I have gone to this party city specifically many times in my life and every single time that I’ve gone they’ve had most of what I needed. I will say that it is quite expensive though so it is best for me to get my party materials elsewhere and that makes me very sad because I love the world of party city. I feel like it’s quality has definitely gone down since the early 2000 and like toy stores they will maybe go out of business. I still give it a four star rating and as always much love from Houston and the universe. Ɛ> :)

I had a balloon delivery at 9am for a party I'm having at 6pm. The delivery was fine, once the bag was removed and the balloons were at the inside entrance of my house, they began to deflate. By 12 noon they were 2 ft off the floor and not looking like they are going to make it to the party. Money totally wasted. Called the store and they want me to go in and bring the balloon in which I did not have time to do since I'm preparing for my party.

Great customer service! I was in a rush to beat the predicted rain. Kylie (spelling?) helped me put together a pretty balloon bouquet for my 95 years old Grandma. She offered assistance with the colors, arranged them nicely and all with a very helpful energy. I got the balloons to the car and they would not fit, even after one popped. I was frustrated and nervous this was all going to be a flop. I walked back in with my balloons and Kylie saved the day! She replaced the popped balloon and then helped me back out to put them in my car. She was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate it tremendously! That is exactly why people return… excellent service! Thanks, Kylie! ❤️

Party City is unfortunately a store that I see being more and more phased out and I can start to see that in their selection and pricing. It seemed like they had a bigger selection of items years ago.While I liked a few things that they had in the store, I am a bargain shopper and found the items a lot cheaper through Amazon. Case in point...a 40 pack of fancier silver forks was 9.00, whereas for the same quality, I got a mixed pack of 160 pieces for 19.99 on Amazon.

I needed my balloons blown up last minute and they were able to fulfill my request! $1.40 per balloon fyi ! I also was able to purchase valentines headbands for my upcoming Galentines party! They have all your party needs! Even decor!

I ordered a big #1 and #3 as well as some happy birthday balloons for my daughter's 13th birthday. I had a late pick up because of work (7-7:30). About 15 minutes after I got home the 3 popped out of nowhere. It was too late to go back and we were leaving out town the next day before the store opened so I had to tape the deflated balloon on the wall alongside the inflated #1 for her 13th birthday pictures. They must have pumped too much air in the balloon. $14 wasted and not the pictures that I wanted! Disappointing

The ladies that work here are actually incredible. I came in with a picture from the website of a princess bouquet and one of the workers grabbed the exact balloons and even gave me a sku number to tell the cashier. Very sweet. My daughter loved them! Unfortunately two popped on the walk to the car, I do wish the didn’t though :(

Coming in person was absolutely pointless. I found an item online that was available for pick up within 2 hours. Which means it's in stock. I asked staff and they were not helpful. Just told me online must be showing wrong. I left and while still in the parking lot, ordered the item online for 2 hr pick up and would you believe it magically appeared? Annoyed that I had to make 2 trips. Appreciative for whoever the competent employee was that actually found the item.

I checked the return policy online before placing an order. It said you can return within 30 days. The item I wanted was not available near my house. I had to drive half hour to Katy to pick up. I was just double checking the return policy before leaving and the staff told me that Halloween related item would only be refunded before 10/24. After that, only store credit. I was upset. They didn’t put that when you placing an order; otherwise, I wouldn’t have spent an hour in driving. Please don’t tell me to call corporate customer service. Do your job to report it to corporate office!

This Party City has been my go-to party supplies place for many years. They have pretty much anything you can think of and the employees are very helpful. Their balloons are super cute and festive. Every time I go, it's always a pleasant experience. Thank you for being a part of my celebrations.

Just try to purchase 3 balloons today. The lady told me that they were not able to feel them up since they were only 2 and had so much to do. She recommended for me to go to another store to see if they would be able to do it and also to order in advance next time. I was kind of frustrated with the all situation and got my balloons at the Dollar Tree for a fraction of the cost. This is my last purchase at party city!

