Good price if you book by the week but room was super dirty when we checked in, poop was dried on the side of the toilet, the floors look like they never get swept or mopped, the house keepers spend minimal time in the room, the fridge was gross, I daily had to go ask for towels because they didn't give us new towels, id have to ask for trash bags and everything. The breakfast was good but their juice machine was broken then entire week and a half we stayed here. The front desk staff was very friendly though.

Tried to book a room online and kept getting an error. I called the hotel and told them about the error and they said it wasn't a problem they would honor the online deal. I came in and showed the deal, the lady again said it's not a problem but the morning manager would credit me the difference in the morning. So I paid full price. In the morning the manager refused to honor the rate and stated I had already agreed to the regular price rate. I feel lied to and the manager will could have fixed the issue or met somewhere in the middle but was a jerk about it. I've stayed several times because of work but better believe I'll be staying at 3 other places close by in the future. They lost a regular customer.

Work has always sends us to this hotel everytime we come to Kenedy. But this time has ben the worst. They clean the room every 3, 4 or even 5 days. Appearently the housekeepers weren’t trained in how to use a broom or mop very well. Have to ask for towels all the time and the 1st 2 weeks we were there they didn’t change the bedding at all. I had to pull everything off the bed and throw it in the hall way so they could get the hint after telling them to do it every day. They would tell me up front it was done and nothing. This place is trash and I would never pay to stay myself.Now just being alittle petty now, but the room is big and they have at 30inch TV across the room and the mattress is hard as a rock, like sleeping in a box spring.I hate this place.

my first room had a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom cob webs in the corners as well as cracks in the walls.. the bed had dog hair all over it. it blended into the blanket so i couldnt see it before sitting on it… there seemed to be bugs on the walls near the ceiling.. i asked for a new room and after some time waiting i was able to get one.. didnt seem to be too much better but then i lifted the sheets and found what looked to be a small blood stain on the bed, after this i refused to stay here and went to get my refund.. had to wait quite some time to get a response to my request for a refund ( i wanted to confirm i would be getting it before i left, receptionist had to get in touch with the manager who wasn’t available at the time) manager finally came down and confirmed she would refund me. She was very nice & did apologize, the receptionist was very nice as well. But the hotel itself i do not recommend staying in.

While customer service was good. The lady at the front desk was very polite and helpful, but aside from that this wasn't it. The cleanliness and up keep of the rooms were a NO! NO! The owners really need to start inspecting these rooms twice a month for detailed cleaning as well as wear and tear. When I entered the room had a very stale smell, there's definitely signs of mold forming in the room. It was very dusty and looks like the last time it was wiped down a dirty rag was used. Let not get on the bathroom with the loose toilet seat, mildew shower head protruding shower handle and faucet from the wall. For the price that was charged the room was unexceptable in cleanliness and quality. 👎🏾😔

Disgusting roach motel. Smells bad. Nasty lobby, nasty hallway. There was a partially USED water bottle sitting on the bedside table when i checked in. My company booked this hotel for me. I checked in and immediately checked out, I was not staying at this DUMP. This hotel need to be PERMANENTLY shut down. Do not stay here. After i informed my company about how disgusting the Super 8 is, My company booked me at The Best Western which was so much better.

Avoid staying here! If it's the last hotel in Kenedy consider just sleeping in your car. First, the rate you see online won't be what you really end up paying, so don't think you're getting a good deal and it will be OK for the night.Second, I was charged twice for the same room and when I asked the desk to reverse one, they can't because "the system".The rooms are very worn down and the beds uncomfortable, even for a budget joint like this. Save yourself some frustration and keep looking.

I do not recommend this location. I was here a month ago and noticed the exit halls were filthy. Nevertheless, my room was clean. Well a month later I check-in and immediately have to have my room switched because the door would not lock and the toilet water when flushed went to the tub. Unfortunately, I was moved to a room with heavy black mold. No one should be renting this room. I took pictures and I am sure they know the condition of this place is crumbling.

Check-in was good. When I went to my room the hallway had an odor. The first room the sheets were not changed. I called front desk and they just changed me to new room which was fine. The second room the restroom was kind of dirty I asked front for some chemicals to clean it. I slept good no loud noise from hwy. I also asked a front desk for a late check out until 11:30 and no had problem with that.Just needs some improvements.

