I love the pharmacy at this location. No lines at 10:30 ish am. I was helped by a nice gentleman at the drop off ( sorry didn’t catch his name). Then when I went back to the pharmacy ( after a little shopping in store) I spoke to a very sweet young lady named Nampie but the cvs receipt shows a different name of Manisa . She was so patient, kind, and extremely helpful with a problem with my prescription ( not CVS fault but the prescribing doctor). I can’t say enough kind things about her willingness to help and her sweet attitude. Both her and the pharmacist tried hard to fill it but the prescription lacked key information. But the main point is that they went out of their way to help. You don’t find that too often nowadays and I think that’s pretty great! I tried to find a survey with CVS to recognize them but I guess CVS isn’t doing surveys anymore. Hope this helps give recognition to people who deserve it! Grateful to those who assisted me today!

They transferred my daughter's prescription and would NOT tell me why they transferred it or even WHERE they transferred it to. They said, and I quote, "We don't keep records." My Mayo Clinic pharmacy in Wisconsin called them and called me back and said that these CVS people were idiots. All she could do was laugh. She said she had never dealt with people like these morons at CVS and that it was ILLEGAL to not keep records. She sounded very concerned once we had our laughs. We had to have the doctor write a new prescription, and this was on a Friday, so my kid went without medicine for the weekend. Maddie is a rare gem. Shout out to her. She put me on hold mid sentence. Don't use this place for anything. They're trash.

The worst pharmacy, you can arrive sick on a Saturday needing to buy a prescription medicine at the pharmacy and after 6 in the afternoon it is closed. But on the other hand, you have the entire store available to buy anything, even the silliest thing that comes to your mind until late at night. TOTALLY ILOGICAL

Pharmacy lunch from 1:30 to 2 is very inconvenient, should hire enough people to keep it running. Drive thru is unbelievably slow.

Elena is the best and most patient person I’ve have ever met in a pharmacy. She can certainly answer all your questions.

Ernest is amazing! He went above and beyond in customer service with helping us with our 1 year olds passport photo. I was struggling for a week trying to take the photo at home but the photos failed and Ernest got the photo on the first shot. Outstanding! He was patient kind and very nice to our baby! Great Employee!!

Out of 3 prescriptions filled on different days, only 1 was without issue. The most important after my daughter's surgery took over 5 hours to get sorted out. After much time on the phone, they told me to head up there in the next 10 minutes to get it. I waited 10 minutes, drove up there, and spent the next hour and 40 minutes waiting in the store. Do NOT recommend.

I never write reviews. Ever. But this I felt needed one. My 5 year old son has strep. Apparently there is a nationwide shortage on amoxicillin, so I called several pharmacies around me and no one had it. I called this CVS and was put on hold right away. Not once but twice. I get it, they are busy, that wasn’t the issue though. It was the rude woman who answered the phone. She answered my question on if they had it in a way that I was interrupting her day. I let it go, thinking people just have bad days. Maybe today was a bad day for her. I dropped off the medication and the lady seemed pleasant. By her voice I knew it wasn’t the same one in the phone. Said the medication would be tragedy in 1-2 hours. Ok, no problem, almost two hours later I call to make sure it was ready. Same rude woman answered and asked 3 times for his name, date of birth. She then said she couldn’t find him in the system. I told her I literally just dropped off his prescription only two hours ago. Either she hung up or the call got disconnected. I call again, and at this point I’m more than irritated , I said I think we got disconnected and was told who is it for again? I give his information for the 4th time! And she magically found it but only to tell me it wouldn’t be ready until noon, an additional 2 more hours than what I was told. I simply asked why another two hours when I was told initially it would only be 1-2. She rudely responded back than I’ll have it ready by 11. I said fine, we hung up. I go to pick up his medicine at 11, only to be given two bottles of just the mix for amoxicillin, no liquid, just powder. I had to drive back around through the pharmacy lane again, had to wait because another car was there at this point. I get back up to the window , explained that it was only the lox. She said ,oh, sorry. The pharmacist will have to mix it give me a few minutes. The pharmacists than came to the window a few minutes later, said here you go along with a rude attitude . I know this was a long post, but I just feel like it’s very irresponsible to be this careless with medication that you are giving to people. What if it had been a new mom who didn’t know any better and gave their baby the powder mix? I know it’s far fetched but looking at these other reviews and mistakes this place has made with medication before. It’s only a matter of time before something serious happens.

George was amazing. A pharm tech made a mistake which I can understand bc she was new but she was so rude and left me standing there like nothing and ignored. George saved the day and helped out so good review to him.

