Stopped by on our way to Fredericksburg and loved our visit! Staff was sooo friendly and accommodating to our big group with 4 toddlers. It was a great experience, the sangria was very good too! Highly recommend and would love to visit again soon!

The people here are so sweet and the wines are really good. We brought our two kids and they were super accommodating with toys and such. We ended up buying three bottles because the wine was so good and the experience was excellent.

We stumbled across this place randomly and loved it!!! Great service, good wine and charcuterie boards. They have a cute little shop with shirts, candles and more. I loved the outside seating with games too!

Super adorable little tasting room. Lots of charm and character. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Lot's of outdoor seating available to enjoy the fresh air and wine. Inside is very cute and clean. Plenty of photo ops. My favorite wine is the desert wine Holly Dolly. Elizabeth was so kind and professional. Very accommodating and warm. On my second visit Elizabeth made a Vegan Charcuterie board special order for my wine tasting.

Absolutely phenomenal, cant say enough about what a good stop in Johnson City this is. The wine here is excellent. Excellent. Staff is very knowledgable. And the charcuterie board i had is 110% better than what I’ve had at your average 4 star restaurant experience. Stop and enjoy yourself in texas wine country here, you wont be disappointed.

Have seen Farmhouse for a while when driving through Johnson City. Fiancé and a few of her friends were doing a wine tour for her bachelorette and decided to make this one of her stops. Service was amazing. Large outdoor space. Inside, each room is set up with comfortable seating for your group. Carla was friendly, knowledgeable, and everyone felt at home. Charcuterie board was amazing. Look forward to our next visit.

Hidden gem at the end/beginning of 290 Wine Trail! Went in not expecting much and we were blown away by the wines and service at Farmhouse. The owners are farmers first, winemakers second and the you can tell that their grapes from the high plains are of the highest quality. Each wine we tasted had a unique flavor profile and was memorable. Sarah, who was pouring wine for us in the tasting room, was super knowledge about the wines, grapes, and winemaking processes as she is a winemaker herself. Incredible hospitality - the Farmhouse tasting room felt like sipping wine in the cozy home of some good friends.

Owners Nicholas and Katy Jane Seaton and Anthony and Traci Furgeson helped Farmhouse Vineyard realize its next natural step in its evolution, which is making wine! Their 122-acre vineyard is located near Brownfield in Texas High Plains AVA. With 16 plus varietals, it has been the grape source for many well-established Texas wineries that we have all come to know and love. We were fortunate to visit their “new-new” location in Johnson City at their house on highway 290. The previous location was at a trailer located near the 290 Vinery. The newest locale is right on Main street in a renovated classic home. Location, location, location is everything to a business and this place is spot on! The owners do have plans to relocate the trailer to this new site soon.Their expanded tasting menu consists of two flights, one has the full range of sparkling to dessert wines and the other focuses on dry Rosé, Whites, and Reds. As one of the first vineyards that helped establish Malvasia Bianca as a viable Texas grape, they have made a sparkling version called Boyfriend. The 2017 vintage has lemon grass and apricot notes that just “bubble” all over your palate. Their 2017 Revolution is a dry Rosé sparkling made from Counoise. With strong raspberry notes, it is crisp with a nice finish making this wine quite enjoyable on warm Texas days. For the 2017 Bloom Rosé, you get to enjoy a 100% Mourvedre Rosé that is light and refreshing with plenty of strawberry and melon notes. You will be in for a treat with their Marché. Made from a blend of Mourvedre, Cinsault, and Tempranillo, this Saignee style wine may be different than most Rosé’s you’ve tried, but it is equally pleasing for the upcoming hot summer. There is a lovely red blend called, Ramble on which is a melding of Tempranillo, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. It is smooth and fruit forward and we believe most red wine lovers will readily enjoy. Wine tasting at Farmhouse, will also provide you with a rare opportunity and special treat! In their selection is one of Tim Drake’s legendary wines called Assistant. This House of Drake greatness blends 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 9% Syrah sourced from Columbia Valley AVA in Washington. It is a superb dry red wine blend with a beautiful fruit finish that will leave you craving for more! Their semi-sweet dry white called Housewife is a Malvasia Bianca with nice melon and pear notes with just enough sweetness to boot. Lastly, you will get to enjoy their 2017 Sweet. This blend of Malvasia Bianca and Orange Muscat combines a bit of citrus and vanilla notes for something quite enjoyable and their sweetest dessert style wine.If you have visited the trailer before, now you have a new excuse to revisit and enjoy their expanded wine selection. The staff and owners are quite friendly and will make you feel very comfortable as they chat with you about the wines. We strongly encourage you to stop in and visit their new location and wish them well as they kick off this new phase in their journey.

