Was trying to pay but the reader messed up as it didn't allow me to put in my pin. The person ringing us out assumed that the card declined and took back two random items and rung it out again instead of trying to do it again. So only left with only a few things I went their for.

Horrible Manager and disgusting store. Manager is rude to staff. (I know because I worked there) and she runs it horribly. I work at the Sycamore School RD location and I love it. I'm actually getting hours and the Manager over here is a lot better. Do not go to the kennedale location

Horrible customer service, hired a new manager who doesn’t care about customers so be careful. She will call the police real quick on you for being upset about not honoring prices or policy. I will go to the Mansfield location from now on!

This is the 2nd time that I have noticed coming in this store where half my items are ringing up more than what the shelf price says. I told the guy tonight and he said if it’s right it will show when he finishes the transaction. Transaction finished and would not provide a receipt for me to double check ( granted receipt does not work at this register). It may just be a couple of dollars but these folks need to go through and audit or something to put the correct prices on stuff. Literately do not honor the price tag rates! Very unappreciative. I will be figuring out who to report this to!

This store has had its troubles. For a long time their shelves were bare because of all the thievery that went on here. They got robbed on more than 1 occasion & the staff was minimal & rude. But they added more security, fired & hired some people, & finally got their shelves stocked. Which is good as they are the only "grocery" for miles.

That's so funny!!! I used to work at this very same store lol!!! I just visited that store for the first time in four years since I worked there and Google maps asked me to rate it and leave a review. Well when it popped up on the screen the first picture I seen was my car parked out front ... four years ago!!! That's crazy :-) I love this store it's packed with great stuff and the employees are always very attentive and helpful!!! Will definitely be visiting again!! Keep up the great work Dollar General 🙂

Sharmila is a horrible store manager. I tried to send her a schedule since we share an employee and she told me to never do it again. Absolutely unprofessional and she treats her employees like animals but that's a whole different story. I will NEVER work for or send people to work for this Dollar General as long as this monster is the store manager.Kennedale's Dollar General is run by a horrible store manager. Sharmila treats her employees like animals and they are not allowed to have more than one job, she forces them to choose which job they want more. I have a few friends that work there and they will not call Sharmila out on the stuff she does but I have no problem doing it. That's just to the employees, she is rude to customers as well. You try to ask her a question and she either cuts you off or completely ignores you. I can't believe Dollar General lets somebody like this run their store. I do not recommend this Dollar General at all until Sharmila is removed as store manager.

The employees are nice and professional always. However the store it's self as long as I can remember and every time I go in, looks like a tornado has gone through it. Seems like everything is scattered all over the store, needs some organization.

Nice dollar store experience. Short staffed as most dollar stores are, not great happy service. But you can get a wide variety of things and pay for them without incident.

They always have a long line because they have one cashier who is never even at the register. They’re always chit chatting instead of doing their jobs. It’s a mess in there! They constantly have ladders and rolling carts full of stock blocking everything! They really need new management.

It a ok store, they have lots of stuff it seems clean...The employee that helped us seemed to just not want to be there. I don't think the person helping us is the type of person that should be working in the customer service field however we found everything we wanted and was in and out pretty quick so all in all it was a good visit and I have to say it was a good store the employee was not rude by any means just kind could care less she was there???

Very convenient to run in, get what you need and run out. OR- one lady did her weekly shop there. She said Walmart was too busy, too big, too many people. Very friendly check out staff and someone always available to help you find what you need.

The manager returned my money after charging $11.70 twice. I had to show him the transaction in my bank account to get my $11.70! Since it took 3 days he should have given me all my money back. No worries I won't be back at this location. Cash at all of them from now on. Always check your accounts daily, mistakes happen.

Could use a few more people working the registers. Why bother having 2 registers if you don't use them both when there are 4 or 5 people in line? Other than that they sell stuff you don't need but want, and stuff you need but forget to get lol. So good store over all.

They are the worst store ever. They will not open extra registers no matter how long the line is. Half the time you have to hunt someone down just to check you out. They need new management and the staff my gosh be nice once in awhile. If you hate your job that much find a new one.

It's Dollar General! Often the isles are a little trashed from business throughout the day, most times there's only one cashier, lines are backed up from time to time...it's the Dollar General way in all stores. Besides known expectations before arriving,...Dollar General is life saving for a lot of people from prices to convenience.

Went there for a small box , like 8 x8 x8, siutable for shipping and they had one! Thought for sure I would have to go to Walmart. I live about 1/2 mile from D.G. . Walmart which also would have had what I needed, is about 3 mi. through 5pm traffic.

Absolutely the worst store I have ever been to. The manager is one of the rudest and most incompetent person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting..this store needs a complete facelift starting with management. Will never go in here again..

The employees here are kind and friendly, unlike others stores I've been to. A little overpriced compared to where I prefer to shop, but if I just need one or two things I will definitely return.