I was in the line at the drive thru(09/02/2022 around 2 pm ) with 5 cars in front of me . I waited about approximately 20 to 25 minutes until my turn. JOCELYN ( don’t know if I spell it right or not ) asked me without greeting said what can I do for you? I said I need a copy of my kid vaccination records, she then staring at me and told me that I have to go inside because it take long time to wait. I said I would love too but my kid is sleeping in the car , I told her she can print it out for me and I don’t mind to drive another round and wait in the line again. Then she gave me an attitude and said it will be for an hour . When I ask what was her name , she gave me hers and hanged up drive thru phone without saying bye. This is the 3rd time I have been upset with the service of this CVS location ( including front store employees )since I moved from Rhode Island 1 year ago . I tried not to leave a bad review because I was a CVS certified pharmacy tech before, but this sort of behavior is very unacceptable disrespectful . I left the pharmacy with my kid prescription of amoxicillin and the pharmacist forgot to mixed with the water, when I call in they said bring it back and they will fix it without any apology. I received my own med with mistaken on the SIG code ( dosage and how you take it ) and they tried to convince me that was doctor mistake ( when I told them I am also a pharmacy tech , they just said ok they will fix it without apology again)I tried to use my coupon on the last day of expiration with 8 dollars off if I spend 40$ , and my total was more than 40$ but the coupon wasn’t working , they tried to tell me bla bla even-though my purchase was eligible for coupon, they just said it didn’t work and gave me an attitude .Also CVS should consider adding back the hours for your employee , healthcare job is stressful and frustrating they need to be motivate and respect

I had an issue with a gift card. The Manager, Norma, went out of her way to get to the bottom of the situation. Love this local CVS as they attend to customers exact needs! Thanks again

Manager was very rude when cashier asked him to come up and honor coupons that I had. She had verified all of the fine print and he told me to call the company because it didn't show up on his computer. I haven't been out in awhile but I guess hoping for good customer service is a long shot.

The pharmacy Manager is really nice and accommodating, we have our proscription refilled and we don’t have any issues. They were reminding you all the time make sure you will reminded if you forget. All the employees are very helpful no complaints. You gonna remember this your not the only patients that needs medication i give them alot of time unless the dr send it right away so it won’t be an issue or they fixed it right away. I give them 5 stars coz we never had any issues since they opened

This pharmacy is really irritating. We tried using them a few times because it’s close to our house, but sitting in line for over 30 minutes is ridiculous. I understand some places may have limited staff with covid, but being in pain and having a new born in the car coming home from the hospital. It’s honestly better to just go to H‑E‑B pharmacy that’s out of the way but the service is much quicker and more efficient, and that’s where we’ll be going from now on. I wouldn’t waste your time at this location.

Today was my first visit ever to a CVS. I visited due to a friend’s recommendation of finding a therapeutic item which my doctor had suggested I try. Upon entering a new store, I knew it would be a possibility that I would need assistance in locating said item. There was an Indian lady with glasses, sitting on a stool, stocking near the pharmacy. I didn’t see her name tag, therefore, I must simply describe her in this manner. I inquired where the product would be and she rudely, spouted off which aisle to look. There was a kind customer walking past me, as we’re required to wear masks at this time, so she just was letting me know she was there. I say, to the fellow customer that I don’t believe CVS carries the specific item I was searching for. I guess the store representative thought I was talking to her, when I wasn’t.At this point, she gets about a foot from my face, with a bad attitude, and asked me if I was blind, pointing to the products. I put up my hand and asked her to please step back the 6 feet, and said, are you blind, in defense, that I had made my remark of the product not being the correct one, to a customer.I asked her, with specifics this time, if there was another place that the item may be. (It has many uses so I assumed it may be located in a different area as well) She once again, spouted off another aisle it may be on. I walked to said aisle and there happened to be another customer standing directly in front of where I could see the product. Attempting to social distance and practice patience, I waited at the end cap until she was finished looking for her items. The store representative, comes right up to me again, and points and shouts, “it’s right there!!”. I told her that I was being courteous in letting the other customer take her time.Needless to say, everyone looked up due to her shouting, and the other customer had no issue in moving over for the brief moment I needed to see if it was indeed the specific item I was searching for. It wasn’t and I thanked the customer for allowing me to have a quick look. Also needless to say, I will NEVER give business to a CVS after being treated with such arrogance and rudeness. I was shocked by her behavior. Note: I went to the Walgreens, up Franz Road and found my product with complete ease and outstanding customer service, from a cashier. CVS should be ashamed that they’ve employed such nasty individuals.

I really love how much love in the employees they all have a family lunch together. Wow amazing. If someone is in urgent need of medicine must have to wait for their lunch. You won't die you can wait. They can... if they don't have lunch together. Please don't ask if they can take turns.. no Please don't break the culture of family love among them. Please keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍 👌 🙏 💪 👏

I was helped by the store manager, Debra. I was asking her a very specific question and she was giving me a very generic answer, essentially blowing me off. I felt as if I, or my patronage, did not matter. There was hardly any customers in the store so she wasn't busy with anyone else. She was short, rude, inpatient, uninterested, and annoyed. I have been coming to this location for years. Because of Debra and her poor attitude as a store manager I will no longer shop CVS, or this location at the very least. I will also be conveying this by word of mouth and online reviews. Other people should not have to be alienated or belittled when they want a tube of toothpaste or some after shave! It appears I'm not the only one who thinks this about this location or store manager.

