Just want to shoutout my lovely lady Kavita. Sweet and kind hospitality. Seems to be family owned. Came here looking for a few nights to sleep for work with my significant other. I was pleasantly surprised. 1 room two queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, two burners to cook on, sink, restroom/shower/tub, iron board and iron, suitcase rack, large desk, great wifi, tv with Amazon prime & you can log into Netflix, and coffee pot along with prepackaged coffee. Everything I needed was there. For about 87$ a night. It was a busy season as every motel/hotel were booked like crazy. Kavita worked some magic and was able to get me a room when I suddenly needed one more night to stay. There’s a grocery store where I got my essentials just down the road. And the donut palace down the road conveniently opens at 4 AM.

We are from Mt Pleasant and our son lives here in Jewett. We always stay here when we come to visit. Managers are always very friendly and our room is very adequate and clean. It is a no frills hotel .. no pool.. breakfast bar..etc.. etc but have a microwave and refrigerator …but it serves our purpose very well and is a nice quiet clean hotel at a very reasonable price.We will stay here each time come for a visit with our son.

Great place to stay short term or long term. They have very clean, updated rooms. The Owners are what really deal the deal. Great people. They are the best. If you’re heading somewhere on I-45 and need to stop for the night, it’s worth the little drive to stay at this gem of a hotel. You’ll be glad you did and you’ll spend less but enjoy yourself much more. Just exit at Exit 178 and head towards Jewett. You’ll see this oasis on right after about 7 miles.Enjoy.

In-room microwave and refrigerator along with the coffee maker. Nice and clean. Very attentive staff and great management. Breakfast is Awesome with a selection of eggs sausage three types of juice and one vitamin water three types of cereal with milk. Super quiet. Probably the best value for the money. The only drawback is the limited cable. But since I don't watch much television I didn't really care much.

Was nicer than I expected. Room and bathroom were really clean. Shower had plenty of water pressure, which is usually unusual for a hotel. Bed was nice and comfy. Wake up to late for the breakfast so I don't know if it was good or not. Will definitely stay here again.

This management is a complete joke. Completely unprofessional and has 0 experience in the hospitality industry. I pull up and call my girlfriend and he rudely knocks on my window and asks me what I’m doing there and I politely told him I had a reservation I was just waiting on someone and he demanded I get out of the parking lot and told me he’s canceling my reservation. Very rude and unprofessional. In a town of 1100 people and 2 cars in his parking lot I’m not sure how they’re even in business but there’s a beautiful Hampton Inn right down the road and they treat their customers the right way. If you don’t care about being treated respectfully then this is the place for you but I’ll happily fork out a little more money to not have to be treated with that level of disrespect. 10/10 would not recommend.Edit: so if you watched your surveillance was it 30 minutes or 40 minutes? I checked my phone logs, when I arrived at 7:06 PM I called my gf and we talked for 2 minutes and she hung up when she arrived on site, to you yelling at me in the parking lot. You discriminated sir you were rude from the moment we began speaking. I’m writing this review on principal; you don’t get to treat people like that when “suspicious activity” is literally me pulling in, parking and calling my girlfriend to see how far she is. Believe who you want people you either leave a review when you had an outstanding experience or when you had an awful one.

This place was total garbage from when we checked in. They gave us our room and when we walked in, it was trashed. Beer bottles and pizza boxes everywhere along with bed not made. The page says "kid friendly." That was a complete joke. The kids got in trouble for for every little thing. We got told that if we wanted trash bags for our rooms, that we would have to go to the store and buy our own. We asked for new towels and the guy up front told us we would have to pay for those. We had our baseball tournament in Buffalo so we rented our rooms for 5 days. And every day, the man up front was a complete jerk (being as nice as I can) he called the cops cause the kids where being "to loud." For anyone who needs to stay at a hotel, do not stay at this place. Not worth your time or money. Complete and total garbage. Management needs to do something different. And take down that this place is kid friendly cause it sure as hell is not.

2 star motel. I'm rating at 5 stars. Everytime we are here for business it is really really clean. The owners are super friendly. Great showers and soft beds. The biggest selling point for me is this is the only motel I've ever been to that is Pitt Bull friendly. There is a dog run area for potty breaks and a well behaved German Shepherd that lives there for friendly socializing.

Great people running this motel. When everyone was frozen in, all businesses in Jewett were closed, the manager lady made nice box lunches for everyone staying here & her husband went door to door handing them out. Not sandwiches, either...actually hot, cooked, tasty meals! Very nice people!❤Jerry McDonald

Beds are so soft and comfy. They are great with animals and allow them to be with you everywhere even in office. Maids are sweet girls and even offer to do everyone’s laundry for a small fee. Cleanest parking lot and office in whole town. They even went out and got a refrigerator that has a freezer for us since we will be here for so long.

