Do not believe the rating at this place. We have been here a few times and each time it's been disappointing. This last visit is the last time I ever buy here. The donut I got is so stale, dry, and OLD, it's visible! And it taste like it's going bad! Why are they serving food this old??? 🤮 There are other places in Katy that are serving fresher, tastier food. If they want to keep customers they need to do better. Also selection was very limited and meager at 9:45am on a Sunday. We've been to other donuts shops Sunday morning that are fully stocked.

I'm not the biggest Kolache's fan, but the Boudan Kolache from Kolache Bar is packed with flavor!On top of that, the staff are kind and helpful, one of the reasons I stopped in on a Sunday morning for the first time.They have donuts too!

Really great kolaches! Highly recommend. Tried the Italian Chicken Croissant, Jalapeno Popper (sooo good), Tex Mex (love that it had salsa in it), and Philly (reminded me of a Runza). Had to finish it off with a chocolate donut!!

Ordered door dash due to karma kolache being unavailable. Never again. I ordered sausage and gravy as I always do at karma. There was no gravy and was extremely spicy which is not described. I also decided to try the biscuit waffle chicken honey butter. Looked up item on previous google reviews depicting a waffle chicken sandwich. There was no option to choose biscuit vs waffle so based on picture and lack of option figured safe to assume it was a waffle biscuit. No waffle when i recieved my order just plain biscuit that was extremly doughy and undercooked. My daughter took onr bite of the donut said it was gross and didnt finish it. My husband ordered the chorizo kolache and was disatisfied as well. Chorizo and egg were cooked seperatly leaving awkward portion ratio and clumpy stuffing.All in all will never recommend or order here again after wasting $35 for such poor quality food.

At a glance it’s a very simple, family owned, very friendly place. I ordered the pepperoni kolachi and they were amazingly good I would definitely come back again to visit.The owner even went out of his way and offered my wife and I samples of other items FRESH out the oven!Definitely worth the drive!!

This is our favorite local spot! Everything is always so fresh and flavorful- whether its savory or sweet. The service is unparalleled. Careesa is extremely thoughtful and professional. We can't recommend it this Kolache Bar any higher!

Came here one Sunday to buy kolaches and donuts for a group. What a hit! The kids loved the donuts. The adults loved the kolaches. The owner was very hospitable. And the donuts were very pretty, which really excited the kids.

I would drive past Kolache Factory to come get the amazing kolaches here! I got here at around 12:30 in the afternoon so they were out of a few things but they still had a great selection to choose from. I got a pizza, sausage and cheese, Italian chicken and a Chapel Hill sausage and cheese kolache. The service here was amazing, the owner even came to say hi. They now have a customer for life!

This place used to be amazing with melt in your mouth donuts, amazing service, and affordable prices. A few months ago that all changed - donuts now taste a bit stale and the prices almost doubled. The staff are still very friendly and nice. I kept giving it a chance but unfortunately it has been too long with the stale donuts. I hope they can turn it around as it was a great place.

I have been to this location several times and every time I have truly been wowed by my experience. The kolaches and donuts they have there are amazing. They are super fresh, super flavorful, and the shop itself is kept in pristine condition. The owners are are quite possibly the nicest people I have ever met always greeting with a warm smile. My personal favorite are the blueberry donuts. Can't wait to go back!!

Gave this place two shots due to its high ratings, very disappointing both times and overpriced. First time I arrived and the store opened 30 minutes late, when I ordered they only had apple fritters and kolaches, they were mediocre. I came again hoping I just had a bad experience, had all items this time but same result, and the worst donut holes I’ve ever had.

My first time here and I must say, it’s much better than Kolache Factory. I usually go to Kolache Factory which is good but this place is great! The ratio of meat and bread is perfect. I tried the Bomber and had an old fashion donut. I met the owner and he was very friendly and told me he’s been baking for 19 years. Great place and can’t wait to come back again.

Best donuts 🍩❤️ ever!!!You can't buy happiness, but you can buy donuts. One of the best ways to celebrate is by eating a donut. Everything is better with donuts. Highly recommend this place 🤤😋

Staff is super friendly. Chicken enchilada is amazing. Jalapeno popper has a nice heat and so much bacon. The donuts have good flavor. One was still warm.... Mmmm. Can't speak highly enough about the lady who was helping us. She really helped us choose the right choices and gave us a sample since it was our first time. This place is no joke!

This is a great neighborhood breakfast place when in a hurry. It has the best homemade kolaches and donuts. I’ve traveled around the world a lot for work and can say hands down that this small breakfast spot has the best Apple fritters I have ever had. They’re perfectly thin, crispy, and packed with cinnamon flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Can’t wait to try their coffee next time.Also- they’re always throwing in an extra donut or a few donut holes to try. They’re so sweet!!

I love this place. Everyone is always so friendly and their donuts and kolaches are so good. I always get stuck getting the same thing and they’re always getting me to try new things, and it never disappoints. Today I tried the Apple fritter; it was hot and delicious. A mix between apple pie and Cinnamon Toast Crunch! I wouldn’t have tried but so glad I did.

Incredible kolaches and even better service. These people should run a masterclass in customer service because they really do such a good job making you feel like apart of their family. The kolaches are hands down the best in the city and whenever they are out I'm always sad to have to go to kolache factory because their dough is just perfection. Plus, we have small children and they are always so good to them. Can't say enough good things!

The Kolache Bar Katy had such delicious food and amazing service. The chef came out and greeted us. Providing us with samples of all the things we wanted to try. Our favorite was the brisket and jalapeño brisket. The bread was unbelievably soft. Will be coming back really soon.

There is a reason this place has 5 stars and hundreds of reviews. I've been to many kolache places around Houston and this one is amongst the best. The bread is light, the flavors are excellent, and the service fantastic. I'll be back here for sure, and recommend it to anyone who is in the area. (If you like spicy food try "The Bomber" it has a great flavor combination)
