 1 of my Shih-Tzu's groomed here months ago however on this past Monday, Nov.9th, 2020 at 9:20 a.m. I called for a appt. for my other Shih-Tzu had to leave voice mess. needing grooming for other fur baby never got a call back, disappointed

Lexy is a great person, I feel really bad about not keeping my appointment to take our dog to her but the waterheater elements blew up and needed to be fixed right away but I'm going to call her today and explain why I didn't show up?

I live in Alvin, Tx. and my daughter had a TJBA show in Kerrville June 17-20. I have a 13 year old poodle, who i take with me anytime we go out of town. Usually, she stays in a kennel in the room and our hotel never has a problem with this. Well the hotel we were in had a very strict no pet policy. Was not sure what i was going to do, so i called and made an appt to have her groomed. After reading several reviews from different groomer sites, i gave The Dog Shop a call. I called on a Sunday afternoon and was going to leave a message, but Lexy answered the phone. She was very sweet and accommodating. She scheduled Abby for a grooming the very next day. When i took Abby in the next day, i explained my situation to Lexy, and she informed me that she was also a boarder, which was exactly what i needed to hear. I have never left her with a boarder, she has always been with either my dad or myself, so i was a little skeptical. But Lexy was incredibly friendly and really made me feel at ease about leaving Abby over the next couple of nights. When i came to pick her up, she looked awesome! Her coat was cut exactly how i wanted it, she smelled good, and was in great shape. I read the reviews about Lexy before i took Abby, but i had a really good feeling that she was a great person. When i walked in, her shop smelled wonderful which, to me, means it was clean. I cant imagine her ever doing anything to harm an animal. She was never rude, negative, or pushy. She took a very uncomfortable and unsure situation for me and turned it into one of convenience and security. I am not sure why anyone would ever post anything remotely derogatory about Lexy. I know you cant please everybody, esp people who trust others with their pets. But i dont think Lexy deserves such harsh words and comments directed at her. If i am ever in Kerrville again, she will be the first person i call to take care of Abby.

Lexy is awesome and knows what she's doing. We went on a cruise & she kept our dogs for 9 days. Dogs where homesick but had adjusted during the time they were there.

Sliced the side of my parent's dog years ago. Claimed she came in like that. If she had come in injured, why didn't Dog Stop call us? Why let her bleed and suffer all day? Simple. Dog Stop cut her and lied about it. NEVER take your pets there.