I had a rush and a hiccup on getting a prescription for my little girl and Ana at the pharmacy was as quick as I have ever seen a pharmacist be with helping me. Not only did she call my daughters pediatrician, but she called me back with information on my prescription and when it would be ready. Thank you for the help Ana!

I came here to get COVID-19 AED test kits since I am soon bound to go travel. Checking out at the cashier, the nice lady (her name was Jayati I think) went over and beyond with customer service by telling us that I could use my health insurance flex card to cover buying the kits, as well as tell me about the CVS care pass program. Overall, this was a great experience here at the CVS!

Worst pharmacy in Katy. Slow, rude and zero personality. They will tell you a prescription will be ready at a specific time, you sit in the horribly long slow line for 15 minutes, get to the window only to be told it isn’t ready. We will be moving back to Walgreens!

If I could rate this less than one star, I would. I had a prescription refilled at this CVS this past Saturday. Despite Google's listing showing the store being open until 10 pm, the pharmacy apparently closes at 6 pm on Saturdays. I arrived at 6:01 pm (thinking I was four hours early) and found the drive-thru window closed. I rushed inside because my medication was already filled and I was completely out. Yes, I shouldn't wait until the last day, but sometimes life happens.I went inside and despite there being people IN the pharmacy behind the shades that I could see, they did not respond to my calling to them. They acted as if I wasn't there. Obviously frazzled, I grabbed an employee stocking shelves who looked to be a manager and explained that my prescription was already filled and that if they couldn't give it to me, I needed them to transfer it to the CVS a little further away that was 24 hours. He told me he "does not interfere" with the pharmacy and I'd have to talk to them. I explained to him that I had tried, but they weren't responding. He said he was sorry, but that he could not help me and walked away. So, I go back to the pharmacy to try and get them to send the prescription to the other CVS. A girl walks out from the locked pharmacy area, and I tell her I didn’t know they closed at 6, that my medication was already filled, that I was out, and that I needed them to transfer the script to the other CVS. She shrugged her shoulders at me. I told her that my medication is level based and missing it causes issues, and she responded that she “didn’t know what to tell me” and walked away while waving her hands in the air like, “not my problem."Look. I get that it was closed (again, despite their Google listing saying they were open til 10, and making no mention of the pharmacy having separate hours). But, the lack of concern or desire to help me – at all – was shocking. It would have taken a minute for the store manager to call back into the pharmacy and explain the situation. Not only did they not care to help me, but they didn’t even want to pretend to care.I called the CVS on Kingsland and explained the situation. They could not refill my prescription because the Franz CVS had already done so and it was the last refill. Because the prescription was already filled at the Franz one (where I could not get it), it was showing as no refills left. The CVS on Kingsland told me to have the Franz CVS call them. I explained that I’d love to, but that the Franz CVS staff was refusing to speak to me, and that the regular store staff also would not help – which kind of shocked the guy at the Kingsland location.Thankfully, the Kingsland location gave me a few loaner pills to get me through the holiday weekend – with no thanks to the staff at the CVS on Franz. I told the CVS on Kingsland that I wanted my prescription restocked at the Franz location and transferred to them. It might be a further drive, but no way will the Franz location ever get another dime from me. I honestly would have left CVS all together as a result if generics (and their effects) didn’t vary by the pharmacy chain. What got me the most was that these people had no idea what my medication was for. It could have been for seizures or something else that would severely threaten my health if I wasn't able to access it. It was apparent that they didn't care to know either. Luckily, missing my medication "only" causes me to have migraines from the level getting out of whack.Long story short – the staff at the CVS on Franz – both in the pharmacy and the regular store – have zero empathy and zero desire to help their customers in a bind.

Absolutely love this pharmacy and all of the pharmacists and pharmacy assistants. They go above and beyond each and every time I'm there. Always very pleasant and as accommodating as they possibly can be. It's not an easy job dealing with the public or guys like me that get there at the very last minute (sorry, I'll try not make that happen again 😳) - thanks for always being super friendly. You guys are the best!!!

Selena and Ray are working the store on Aug 30th.She told me that I needed letter from a photographer saying that the pictures that I am trying to print out are mine. I stated that I owned the camera and my cousin took the photos. She then started to question me about what kind of camera do I own and several other questions. I asked to speak to the manager and she handed the phone to Ray. Ray told me that he is not the manager and the manager would return on Sunday. I told him I would like for my photos to be released and he told me no and hung up the phone.I will be reporting this to corporate on Monday and I will no longer be shopping at the CVS.

Worst customer service. Lines are always long and staff is never in a hurry to help. There seems to be a high turnover rate as I never see the same cashiers in the pharmacy and the ones that are there look and act miserable. My previous CVS greeted me by name which was nice.

They take forever to answer the phone when they don't hang up on you. The pharmacy employees are extremely rude on the phone, and are not helpful. They are rude in person and not helpful unless the pharmacist in the white coat is there. Then they become sweet and help you with your needs.
