I’m giving this place a five star review because you can’t go wrong with a hardware store. Sometimes they don’t have what you need, but I’m sure you can ask them to order and hold it for you. They have anything from pipes, faucets, wood, paints, and more. Your dad and hardware worker loves this place. As always, much love from Houston and the universe.

September 9 Home DepotI purchased these black rocks at the end of August in 4 separate orders. In the first order, I ordered 70 bags in which I returned 14 bags because the color of the rocks were off. When i returned the rocks, I purchased another 20 bags in store. After that I ordered 30 more bags for pick up via 2 orders. All transactions were associated with the Home Depot in Katy Fry/I-10. The landscapers had placed the rocks in the flowerbed and pathway. Less than 2 weeks later the color started to change. It was no longer a polished black, it was a gray/white. I called home depot customer service and they directed me to speak with the store so that we could find a solution. I spoke to Giovanni at the customer service desk at Home Depot in Katy Fry/I-10. He told me that other customers had a similar situation with the same manufacturer rocks and i could bring it in for a refund. I let him know that I didn’t have the original bags they were in since I got the landscaping done outside my home and that they were a mixture of 2 different brand rocks. He assured me it wasn’t an issue that I could bring the rocks in in something else and I could still get the refund. I had to call the same guys who did the landscaping to come pick up the rocks to take to the Home Depot. This labor cost an extra $600 to remove the rocks, bag them, and then to take it to Home Depot. I had made sure to ask Giovanni what time he would be at the store so that I could complete the return smoothly.The next day on September 9, 2023, Once I arrived with the landscapers and rocks to Home Depot, Giovanni, another Home Depot employee and the landscapers started to unload the rocks from the truck. One of the store managers came out and she started to say that there was a misunderstanding and that since the rocks were not in the original bags, I couldn’t return the rocks nor get a refund. I explained to her that I had already spoken to Giovanni the day prior and confirmed the details of the return. Giovanni even said to his manager that he got approval from the other manager. This store manager then called the other manager to confirm this. When the 2nd manager came forward, he exclaimed that he didn’t approve for this return and denied Giovanni’s words. The 2nd manager ignored his employee and myself, passed a racial comment and left me to deal with Giovanni. As soon as the manager saw my name on the account with Home Depot, he changed his attitude towards my situation. He even started racially targeting the 2 Hispanic landscapers that I had hired to remove the rocks and bring to Home Depot suggesting that they were the ones who messed the rocks. He was shouting unnecessarily and creating a scene in front of all of Home Depot customers and employees. He said “I’m leaving the store in 5 minutes. No one is gonna do anything and you go deal with Giovanni.” I told the manager: “ what do you want me to do with your employee when you don’t want him to do anything and he can’t return it even though it was guaranteed the day before.At the end of the day, I had to pay $600 for the labor of putting the rocks into black bags to bring to the store and then another $200 to bring it back to my house after I was denied the return. Who’s going to reimburse me for the money I had to spend? Home Depot didn’t stick to their words. Once I was guaranteed a return, it should have been done.On Monday September 11, 2023, I will be contacting my lawyer to figure out my next steps. I already notified my family and friends of the situation with Home Depot. They all decided to cancel their company accounts with Home Depot and will work with Lowes instead. I will contact my local Asian community Center and notify them of the situation. And will suggest to them that we must boycott Home Depot because Home Depot doesn’t stick to their words. They hire racist white people ( not all white people are racist) and expect coloured people to buy and spend their near earned money.

Writing this review because now we have to go back to grab the bag that was left of things we paid for because the employee insisted on checking us out at the self checkout. Just caused chaos. She was a sweetheart, but honestly why have self checkout if the employees do it. I understand theft, but just stand back and watch. So stupid honestly, not to the poor employee but shame on store policies, if you don’t trust people then don’t have self checkout. Simple.

This home depot I will never go to again .the customer service was awful. They sold me a defective screen door which wasn't cut right. I went to return it and they wouldn't take it back because it had holes where the bracket was .after 45 min the guy comes back and tell me we can't tale it back do to poor installation and which it he insulted me. They are very rude and I would take my business down to road to the other home depot off the 99.

Great place for quick supplies. Prices vary a lot compared to competitors so it is good to be familiar with what you are needing. The staff working the floor is usually polite and helpful however the cashier's can sometimes be difficult.

Visited their to get a new charger for my car vacuum. I was greeted and helped by the most awesome store manager.And got a great deal on the item. I was impressed because I don't shop at Home Depot. I guess I'm a new customer nowI appreciated him taking his time to show me exactly where to find the item. Now that's first-class customer service.

My hubby and I rented a pallet jack. A young man (Damian) was so very helpful and polite. He was the only employee at the counter and there were 4-5 folks waiting in line. He never got flustered as the line was growing. I do believe his demeanor resulted in those waiting to remain patient.I’ve experienced very good service in previous visits to store 0534 and I will say his service stood out.I hope management will recognize him and his contribution to your store.Dora Parson

It’s incredible that even though they have everything they need to mark check out lines they don’t do it. They move the waiting lines as they deem fit leaving all of us confused and pissed. If y’all don’t know how to mark/paint lines, let me know, I’ll do it for you.