This party city does not do balloons, because they are "short staffed" meanwhile the staff is just standing around, yelling at clients we close in an hour! I just wanted 2 balloons. However they sent me to Randall's next Door. Where I was able to purchase balloons. Who sends business elsewhere?? I guess this party city does.

Great variety of party supplies. Good service. But ultimately, the helium-inflated balloons we got for a kid's party were not floating and were on the ground by the time the party came around - so it was a disappointment and not worth the money (purchased ~7pm, flat by morning).

my mom went into this store yesterday. I wish she would’ve have gotten the young lady’s name. But She went in at about 4:45ish. the Cashier had dark hair, young and she wore glasses. The man that was blowing up balloons was named Henry but I was unable to see the other person. My mother, who had just has a torn meniscus in both knees went in there to get items for my little sister’s volleyball gift basket. There was no customer service. As She was approaching the register the cashier was working with a couple so She turned to look at the rack behind me. When She turned around, the cashier b-lined to the register at the other end of the counter to clock out. Then she proceeded to speed walked past her. My mom stood there wondering if someone else was going to come to the register. There was no one else at the register and the other two people were in the corner inflating balloons. No one offered help at all. She waited a few minutes then put the items down and walked out. She will try again tomorrow at a different location. I will say I’ve been here plenty of times and the service sucks. Which is so odd. If you don’t want to provide customer service why are you working in the industry? And at a party favors store? So odd!

I love party city but this locations lacks customer service, items are not price marked, and the few staff in the store are not enthusiastic about giving customers they support they need. So many questions from so many customers went unanswered, forcing the customers to have to talk and try to answer each others questions. I was grateful I only needed a few items, and felt bad for all the customers needed help and not getting it.

For starters, Kylee if you're seeing this I was the customer who came in wanting to cancel my brothers order and the balloons that you had blown up AGAIN in the morning because my brother had done them a day early i advance without knowing and you were so KIND and THOUGHTFUL to go out of your way to make sure his wife's birthday was perfect. I thank you so much for helping me with last minute changes and making the whole day which was stressful for my family a SMOOTH and CONVENIENT transition afterwards. It's employees like you that Party City should appreciate and have their eye on when it comes to higher management. Do not let Kylee go Party City, she is truly customer service oriented and goes above and beyond! Thank you so much Kylee and i would have done this back in February but i lost the receipt and just found it tonight! Lol hope im not too late. Take care!

We got store credit on some returned items during Halloween a month ago (they refused to refund and gave store credit). Now they don't take store credit on scanned pictures with bar code and insist on original paper copy. Are they still living in the stone age? Who still kept those paper receipts?If you shop here, make sure you do not need to return anything and also keep your original paper copy of store credit and receipts. Or, just don't shop here.

Ordered latex balloons for my daughter's sweet 16. Got to the store and was informed that they lost them. The lady looked and found a couple of left overs and added a couple happy birthday balloons to complete the pack. I appreciate her effort but not the same as the one we bought. It is missing colors and not sure if it will look nice with our decorations.

I am extremely pleased with party city at this location!!! Belssy is super awesome!!! My family member party was the same night of me purchasing the balloons and she was extremely helpful and attentive to helping with the color scheme. With me being clutch with time I picked a special happy birthday and they were out of stock she was so sweet and sincere with helping me find an alternative Ballon. The color scheme turned out beautifully!!! Thank you Belssy for being a true gem..

So, I'm not sure why they are charging an inflation fee for balloons that are purchased at the Katy location, which I thought was odd bc I've purchased balloons for a party before during the summer and no fee.The cashier stated that the balloon inflation fee is not charged for the balloons displayed only behind the counter.I went to another Party City in another location and they said they don't charge inflation fees for balloons purchased at the store only latex balloons. Now there was conflicting rules so I decided to call the main customer service line. And what a joke they were!So, I called the main customer service line twice and both representatives did not have a clue about the company's policy on balloons. FYI, do not go to the Katy one unless you want to get overcharged on balloons.
