I may just drive to Georgetown next time. I was very nice to the cashier and asked her when she had a chance could she remove an item that was double scanned. There was a few people around and she said “No..not if I don’t want to” and let me stand at the self checkout for a bit. Yikes! Sorry I asked the wrong employee for assistance.

This is a great Dollar General! Lots of well organized inventory. Truly some of everything! We came here for Azos after the grocery didn't have it. They had quite a selection of pharmacy items.

Went here for the first time today, since I’m new to the area and the lady at the register who was a new employee and had only been working there 2 weeks so far was exceptionally nice and kind. The store has a variety of items, most items are reasonably priced but some are a bit over priced. I’ll be back!

My family and I really like this Dollar General. The people including the manager are very nice and they really know how to show good customer service. We will keep shopping here. Love it!.

I went looking for wrapping paper. I found a good selection and a few ribbons.This store is packed with all kinds of stuff. I'm sure there are plenty of seasonal selections too. Be prepared to spend time and hunt around.This particular store was a little tight and a bit messy. There were also many shoppers which may explain that. I imagine covid has altered availability of supplies. Dollar General still offers a lot of low prices necessities, gadgets, and home goods. It's great to have that close to home in this little community.

I love this place! I had a lot of stuff so I waited until no one was in line because I knew I would take longer- but as usual- everyone decided to get in line as soon I unloaded my stuff. I could hear the impatient person with there obnoxious kids complaining how long it took and thought to myself how I waited etc so she needs to get over it.The place was packed with stock and when I left the place I noticed yet another truck pulled in with more stuff for the store! They do their best to unload and help people at the same time.I like the place.

The cashier's are quick friendly and efficient. If you find someone on the stores floor they are always helpful. The store has been recently remodeled so the store has fresh fruits and vegetables. They keep it clean and have a decent stock to space ratio.

I really like going to this store. Its clean, well stocked and if i can't reach something, I never have a problem finding someone to help me. And they never act like I'm bothering them. The staff is just really friendly. Always smiling, even the young men (i think there's 2 guys). High 5 for this store manager! You really have a great team!

I shop at this dollar store all the time. It's just right down the road from my house, so it's super convenient. However this place is ALWAYS busy. There is always carts of stock blocking the stuff on the shelf. This makes it next to impossible to even take a shopping cart throughout the store. You literally have to move the stock carts out of the way of the shelves in order to get what you need. Extremely frustrating, but a couple of the workers are real friendly.

I've been to several locations, but this one is my favorite. Very clean and well organized. So many different things to look at. Lots of selection and great prices. It almost reminds me of a mini Walmart. You can get everything here from food, home decor, kitchen items, cleaners, toiletry and bathroom items, home organization, office supplies, even gardening items! Cant wait to go back and see the new things they come out with in the future!

Dollar general is awesome for quick items. But super crowded for store space. The one on lamar has a nice lay out and not crowded. So if that store can look amazing why cant the other stores utilize there store space better. Other than that dollar general is an okay quick stop store.

The store is great all though sometimes they lack of a lot of stuff.Staff is friendly never had a problem but, I went in today around 3:30 and the manager was absolutely rude. First of all didn’t want to sell me some items and than I asked for a box where the stuff I had purchased wore and just rudely said NO and looked at me like I was crazy or stealing. I’m not a rude person AT ALL so I kindly said okay thanks.Her attitude needs to improve, she could have just said no sorry but decides to look at me ugly. I really felt uncomfortable that not a good way to treat people.So upsetting since this is the dollar store around my house.

Good inventory and friendly staff. However they usually seem to be understaffed which creates longer waits in line. Also, the beer in the cooler is just as cold as the beer outside of the cooler. Also, Verizon gets terrible service inside. Still a great store though

Just got out of the emergency room with my wife and had a very long night and instead of going fast food we wanted to pickup a snack and go sleep in our bed. We didn't notice the store was closed because the doors were wide open. One of the ladies who was a taller white lady with glasses in there said,"sorry we're closed" and so we said ok and started to walk out but then the other lady who is a shorter Hispanic woman decided to open her mouth with a snippy attitude and comment saying," there's a sign on the door". I don't need this that early or anytime really. I'm not trying to barge in and ruin the renovation of your store has going on but the added on comment wasn't needed.

Wonderful store. I have spent many hours and many dollars! I can say the prices on the items are great. I prefer shopping at this location. I had to make an emergancy stop at the "Family Dollar" on Georgetown. It was messy and the prices on the standard items I purchase were much higher. That makes me appreciate my local Jarrell Dollar General Store even more. Also Dollar General brand Clover Valley are really good quality. 😙

I love Dollar General. They added fresh food, so you can pick up an onion or some lettuce at the last minute. It's also like a treasure hunt. I found a step stool that I've been looking for the other day for only $5. They had rolling coolers for only $25, when everyone else was selling them for over $100. Tuesday is restock day in Jarrell.

The store always seems understaffed but well stocked. The freezer wasn't working properly and my ice cream was half melted before I reached the counter. It always seems to have a 10+ min checkout wait as they only have one slow cashier working at a time.

Of the many times I have been to this store I have received great customer service. However this evening I was absolutely appalled by Sydneys behavior. It was promptly 5mins before closing and she told a customer “you need to hurry and figure out what you want”, this Mother was there with her 3 children shopping for candy! Candy at 9:55, like seriously, they didn’t even have a shopping cart for her to have hound them! Not to mention she was mopping with no sign out to indicate that the floor was wet. She was very rude in her constant reminders that the store will be closing soon, she ended her response with “we have a life too”. Regardless you are still on the clock and if the business demands more of your labor, you shouldn’t complain! This is the only considerable convenient store in this town. How disgusting and arrogant of her.

We go in Dollar General a lot & our family that visits us here also shops in there! I don't know what it is about the women employees but they are so unfriendly even if we say Thank you & have a nice day, we get nothing back but Rudeness. The men employed there are friendly & always thank you. I'm sure this will go unread but we had to speak up finally.

The Dollar general in Jarrell is full of employees that are not very kind, with no customer service skills. They seem like they are barely alive. However if you don't care about that. They usually have what you're looking for, at an only slightly marked up price. Two stars is generous.

Well, it's a dollar store, yet many items cost more than a dollar. I find this quite peculiar. Thus far my experiences here have been very average, I rate it a meh. Great place to grab something fast and cheap, just don't get cash back because you'll have to.pay a BS convenience fee.

They probably have what you need. I've been able to purchase life's staples here; bread, coffee creamer, milk, butter, eggs and ice cream (LOL). Expiration dates were into the future and nothing has been moldy or stale.

had a horrible experience at this store, line was backed up and when I asked en employee to open another register, he was extremely rude and said just because he is going to open it I still had to go to the back of the line anyways. I had only one product to purchase and the next customer in line, was kind enough to let me go ahead and check out at the register, the employee at the register got really irate and started making rude comments towards me,, "your not better than anybody" , "you think your to good to be in line!!" My response was just telling him to let it go, not a big deal, but he kept arguing about it...I finally asked to speak to a manager and He Informed Me That He HE WAS THE MANAGER...,Jeff I think?. He would not give me his last name.. I will not be entering Dollar General Store # 12692. horrible customer appreciation...

It's a very convenient store and has a little bit of everything you need here .. prices are reasonable for the most part and they accept all types of payments like EBT and have western union and fed ex drop boxes..
