Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Just not so much in the deli. A few days ago, I asked the guy in the deli if they were going to make any more rotisserie chicken's. He said what's out there. I told him there was one out, but it looked like it had been torn up. He got an attitude and said, "It fell apart when I was taking it out. I'm not making anymore. " That's not the only time I've dealt with a rude employee at the deli, just the latest one was a piece of work. The prices are high but it's good in a pinch or if you don't want to drive to town.

I moved to the area 8 years ago. This is a great place to shop. It’s the only grocery store in town. Reminds me of Piggy Wiggy grocery store when I was growing up in East Texas. Staff is always willing to help out!😇 that means a lot this day and time. If you’re ever passing by Justin Texas and want a pop and chips stop on in a Homeland😇⛳️🙏

A little bit on the expensive side, but prices are fair on the majority of things for convenience considering location if you don't want to drive 15 miles further to a nearby Walmart or Kroger - they have sales on meats, and other departments pretty regularly and the quality is good. I don't recommend buying your alcoholic products here - they are definitely pretty high here.I've always been greeted by friendly workers when coming in and if you have questions about the location of items, workers are pretty happy to show you or point you in the right direction.

Johnsonville Brats Cheddar Bratwurst 5 Links - 19 Oz $7.99 !!! Tom Thumb is $6.99, and walmart is $5.99.. Be careful with this stores prices.. Under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, price gouging is illegal... knowing that the next grocery store close to justin texas is 10 miles from us. Doesn't give you the right to take advantage of us.

You'll be dazed & shocked silly when you realize what a great selection of everything they have packed in this tiny store. But there's still plenty of room to move around. Cashiers could be more welcoming, warmer, happier, more cheerful but it seems like they are all just school kids with no actual work ethic beyond showing up & getting paid. I like the store in spite of them & am always happy to shop there.

Expired items are sometimes on the shelf check the expiration dates before purchasing also had nice friendly people who are willing to help

I love this local grocery store! It’s small and efficient. I love the cookies from the bakery. Decent prices. Easy smiling service. I can be in and out in a few minutes! Reminds me of the small town I grew up in.

Our local homeland is the perfect size with adequate choices on meats, produce and cooking needs. Prices are a little higher than Walmart, however many times I can find better deals on meat and sales items. Great store ran some amazing people.

We shop here frequently we used to come in for produce it used to be the BEST. But the last couple times we have been in the produce has not been worth much and fruit flies. But i went ahead and got the rest of our groceries which was about 45-50 items it was about 6ish. I was shocked to see No registers opened. Just the self check out and one clerk monitoring the self check outThis took almost double the time to check out the machines are super finicky. Which is very frustrating. I'm sure for the clerk too. Honestly, we probably not shop here anymore. And the ceiling leaks on the produce.

The employees here are nice enough but way over priced. This is the only grocery store in town. Dollar General across the street is far more reasonable but selection is limited. Alsup gas station has great bread for $ 1.59 and 2 for $ 2.22 Check your receipt. The price on the shelf doesn't always match the scanned price. I guess they can't keep up with the price increases. Dollar General same problem.

I just want to say thank you so much to the staff at the Justin, Tx location! My mom has some health issues and she collapsed in the store The staff actually sat on the floor with her and made sure she was ok until the ambulance got there! God bless you for being there for her! She was really looking forward to getting some ice cream. I just can’t thank you enough or explain how grateful I am!

I usually don't wright reviews but I felt I needed to. I have come to this Homeland for years and have loved it. Since they have put in the self-checkout it has gone down hill. It's always crowded and they never work. The employees helped but it was better without self-checkout.

The prices are horrible here... I could only find a few items at a reasonable price and had to make a separate trip to a different store. The place is deserted with staff goofing off. There was a great selection of items, though. Unfortunately not purchasable.

This location has been here for quite a few years. Easy to get to and out of from Farm Road 407. The selection may not be the biggest, but the selections are quality. The staff is great, very friendly, and knowledgeable about where items are located.

Small store so they have a more limited selection, and prices are a little higher than the larger chains. However, usually they have items in stock that are out of stock at the larger chains. Friendly employees, especially Matt who often helps me buy my lottery tickets. I enjoy the small town atmosphere.

This store is way over priced and their deals aren't any savings. Just go up the road to Walmart or have Walmart deliver groceries to you it's a lot cheaper.I don't trust the store that keeps meat sitting out and baskets. Their deli is always full of flies. The old lady in the deli is extremely rude. All she wants to do is leave.The baked goods are gross. We got a "brownie" it was not a brownie but a over cooked thick cake.$5.75 for a gallon of milk. Most of the fruits and vegetables are old and rotten.

Customer service was outstanding. Shelves were full, prices clearly marked, the store was clean, and well lit. The cashier was wearing a mask and sanitized the food belt, counter, and her hands between customers. A another plus the sales prices are good and they have hand sanitized available for customers at the checkout counter.

People are friendly. The variety of the selection is a little bit limited sometimes but you can pick up all the basics here for a good price. Plus you can put gas in your car out front.

Well, this is the best home town grocery store there ever has been. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They're always pretty reasonable on their prices. They have great weekly sales. The produce is always fresh. The store is always clean.

Great customer service always! I was looking for some pre chopped pineapple in the deli area and a young brunette, without me asking said they were out of it but she would chop me a fresh pineapple. Overall good service!

I like Homeland, it's great that it's collectively owned by the employees. Everyone there is almost gleefully helpful. It's a tad pricey and I'm definitely on a budget but it's close and convenient.On thing that I feel is notable. I went in their last week to buy couple things and a pack of cigarettes. Later that evening I couldn't find that pack to save my life...I looked everywhere, even asked my neighbor if they ended up in her bag...so I went to buy another pack. And after paying for my pack I asked about the other pack. I told the guy behind the counter that I didn't know if I left them or I lost them. He reaches under the counter and said oh you mean these?Sure enough the gal behind the counter the night I bought them saved them with a sticky notes...that's good customer service!