ATTENTION BIKERS AND ANGLERS!!!! I do both. Ride motorcycles and fish. This is by far one of the better motels I have stayed in during my travels. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms very clean. If you fish there are electrical plugs outside the rooms to plug into. Also anglers when booking a room you may want to get a room at the far end. The parking lot is kind of narrow and if you don't get one on the far end you will have to unhook your trailer every night. Also bring something to put under your trailer tires. Parking lot has a slight slope to it and trailer will roll. As far as places to eat, there is a small town about 6 miles from here that has a big nice travel plaza. The town also has a 24 hour Taco Bell and McDonald's there. So to my Biker and Angler friends out there. I have read a couple of unfavorable reviews on this place, I don't know what these people were expecting in a hotel in this price range, but I am here to tell you in our world this is a 5 star motel and I would recommend it to anyone I hang around with!

If you are looking for a hotel where the creepy manager peeks at you out of the blinds and walks around the parking lot ducking in and out of behind cars spying on you and your kids, this is the place. Very rude and unprofessional with nonexistent customer service. Should have know not to stay when I reserved the room and was quoted one price and when my wife arrived to check in the a**hole manger tried to nearly double it. The rooms were filthy and not even ask for towels or trash bags if you don't have any, he will tell you to go to the store and get some. Stay away from this place.

Star rating is -5 not 1I know those people running this place do not represent Texas or any decent established buisness. My short visit at this hotel ended with me calling the police on them! Police officer was very nice on the phone and will be investigating not only the near dog attack by the owners dog but possible fraudulent activities.I confirmed reservation on the phone with staff and they said it was good to go. We show up at 1am after not sleeping for 2 days volunteering in Beaumont after the flood. Soon as we go to the side window as directed the owners dog nearly attacks my wife. The owner and receptionist grabbed the German Shepard by its tail pulling him inside and slammed the door not saying sorry. So then they told us sorry guys we do not accept the third party booking service of Travelocity even though they confirmed it with them a previous hour on the phone.My guess is the will try to push the sale with no service. I'm guessing they tell people to come and then say it's not accept so u pay a higher price or u don't stay and they charge you from the 3 party booking source.Horrible worthless owners and just plain rotten people. We drove so far with little to no sleep because so may places due to the hurricane were full and so relieved when we pulled up only for this madness. I would never advice coming here and I hope this review will save anyone the headache!( Update we did refund our money after calling the booking agency. I still feel this has been one of the worst customer experience in my life and for them to have a attack dog they can barely control at the hotel is crazy. I have a feeling something really bad will happen at this place one day. Reading the other reviews this is not a place that should be in operation. Too bad we did not look here first instead of taking Travelocity reviews to be accurate.)

Check before entering your room, ring the doorbell, I went to my room that was assigned to me and I found a sleeping person and something looked wrong, I could have been hurt, nothing happened, but the scare if I took it because I just wanted to sleep

Staff was friendly enough. We checked in around midnight. For 3 people had 2 towels and when we asked for more were told we'd have to wait until after 9am. The room itself reeked ok stale cigarettes, but for $50 it was otherwise sufficient

I stay at this hotel everything I'm in Jewett for work. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and A/C is cold. I recommend this place to all my co-workers when we travel, and all who stay are always happy. This hotel is my #1 choice when I'm in town.

Very dirty place. My sheets were never changed not once while I stayed there. The guy next to me found a scorpion on his bed and when he called management the man said he couldn't come see because he had to walk his dog! Very rude man. I've heard him make racial comments and threaten a black man just because he asked for some coffee. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO STAY!

Im beyond upset with this place. Me and my boyfriend are hot shot drivers and we got woke up to the ppl we were unloading for knocking on our door because the front desk told a stranger what room we were in . this place is a joke !! No soap in the rooms , no coffee in the rooms coffee pot but no coffee . you have to ask the front desk for it ... They should be lucky im not suing them for my privacy i stay in hotels every night and never have i been so ready to go curse the front desk like i do at this place. Im just really confused as to how they get away with doing this

Pleasantly surprised. Friendly desk clerk, real coffee pot in the room, drapes don't block the a/c, clean nicely decorated room. The upgrade to King suite was great for a few extra bucks!!

No telephone in room, door didn't lock correctly, the bathroom fan made real loud noise and the water stunk. Ac unit was covered in dead bugs and debris didnt turn on because I didnt want all that stuff flying around the room. Water is really bad make sure you take a water bottle to brush teeth if you do end up staying here.

You can try other motels and I travel all month long and these folks are absolutely the best place that I have stayed with, good service, good food friendly to work with and really care about their customers. They deserve a lot more than 5 stars. Thank you all so much for treating us so well.