I rented a flatbed truck with a ramp from Home Depot, but when I tried to use the ramp, it was locked. I contacted the rental company and they told me that the ramp was not available for the flatbed truck. This was not mentioned anywhere when I made the reservation. I had to return the truck without using it, and they still charged me the full amount. They refused to refund me or offer any compensation. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I do not recommend renting from Home Depot. They have poor customer service and misleading advertising.

I went to this location on Sunday morning and Aske them to rent me a Saw” to cut my tree”. The cashier for the rental department told me at the first that all the saw is broken and he doesn’t have any to rent. My father’s told him there is a few in the shelf and he said he will find one for us. He cleaned a saw, added oil to it and rented to me. I took it home and after 10 minutes the saw was out of oil. I drove back there for 20 minutes and told them about the issue. They refilled the saw and gave it back to me. I came home and tried to start my project but the saw was working on and off and the saw chain wasn’t working right. And finally stopped working. I drove back to the store. I told him about the problem and he said for the refund he needs an approval. I told him ok. He called some one and in a very rude manner he started to make fun of me and acted like nothing happened! I told him that I rented this saw for the whole day at 2 times I came back and forth because of the broken tool and the rest of the day I was struggling to make this machine to work. He was bullying me and was keep yelling at me. I went to find a store manager and I talked to them. They said someone will call me on Monday to talk to me about this issue.That was the worst customer service experience with Home Depot. They charged me for the rental tool that didn’t work and they were rude too.

Jonathan at the paint department was super helpful and friendly when I went to the store a few days ago. He assisted me with questions about dealing with the upcoming hard freeze. He also gave some pretty good tips as the store was out of the faucet covers! Thanks, Jonathan!

Terrence aka Rock Star has the appropriate nickname let me tell you. On his own accord he came to me as he saw I was loading 4 20 pound bags of wooden pellets into my truck and did the loading for me and returned my cart. I was so impressed with that young man. Also my check out girl was a doll. I didn't get her name but the barcode on my $5 coupon was not working for some reason. Here I just got it which she could tell by the date sent. But she believed me and took care of it on her end. What a pleasant non hassle day. This is the best Home Depot because they hire the nicest caring people.

This was a horrible moment that I can never get back. So to paraphrase, my kids (below 12 y/o), parents (mid-70s) & myself where shopping for lumber. We noticed some that we needed but was located above our heads. We saw and employee (Peter) and asked him to call someone to help us which he replied " why and no". The nerve of Peter, my father is a Veteran and deserves more respect.

Worst Home Depot in Katy. Unattentive staff more interested in restocking, unsafe (loading high shelves with only minimum area roped off. Certain store areas a mess. Disgusting. Manager should actually get out of office and see what a disgrace this branch is

So. This was a weird one. And I hate that Im having to do this. But here goes. I was in the store again today around 4 p.m. looking for PPE and other materials for an ongoing home project. I was in the PPE isle along with a few other customers and a smaller guy with a blue vest on and scared up face. I was actively trying to keep my cart clear of others while looking for PPE and had even moved my cart out of his way. I left my cart where it was for a few seconds to grab the eye-protection that I was looking for. I look over in time to see the guy in the blue vest shove my cart out of his way and it slam into another customer's cart. Im a solid 15 feet or more away. I then go to grab my cart and let the other understandably upset customer know that the guy in the blue vest had shoved the cart and I had not time to get his attention. Blue vest guy answers what looked like one of the home depot devices and says "hold on some jack**s just slammed his cart into another customer". Like a child. Other customer asks for an apology from whoever did it. I don't apologize because I wasnt the one who had done it. I walked away and was going to let it go because I needed to get back on task.I'm walking toward the garden area after grabbing another item. There blue vest guy is again. And says "not cool behavior, buddy!" I reply, I'm not the one who did it and walked away. I decided to go ahead and checkout before the situation escalates further. I let the young lady at the register know what had happened and described they guys appearance to her. Paid and went to my car.I frequently shop at this location, and staff has always been and continues to be extremely helpful and friendly. Aside from this really unnecessary and weird situation with this random completely unprofessional guy in the blue vest.

Stay away from this store if you value your vehicle. The lot has become over run with homeless and day workers. Best to go to Lowe's across the freeway, or go to another Home Depot.

Guys just be carful anytime want to get a loan or finance something thru these guys they offer you 6 months of interest free because you have to pay the loan in that six months otherwise they will charge you 1-2 thousand dollars extra.

So I went there 2 days ago there was this old man helping me his name was randall or randal he was a señior with white hair and he walked as if he had knee problems but other than all that I asked him to help me with something he did a nice and efficient way at the end he commented “I am probably gonna go to sleep i just came in an hour ago” like how are you gonna tell me that and when I checked out went to my car I have seen this guy sleeping in his car with a sort of beverage that looked alcoholic I took a picture but instead of posting it here im going to send it to corporate. Because this happen it’s disgusting and disrespectful to drink and think its okay to come back to work with red blood shot eyes!!!!!!!!!
