7:56AM I entered Salty Dawg pet salon & bakery and was rushed by employee dog barking at us. She put the dog behind the glass door, and it continued to bark and pace staring at my dog. This reactive dog was making my dog visibly uncomfortable and anxious, This was a potentially dangerous situation if I had an aggressive or reactive dog.8:04AM Gave my dog to the receptionist, and she went to take him to the kennels with her dog loose, allowing my dog to be greeted rudely by her dog loose in the bathing area. Another potentially dangerous situation was ignored by staff members.How am I suppose to trust this salon with the welfare of my dog when they deliberately put him at risk twice upon drop off alone.10:30AM Pick up experience was even worse. Dogs were left in the tub & on the table with no supervision. This is exactly how dogs strangle and die at grooming salons. Dogs were loose, playing & rough housing bumping into groomers as they were scissoring & blending touch ups on my dog on the table. The same dog was loose running around the salon, jumping on clients & their dogs.Our groomer Valentina was great. The rest of our experience was awful.

Nova first in store grooming. They did wonderful job and meet and adjust our puppy's needs when needed. So happy with cut, trim and services. Will be back again soon!

I took Willow there for the first time and from the beginning they were all very nice. They were understanding of her peeing/pooing in fear when we first walked in. They also did a great job on her groom. Thank you Valentina, I’ll be Back in 4-6 weeks ❤️ 🏽

The ONLY place my pup will come! Not only is the groom great, the staff is super friendly and treat my dog like their own! He always comes and leaves so happy. Expectations are exceeded every time I come!

Great experience every time. Groomers are always patient with our high energy puppy, Noah. If there is any issue (like hair matting) they’ve always called us before charging, really appreciate the continued care 😊

I love this place. They’re very profesional, and patient with my nervous dog. She always seems so happy when I come pick her up. Everyone is extremely nice and I really enjoy the open concept where you can see everything happening at any time. I would recommend them to anyone! My doodle is all ready for summer ☀️😎🌻

I brought my sweet pup to Salty Dawg, and I have to say this is the best my baby has ever looked. The staff at this establishment has exceptional customer service & also made sure he felt comfortable. Took Ms. Rubi Anne to the Salty Dawg today for a spa day. Beautifully designed, very clean and super helpful staff! Rubi tends to be a bit salty when I comes to baths and grooming 😏 the stylist was able to get her to cooperate, she took her time and was extremely patient with her. They also sell all kinds of organic treats and specialty foods for dogs of all ages and sizes. I highly recommend them and encourage everyone to check them out for their pets grooming needs!

I brought my doodle here for the third time. The first two times were not terrible experiences. However, today they completely shaved her after discussing a manageable fluffy look. I brush her everyday and made sure that she had ZERO mats before coming in. Upon picking her up, they had shaved her completely. There are uneven edges all over her and it is the WORST haircut I have ever seen on a doodle. She is shaved like a regular dog would be. I will NEVER bring my dog back to salty dawg again. If you’re looking for someone to groom your doodle, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

My wife and I took our Miniature Golden Doodle, Bungee, for grooming with Gary at Salty Dawg on Spring Green and were very pleased with the results. We are trying to let her fur grow as long as possible without it matting. We plan to return in 2 weeks for an inspection and brush-out.

They did a good job for my mini poodle.I have to find another grooming because they don’t accept anal gland service for dogs anymore! they said you should go for this service to vet which is impossible every time .

Very disappointed! I brought my 4 pound French poodle Buddy In for his very first what I thought would be his first grooming, hair cut and so forth. Well not the case, when I picked buddy up after two hours he looked as he did when I dropped him. I was told he wouldn’t allow the cut which to me why not use scissors instead of razors on dogs that may be frightened by the noise. Go to check out and after tax and tip it was over $80 for what is beyond me, the only thing that was done good was his nails cut and filed. Honestly when I dropped him he smelled better. Never again

AMAZING service! I saw their add once, decided to message them and they called and emailed right away. AFFORDABLE pricing! Great customer service they took my dog same day within an hour of booking. I cannot believe a grooming place like this exists! In Katy, every place is way over priced and this place is not. Fair pricing, modern clean facility, great staff with modern equipment and my dog looks great! Thank you times a million!!!

Very disappointed, my golden doodle was shaved, very short despite the fact I was very clear about the style and length, plus the fact that I was charged 25usd extra for the design that was not visible at all. According to the package they were supposed to cut the nails, they did but only in 3 out of 4 paws 😒… despite the undesired outcome the person in the front desk asked for a tip…

We took out Akita in for a bath and nail trim, and the first thing we noticed was the friendly, helpful staff. Our dog warmed up to the staff, which was a good sign of things to come. We were able to drop her off for her fluff and buff, and when we picked her up she was a happy dog with a black bandana around her neck... very cute! She has sensitive skin, so they used a special shampoo on her that smelled great, and her nail trim was very well done I liked the glass-walled spa area for the dogs, which enables owners and others to see the whole process if they wish. The whole operation was very clean and bright. Lots of treats available, and I really liked the shelf of various dog treats in lower shelf baskets so that the fogs can sniff and select their favorite. And our dog gratefully accepted the chance to sample the wares. A class act that has definitely earned our business. Already scheduled for her next visit.

Very upset about my experience. I brought in my schnauzer and he came out with nicks and cuts on his areas which caused him discomfort for days. My pup shouldn’t be in pain after a grooming session. I’m very disappointed

The place looks nice and clean, they accommodated my pup for a same day appointment, and they were very friendly and nice. The haircut itself was acceptable- being the first time they had my pet, they did a good job. I would definitely tweak a couple of things, I didn’t give them a 5 because like I said the haircut just needed a little more finesse, but just minor details, overall pretty good, and I would definitely recommend them and give them another try

I took my three dogs this morning to salty dawg and I just have to say they are wonderful! They treated my babies kindly and lovingly. And were very friendly and very accommodating, seeing as I had three dogs to take in to get their nail trimmed, they allowed me to bring in one at a time, out of my car. MY babies and I have found new place for their grooming needs.Thank you employees at salty dawg, for making it an effortless experience.

I usually don't leave reviews, but the service from Salty Dawgs Pet Salon was so good that I need to share my experience. My yorkie came back home smelling divine, his hair was the softest it has been really don't know what they put on his hair, but it is Fantastic!!! Also super easy to work with, got an appointment for the same day, definitely recommend this place !

i called with a bunch of questions before bringing my pup in, and bri was so patient with me, which led me to book an appointment with them.my pup and i were the first ones there friday morning, and we were greeted by the loveliest and most welcoming staff. bri took the time to listen to my requests and understand my vision for my fur baby. i was also introduced to healthier dog food and treat alternatives but did not feel pressured to purchase, which i truly appreciate. finally, i loved the 'report card' we received before leaving--what a charming touch. the services provided here are worth every dollar and more. we will definitely be back!

This place is awesome, all the groomer is very good at cutting! I can’t believe how fast they are , I drop my dog for a bath and 1 he he was finished and ready to go! This will be my dog groomer for life!
