The workers are so friendly and don't mind taking and showing people where things are and you're taking the groceries out to the cars and just really a lot of nice people out there. The stores always clean and bathrooms are always clean. Give them an A+

For anyone that shops in the Brookshire brothers in Joaquin TX please check all expiration dates even dry goods. Also double check seals on bottles like mustard, ketchup, etc. Items are either opened and put back or expired.

Not one of the employees was wearing masks. Cashier & assistant manager were so incompetent in trying to process my purchase that I ended up paying with cash. The store itself was clean & well stocked although their prices were sort of high for the products they offer (It was the only grocery store in that area). Overall a big disappointment☹

The store is usually well-stocked and is very convenient for where we live. There are occasionally a few select items that expire within the store without being removed, so just be sure to double check your dates. Even still, this is a nice place to go to for groceries.

Nice selection. Clean store. Large parking lot. The music playing is too loud . Most of the staff are nice. However, the deli manager is very rude. The way she talks to customers and employees is horrible and really needs to be addressed.

I shop at Brookshire's often. Today I went for the deli. My brother and I wanted fried chicken for a quick snack. It was good as usual.

Personally, I think it's decent for what it is. The only grocery store in a small town. However: the prices are higher because they have no competition, there isn't truly a bakery, it's a lunch counter that does breakfast as well. There isn't a pharmacy, deli, no bread section beyond French loaf or garlic bread, no slice to order meat or cheese, and I fell in this store when I was pregnant. When I notified the manager, she screamed at the woman who was mopping and obviously spoke only Spanish about not putting the sign for wet floors out in front of us. I'm pretty sure she got fired, and that was not my intention at all, but the manager wasn't reasonable. All in all, I only stop there for those rare items a store like this can stock: the sausages another user mentioned, the butter beer and RC Cola, etc.

I love that store, when we go to Louisiana we stop at the location in Texas just before we cross the Texas / Louisiana state line . I've stopped at that location I would say at least 15 to 18 years my mother , aunt. Uncle and cousins love shopping there.

Date has to be checked on absolutely everything that you buy ... From bread to canned goods to frozen foods. There is no fresh or thawed chicken ever available.. Only frozen solid. And turkey ground meat only available in 85% lean. There's no point eating turkey that full of fat. I wanted to but a few Cans of pumpkin to start on some holiday things... Every single can expired by 2 months... Out of about 15-20 cans.

It's pretty good. Although, it's the only grocery store within 18-24 miles. Everything is a little more expensive than what it would be in Mansfield LA, Shreveport, LA, or Center, TX

Friendly home town service with carry out service. Yeah you may spend a few more cents but when it comes to service that hands on brookshires has it. The store is easily laid out isles which make for a quick easy shopping experience. There is also a bakery that serves fresh food along with donuts and pastries. Brookshires also offers a pharmacy if you have medications with a drop window and pickup in case your not shopping in store.

In my opinion/book Brookshire Brothers in Haslam/Joaquin are top notch, very organized, prices are very reasonable, clean store and very Friendly and courteous service from the Employees. I highly recommend this establishment.

They are beside the Church, First Baptist of Haslem/Joaquin. And the food pantry where I volunteer when I'm not working. Brookshire also donates to the pantry. Just a few fun facts I thought you may want to know.

It's a good place for a quick shop or to come and grocery shop for the entire week or so. They have a deli and serve prepared food in case you don't feel like cooking.
