Has it all, from hardware to produce. It’s alittle more costly on most items. But one can find good on sale items. Staff and Store Manager are great. Durning the spring and summer they have plants that are sometimes hard to find at other stores. I love this store!

Nice little small-town grocery store with a hardware store built in. Really wonderful folks. Still have to drive to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg to get some of my normal household staples, but that's expected in a small area like this.

Easy to underestimate our Lowes store when you have lived “in the big city” but after a year living in JC I am endeared to Lowes. It has some real surprises that keep you coming and the service is so small town good! I’ve bought milk for a dollar (yes Lowes has an App with deals😂). I’ve bought a great Toro lawnmower for less than it would be elsewhere. Generators and heaters are in the aisles. And some things you don’t expect in grocery are here too. You can get really good brioche buns and grass fed hamburgers; 15 pound bags of super hot charcoal for $6. Produce is fresh and this summer the tomatoes were great. (ok iceberg lettuce is an inflationary marker it’s now over $4). But topo Chico and modelo especial are well stocked and good prices. A two pound slab of thick cut bacon for $8 was a real deal. The beef is good and from Texas. And they have Stihl lawn tools and good hardware selection. And there’s a lady who sells her home made tamales in the parking lot in December. Anyway if your former life depended on HEB it will take some adjustment, for sure, and you can still go to MF or FBG for a big shop, cat treats or Newman pizza. But, you can also count on Lowes, and you will love the friendly staff there too. Here’s a big pork chop on the grill from Lowes. It was great. Kinda makes me proud. 🇺🇸

Good selection and prices. Convenient for the vacationer. No need to pack the contents of the refrigerator for a visit to Texas Wine Country. Large hats, tools, beer and wine. Even had Bug-a-salt fly eliminators. If you forgot something, they probably have it. The co-located filling station has Tesla chargers

This is a great grocery/ hardware store. Full service, has a huge selection, very good prices & the staff are excellent. Of course we walked out with a dozen more items than the list.

Every time we visit the hill country we stop here. Great produce, excellent meat department, and a comprehensive wine selection. Plus, you can get weed eater string and most other types of hardware.The beer prices were a little high, but such is life.

I'm always running in to get something here. Be it ice cream or a chain saw blade sharpener, they have it! Plus the employees are always super welcoming. Great prices as well. 😁

The ladies at the registers are awesome!! This place is a hardware store too. It's mostly for the homeowners odds and ends though. Otherwise great atmosphere and kind hospitality..

A great local store with a huge selection of anything you might need from groceries to hardware - all at good prices.Besides groceries I needed some steel wool and was surprised to find 7 coarseness sizes and lots on each size. If that's not an indication that you can get whatever you need, I don't know what is.

The store probably deserves more stars but the customer service was poor enough to downgrade. Our clerk was Kathleen and she was rude to me, my husband and to a fellow staff member (so I know it wasn't just that we're not local) all within the three minutes it required to ring up and bag a handful of items. She was apparently missing her drug of choice or prescription and/or sorely needs to be reassigned to a job that requires less interaction until her personal skills improve.

We were in town for a wedding. We were unfamiliar with the area and used our phones to locate a grocery store. The people were very courteous and helpful. Great little small town grocery.

Excellent customer service. I’ve been coming for years and Tom on the Ace hardware side is one of the best! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and overall a top notch guy. Can’t rave enough about him.

Prices have tripled, or higher, on basics across the store. Costs half as much to buy identical products at HEB. They're robbing you because it's a 60min round trip to pay reasonable prices.

Good selection of products. More like a general store than a grocery store. Fishing, hunting, picnic and hardware supplies as well as the grocery items.Best thing is all the nice people working there! Always friendly! 😊

For a small town grocery/hardware store, they have a vast assortment of goods to offer. Prices are as to be expected in a small community. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful when interacting with us.

Homedepot and Randall's had a baby named Lowe's market This is a cool place if you list includes groceries and a chainsaw. Needed food on the way home from Fredericksburg and wasn't going to be near my HEB so we stopped in. Has everything you need for food and a huge tool selection. We got ribs and a paint scraper. The sale prices don't match at the register and no one was able to get that sorted out. Other than that, a good experience.

Well organized and shelves full. Selection is limited but that is to be expected for a grocery store and hardware store in a small town. With that being said I feel they have a more than fair selection of products for 90% of your needs.

This is the only place I know of where you can buy a sledgehammer and a watermelon all in the same store. Kidding aside the staff is so friendly and the store so clean and well stocked. Always a treasure inside.

Pretty interesting place. Found some really cool items and some great deals. Alot of unique items. The staff was polite and nice. I have never been to a place that had food, ACE Hardware, Western Union in it.

Never have sugar free sports drinks (ie: Powerade) even tho they say they sell out quick but hell order more, don't like going to Marble Falls or Dripping Springs just for the product

Very expensive, half the time the card reader doesn't work. I live here so I would know, so unfortunately I'm here almost every day. And VERY, VERY, expensive. I spent $200 on groceries here, had ¾ of a cart. HEB you spend the same, have almost 2 carts full. I can drive 30 miles to HEB, include the gas and save immensely. Hate it!!