Do you miss that old locker room smell from high school? Get nostalgic about living in noisy apartments? Well the Super 8 in Kenedy is for you. What a dump. Good luck getting fresh sheets and towels. The front desk could care less. Worn out carpets, a graffitied elevator, drab and run-down rooms. My buddy's refrigerator went out and the manager did nothing about it, even with repeated complaints.

For the size of the room and the fact we got a kitchenette is good. But we had a broken chair and the top drawer didn't even want to open. The cabinet in the restroom was not attached right. We didn't stay long in the rooms so we were fine but just had broken items.

I only spent a small amount of time here. It was very clean and a nice hotel. The reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is because I lost a very sentimental item at this hotel and as soon as they found it they called and let me know they would keep it safe until I could go back to get it. Thank you so much. God Bless the people at this hotel.

Not a very good experience at the hotel at all. I expect this service level at a motel 8 but the Wyndham name is shamed in this instance. I will not choose Wyndham as any 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice hotel. Hotel had odor from front lobby on down the first floor hallway, housekeeping walked in the room while I was in the room without being let in by permission. I had to disinfect surfaces of table, bathroom sink and kitchen surfaces. I had no choice since the other better hotels were sold out.

Christy at the front desk is the only thing good about this place, she had great customer service and was the only one seen cleaning up the front, all other front desk staff was rude and talked about other customers. We were here a total of 15 days for work due to no refund. I had to ask 4 days in a row for our room to be clean and was never touched, front desk always had an excuse, on our 7th day they come to "clean" which consisted of picking up the towels and washcloths that I had piled up by the door for them and the trash, also at the door, not to mention we had to go buy trash bags because no one ever came. The room was not swept, mopped or clean sheets put on. My husband went down to ask for towels and was told HE HAD TO BRING THE DIRTY TOWELS DOWN or we couldn't have any!! Ridiculous. Days went by the room was "cleaned" 2 days before our check out date. On the 15th night my husband went down to ask for towels once again and finally caught the manager, he is very unprofessional. Manager started arguing with me husband over TOWELS, and said he personally checked every room in the hotel that day which was a lie due to me being there all day and no one ever came, my husband asked to see it on camera and "there were not any pointing that way". Mid argument a group of oil field workers come in and asked the manager what day they clean, the manager told him every day.. guess what the OF worker told him.. his room had not been cleaned in SEVEN days. Wasn't just us. Manager got mad and left!!! The stairs and elevator were dirty. Plumbing was terrible couldn't flush the toilet if running a tub or the toilet would fill up to the top, when the people up stairs flush, our toilet would gurgle and spit water ( better hope your not on it when that happens), when their tub was let out you could hear gulps in the wall, every step the people up stairs made sounded like they were about to fall through. Breakfast was never stocked well knowing there is a lot of OF workers there, waffle mix was sour one morning as if it had been sitting out since the morning before.. never ate it again. Over all do not recommend!

Rooms are very spacious comfortable with kitchenettes👍. But this property needs to work on the public area. "Vacuum" all Carpeted Hallways very dirty. Sweep and mop the elevator floor.

Dirty and run down, in dire need of an overhaul. I know times are tough, but come on, one bath towel, half a roll of TP, no wifi, no pool, and the list goes on... just because you want to be an "economy" hotel doesn't mean you have to look the part. How Wyndam has their name attached to it, makes it even worse... Had we known before hand, absolutely no way we'd have brought our kids here. Lesson learned... might even avoid Wyndham all together if this is the kind of place it sticks their name to.

Had a do not disturb on my door and they came in to clean anyway while I was gone for the day ... I felt disrespected. Other than that the room I had was cozy. The water for the bath/ shower didnt get very hot either

Place was gross, little curly hairs on wall in bathtub.., (Not Mine).. it could be nice, but run down and smells .Towels were old and dirty looking, never again..And yes I stayed there, just not under my name cause you gave us a hard time about getting are Wyndham Rewards points, because it would have taken 3 or 4 extra minutes to do more paperwork. Should be a half star.