The moment we walked in the door we were extremely impressed with the service and the ambiance. Had our own little room with our little family. There are some toys for the kids to play with. My wife and I each had different wine flights and a charcuterie board. We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. The service by the young lady was world class. Keep it up.

Stopped in on a whim, coming across 290 and heading back to SA. What a great stop! Super cute tasting room with fantastic service. Carla was an exceptional hostess and steered me to a perfect glass. Don't just pass through Johnson City, go ahead and stop and enjoy some great wine at Farmhouse Vineyards.

What a great place! Staff listened to what I was looking for and showed me a nice selection of moscato wines in various levels of sweetness. I throughly enjoyed the visit. Already have 1 bottle in the fridge. Looking forward to drinking it. Will definitely purchase from them again. I think they even ship!

What a hidden gem within this small city. I went to wine club and had a wonderful time. The Boyfriend was delicious, everyone was so friendly, and the entertainment was great as well. There outdoor space is nicely decorated and dog friendly. Also meeting Katy Jane and being introduced to everyone was a pleasure! Will definitely be recommending and coming back when I can.

My favorite stop from my weekend trip. This was the first place we went and we were so happy we did. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Our tasting was in the charming trailer and on top of the cool atmosphere the wine was the best we had all weekend. I am a dry wine lover and we had a sweet lover and we were all loving their selections. We ended up staying for hours! Bought plenty of wine for home. Will definitely make a stop when I’m back in town again.

Farmhouse Vineyards wine tasting boutique is charming, clean, and staffed by a beautiful husband / wife team (at least it was today 🙂). My sweet wife tried the "Elevated" tasting experience of mostly red wines. I don't indulge, but took a whiff of each and the aroma was exquisite. We are going back ASAP and will definitely be joining the club.

What a wonderful experience! Katy Jane & Britt put a ton of thought into our wine tasting! They made the whole experience so much fun. If I could give them 10 stars instead of 5 I would. This is the 2nd time I have been and it gets more wonderful every time! They also have the best merchandise as well!

We went to Farmhouse Vineyards as part of a 60th birthday celebration! This wine tasting experience was the best I’ve ever had, and I have been to several wine tastings in West Texas and the Hill Country. The wine was good, the staff was knowledgeable, and the snacks and set up in the trailer of the vineyard were exceptional. I highly recommend Farmhouse Vineyards. I’ll go back again!

Such a charming little tasting room! We love to enjoy the wonderful wines in the new wine garden. Johnson City has become one of our favorite towns in the TX Hill Country and "Tipsy" is always on the top of our list of things to do. Great job Farmhouse!

I'm a Texan that has lived in CA long enough to fall in love with good wine. Coming back home to Texas, I've been looking for good quality wines. That's the wines I found here. Please keep doing what you're doing, because it's all good. Katy Jane is awesome!

This is by far the best little place to drink good Texas wine in Johnson City! The atmosphere is just perfect and the people are even better! (It doesn't get much better than those farmers) If you don't stop here when you're in the area, you're really missing out! Keep it up #Farmhouse! I know I'll be back!
