This was incredibly fun. You stop at the gift shop to get your tickets and feed. While you're in there, play with the birds. We held the two cockatiels. There are a ton of animals in the gift shop. Birds, monkeys, lizards, an axolotl, hermit crabs, a dog, tortoises, fish, ferrets, sugar gliders, and a few more. The people are lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wish I would have brought my phone in with me to take pictures.I did get a lot of pictures of the animals in the safari and petting zoo.We'll be back ❣️

This was such an amazing experience!! The safari is very nice and clean with a ton of range for all of the animals! It's not like a normal zoo where the animals are so caged in and abused at all. I took a lot of photos on my Canon camera. The animals were all so precious! The drive thru for all the bigger animals was such an amazing concept. I got to see all sorts of animals and was able to feed them with the food I have bought. It is a very family friendly place. Kids would love it as well as adults. The workers were extremely nice and very smart. If I could give more stars, I would!!!!

We love this place! Been twice already first time we had a large group and reserved the covered wagon!! Amazing! Second time drove through because we had my 88 year old mother, she loved every minute!! The lady that runs Lonesome Dove is amazing!

Fun, lots of animals inside and out. No more expensive than any of the other drive thru but petting zoo, inside animals to hold and train ride all included. Grandkids and us really enjoyed it.Restrooms: Inside gift shop, you will need to wash up after feeding the animals

Have tons of pictures and videos!! First time visiting with our 15 month old and will be back VERY SOON with our 3 teens! This place is exactly what I expected. The people are so friendly and the animals are so cool! We bought 5 bags of feed and took 5 trips around the park! Worth the price and drive from Bossier City, LA. 10/10 recommended!!

First time here. 2 adults. At first the deer did not want to come to the car to get their feed. Then we encountered the big boys..and the fun began ! We had so much fun feeding the animals. The train ride was fun too. Plenty of bathrooms and the gift shop sells sodas, water, gator aid, and Monsters.

We loved the experience here from the animals to the pumpkins to the people. We took our children and grandchildren for a total of 14 people and we explored everything even the giftshop and everyone was so patient with us. 7 kids 6 and under can be quiet a handful but no one ever made us feel like a bother. We felt welcome and enjoyed our family outing. We will definitely be back

This is an awesome Safari and petting zoo on way from Marshall to Jefferson. We saw pretty much every animal. I am a zebra fan so you would see lot of Zebra pics, they are so pretty!Entry per person is $17 or something around that. You can take as many rounds inside as you want in the day..Onsite toilets are availablePetting zoo is in a separate section that we didn’t do.There are 4 roads that are marked by arrows to follow and we see animals on the way. They are so much used to cars that they stand next to car window to get fed. You can buy feed on-site as well.

Didn't know what to expect but we had a lot of fun. The camel was super friendly and eager to get the food. Donkeys, zebras, llamas, a cow & a goat all came up to the window. The buffalo came down later and we were able to feed them through the fence. The camel at the petting zoo was really friendly too. Can't thank the lady running it enough for taking the time to talk to us about the animals & also talk with our kids about them. We spent an hour or so & plan to go back.

Kids and wife had a blast. You pull in, pay at the office, get some feedbags for the safari and feedbags for the petting zoo.The ostriches and emu may pinch your palm while eating food out of it. They did not peck the car so that's cool. Goats and emu/ostrich will crowd your car. The deer may approach the car if coaxed with food. The ducks are voracious. The miniature goats are pretty gentle when eating from your palm. I did not try the kangaroo since he can reach and grab you lol. If you like handfeeding animals then this is a great place. Have some good reflexes.

This is by far one of the best places to see some cool animals. They are fair in prices and the animals are amazing! Most of them come up pretty close and some will eat right out of your hands. We will definitely be going back in the fall when they will have more going on.

We had a wonderful experience while hanging out at the Lonesome Dove. The animals are in your face friendly. The staff is amazing and one of the most welcoming we have ever experienced. A super fun time with anaimals for all the family. You wouldnt want to paas this one by. Getting to hand feed exotic animals is alway a great way to spend your day.

My family really enjoyed visiting this safari. You drive in, pay and buy a bag of feed and you follow the Yellow or Blue trail. Lots of animals like bison, camels, donkeys, goats, deer, alpacas, zebras, emu/ostrich, cattle of different length horns, and more. My kids had fun feeding the animals out of the window.They also have a small petting zoo where you walk up and feed the animals through a fence. The gift shop has restrooms. The employees are really nice and the animals appear to be well cared for. Reasonably priced.I saw some nice cars entering this park. The driving paths can get pretty muddy and some of the horned animals can scratch up the car if their horns hit the car just right.

We had my daughters 4th birthday party here and it was so amazing! We rented the wagon to pull us thorugh the Safari and it was awesome. The train and the petting zoo where a hit as well. The party barn was super cute and perfect for our little party! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Nice roadside attraction. Drove past this place multiple times. Glad I finally stopped. The kids loved it. They give you much bigger feed buckets than other safari's, so you definitely get a better value on the feed. You are allowed to drive around as many times as you like. Afterwards you can park and visit their petting zoo. They have buffalo, camels, antelope, moose, pigs, ducks, goats, donkeys, long horns, ewes, zebras, and more. Most of the animals will reat right out of your hands. A very cool experience. Super friendly staff as well. I was too busy enjoying the animals to take pictures.

This is a great place for the family. We all enjoyed the drive thru safari. Everything is laid out well and gets you up close and personal with the animals. Young man working in the office was very polite and helpful. A definite good trip.

This place is small but very nice. A lot of animals to feed from your vehicle and at the petting zoo. The staff and owners were extremely nice and helpful.My whole family had a great time.We highly recommend this place!Very family friendly.

Absolutely love this place!! I brought a couple of girls from our church here and they had a blast!!! They loved everything ☺️ I'm bringing my niece and her children today and so anxious to know if they will love it (I'm pretty positive they will 😁). If you have never been here you must!!!
