Sweet place to stop by on a ride. Layed back atmosphere. Prices are up there but that is too be expected because of the location. The food is average but not bad.

Pulled pork sliders were messy but excellent. We brought dogs so we sat out on the side porch. There’s a back porch for those with no pets involved. The inside is cute and rustic. A good stop.

We rode out there from Houston. There were eight of us. Got sitted righ away. Drinks were brought up fast, followed by food. The food was good and hot. The service was excellent. the server made a few rounds, making sure we had what we needed.Picturesque place to visit and enjoy.

Husband's cuz band they r very talented bunch Cross roads.The green sauce chips were great, as our waitess was friendly and not pushy .Patio was ok, really not my cup of tea any longer the drinking scene. .But I would come bk for dinner again , the rustic atmosphere was nice.Thanks 😇

What an amazing restaurant/ bar! They have a little bit of everything here. We arrived with little knowledge of anything going on and ended up country dancing to a country band that was playing. Their food is delicious and the facility is clean! They have funny pictures along the walls. The food and drinks are not over priced. I love the Kenny Store and would definitely come back! I would recommend this place to my closest friends and family.

Best food and atmosphere in the area! If you’ve never been to the kenney store, get there as soon as possible! Also, the drinks are extremely affordable!

This was my first time and definitely won’t be my last! What a fun place sitting off a Hwy in little Kenny TX. This place has some history for sure. Love that a lot of the original building is still original, the bar, down to the floors. The addition out back is amazing for outside live music. Plenty of tables. Bathrooms are easy access. The food was great. Cheese sticks were like egg rolls loved them ! Staff was friendly and attentive.The band we saw was Daniel Holmes and wow what a performance. He was great ! The music was like a country southern rock. So much talent on the stage. He comes back we will be there! Everyone loved it, dancing , singing . Great place to go sit and have a cold drink.Be sure to check out the old post office next door and the horse hitching posts…. That tells ya how old these building are.

We go here every year for my aunts birthday. The food is good and we love the live texas music. It’s a fun atmosphere and I don’t hesitate taking my kids w me.

A day out drive in a lovely area. Looking forward to another time to indulge in their food. Love the old time vibe. Food very good and service very pleased. Plenty of space to distance and have an enjoyable meal.

The Kenney Store was FANTASTIC!!! Cole was Johnny-on-the-Spot with Platinum service! We had the Trio appetizer with fried mushrooms, pickles & hit chicken balls! So delicious. Then, we split the chicken fried ribeye with wonderful sides. We were so full, we sat outside & listened to The Risky Liver Band. 5-Star all the way!

The place is a must stop. Tony and Rita embody hospitality. When you walk into their establishment you are greeted by their outstanding staff. The store is well kept and well maintained. They have maintained the historic building and made it an incredibly community hub. You need to come here and see a show and get dinner! Food is fantastic and so incredibly reasonably priced. Cant say enough about the store and the people who make it great!!!

A piece of paradise off the beaten path. Exceptional service from a great crew on a busy night. I did not have my jeans and sh*tkickers on so I missed the barn dance, but the steak and drinks were worth the drive. The ribeye was a solid meal and didn't break the bank, and the sides worked in "real good" with the whole dinner. Bring a group and party...

With the Covid-19, not much is happening inside. But outside is wonderful! We've gone to The Kenney Store twice to have dinner. And, we had a wonderful time on both times. The food was great; especially the fried mushrooms. The band was great as well. They played a variety of music. It made the whole outside atmosphere very pleasant. This is a great please to finish out your day. I highly recommend it!

It's kind of like a diamond in a haystack. What a great place to enjoy music, great food, drinks, and even a large outdoor area with yard games.

Service was subpar, especially for most of the tables being empty.Atmosphere and decor are good, but live music was far too loud for the small space. Hard to have a conversation with the person next to you.Menu options have been reduced. Might eventually give them a third chance, but overall, not impressed the first two times I went there.

Was excited to go here and gotta say I will not be going back ever again.Walk in, not greeted. Seat ourselves? Sit for ten minutes. Nobody comes over. We grab our own menus from the front. Have to go up and ask staff how we order? She was nice and all but clearly understaffed and a very unorganized place. We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Watched multiple other people arrive after us get served before us..eat and leave before our food even came out. Food was awful. Not even correct portions that were listed on the menu. Place needs more organization and better communication with customers. Our waitress was really really nice and I feel bad because I don't think it's her fault. But I will not be coming back.
