it’s unfortunate that it now is closed around 8pm randomly throughout the week, doors chained and everything. Went by there just now in a Friday, around 8:30. Doors locked and people congregating in the parking lot. Disappointing.

I was extremely excited to see this store under new ownership! The first thing I noticed…the stray cats and dogs were gone and the random cat and dog food that was thrown on the sidewalk, not even in a dish was cleaned up. I walked into The Store on the 1st day they were owners, they introduce themselves, I was excited to see pleasant people. I went back a few weeks later and the entire place was under construction. The snack food items that was once stale old dusty packages that no one would purchase was replaced with fresh products. The beer cooler is completely renovated. I purchased 25 bags of ice…and they helped me put them in my vehicle, something the other guys would have NEVER done! If you went before, go back and give it a chance, it is way better!

All I can say is wow! The new owners are both cordial and well informed. As our area continues to grow with more and more families relocating to Cedar Creek Lake it is refreshing to see all the renovations underway at The Store in Mabank TX.At first glance, you can feel how the new ownership has invested heavily into their new multi offering beer cooler, complete renovations to the store itself with plans to be the largest, local convenience store with a big store layout and feel.The Store has now become our first choice in local convenience items and will be yours if you pay them a visit, just South East of Kemp TX on Highway 175 West.Stop in and you will be delighted to have The Store in your Community!

Very friendly staff! Clean restrooms and best prices on US 175 for drinks and snacks. They even saved the day by having hamburger buns in stock when I needed them for an unexpected gathering.

The remodeling they’re doing is looking great! Can’t wait to see it finished. We found a great variety of alcohol drinks. The cashier was super nice to us. Overall a great experience!

Been a customer for a while now buy my gas and some goodies for the kids, I also been buying the vape pens since they started selling them, I had an issue with one in the past, one of the owners gave me an exchange which that was highly appreciated, I buy one a week and pay $49.00 for them, Yesterday I purchased one tested it worked once I got home it stopped working, I charged it still did not work, I went back today pumped some gas bought goodies for the kids, talked to the cashier I asked for the owner she said that guy isn’t here anymore we are in charge, and she was the one that cashed me out yesterday, anyway I wasn’t asking for a refund just an exchange for another vape pen like the owner did last, she said once you walk out with it there’s nothing I can do, So they just lost a customer, as well as my family and friends, I’m sure when the owner reads this review hopefully he’ll reply

This guy was rude and cheated me on my purchase of minnow. I bought 3 dozen. I used 5 and returned home with 24. He actually said that he gave me a few extra. It took him a long time to get the order. He was picking out all the minnows he really didn't want. Stay away!

These gas pumps the credit cards sometimes then don't work so you have to go inside and talk to those awful ladies working there anyways definitely will never be back

I was tight on money and tried paying with quarters, was told that I was bothersome and he limited me to $10 for my gas. Extremely rude, but I guess that is his right because he owns the store and has no employees. :) Never going back.
