I wanna give Kaufman ace hardware a huge shoutout my father in law had bought a chainsaw from there and only used it a few hours and it stopped working and after it being sent to ace a few times the owner gave my father in law a huge Christmas gift and rewarded him with a new upgraded chainsaw. Kaufman Ace and Hardware has went above and beyond to help me. I bought a chainsaw from them and it only worked for a few hours. Took the chainsaw back because it came with a warranty and the owner made everything right. He went above and beyond trying to fix the chainsaw, in the end he upgraded the my chainsaw to a better chainsaw. He was extremely nice and very helpful. I will continue to shop Ace Hardware, especially Kaufman Ace Hardware because of the kind people and they try very hard to make everything right for you the customer. Best Store to buy hardware. After 10 years with a loud Honda lawnmower decided it was time to buy an electric. Spoke with Brian and Rodney who help me choose the best one and told me about the promotional extra 4ah battery that was available. That’s an awesome value because each battery is expensive. The new mower is so light and effortless with its self-propelled function. Looking forward to my next conversation with the ACE team on what EGO equipment I want next, been eyeing the 400W inverter to power my fridge during a blackout. Decisions decisions but I’m glad I can find help at Kaufman Ace Hardware.

We purchased a 20” Stihl chainsaw on September 2nd and had to to pull more than 10 times to get it to start from the first time. Ace Hardware gave us the only one they had on display without a box. The next day, September 3rd, we made the cuts on logs and the saw died after 3 cuts. When we brought it back the manager and employee who assisted us refused to accept our return of the saw. The employee who handed the phone for me to talk to the manager also made a very inappropriate remarks. She said, “ you better not have COVID” as she handed me the phone to talk to the manager. This Ace Hardware employees treated us very unfairly.

The customer service here is always superb. Today I went in and Rodney helped me for like 15 minutes helping me to figure out what I needed for a project. He was courteous, funny, and extremely helpful. The lady that rang me up was also very friendly and helpful. If you are someone who does not feel so confident in a hardware store like me, Ace will make sure they do their best to help you figure it out. Thank you so much for this morning.

Walked in needing a specific bolt. Walked out with the bolt in less than two minutes. Can't get better than that.Update: The store has been remodeled and it looks great. I love the new BBQ/grill offerings, with a wall of rubs and sauces, a wide selection of grills and smokers (even the elusively expensive green egg, the holy grail of the grill master.) Anyway, if I need another bolt, I'll update this.

The staff is awesome! They always help out if I can't find anything and it never takes me too long to get in/out which I love. The selection of stuff could improve but it's a tiny store so they can only hold so much (not the worst complaint)

I ran in 15 minutes before they closed for the day looking for what I thought would be a simple grab and go, but I had trouble finding what I was looking for that would work for what I needed, and Rodney and Brian were there helping and working with me until I got what I needed. They didn’t try to hurry me out, they were there till I got what I had to have. They were great and it was cool to see something like that again.

This is a little Ace in Kaufman, TX. So, do they have everything I need, NO! However, their customer service is allows on point. I usually only get a few steps in the store before someone approaches me and will not leave my side until I have found what I need, or confirmed they don't have it. This may be because they can see on my face I'm lost, but that is sweet of them!

Let me just start with, At one time I loved this place and could spend hours in this store! Now, I will not go back! Not sure if they changed management or what, but my last 4 trips to this store have been nothing but miserable!I am in the middle of remodeling my house and they have been mixing a special color of Clark and Kinsington ceiling paint color for me a quart or a gallon at a time as they got in stock! I went in yesterday 10-5-2020 because online they shoes to have a gallon of the ceiling paint in stock. They didn’t have any, so while in the store I was just going to put an order in for 5 gallons anyway they could get it have them mix it in the color they have been mixing for me for 5 months, when it came in. When the kid working the paint counter went to have the manager order it, she informed me that they would no longer do this for me! I explained that I was in the middle of painting my bathroom ceiling and could I just get at least a quart to finish the one room! She said NOPE! I asked her if she had suggestions and again she said NOPE! It’s not a base and we won’t mix it! Really, what would you suggest I do? Her response, “I don’t know what you are going to do but we won’t mix it!”This is not the first time I have witnessed her being hateful to customers! But it will be my last! Until there is a change in management, I will NOT BE GOING BACK!

Very well stocked full line hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable and great with helping find solutions to your problem needs. They take the time to listen and then make suggestions. Also, each time I've gone in, there are at least five employees available to assist customers. They are friendly and treat you with respect. I highly recommend this store.

Love this store. The staff knows the meaning of customer service. I called to see if they had a aluminum garbage can and he said let me check, if we don’t have it I can get one in for this Thursday! I was lucky, they had one. I started using Ace because I was tired of the hassle of shopping in a huge store, non-existent knowledgeable staff and self check out. Do yourself a favor and check out the Kaufman Ace. Discover what a full service store is like again.

Overall not bad. A little pricey but for a small town throwback that I've enjoyed seeing since I was a kid, still happy it's here. Side note....not every interracial couple needs to be followed. We pay for things just like "regular" ppl. But seriously, they have pretty good variety of things that u can't find at a Walmart or dollar store.
