Great to have a local hardware store!! They were nice enough to cut/trim two metal kickplates for me, and helped find some odd screws I needed that would work with Hardie Board. They also carry all 3 sizes of air filters for my house!Great local store. Decent prices too. Photo is of the kickplates.

Went in a couple of times. Didn't feel very welcomed. Don't know if I was different from their usual patrons or what the matter was. I think I and my money can find more diverse-friendly places to patronize. The local Tractor Supply Store is more accommodating to EVERYONE!

I have gone here on three separate occasions to purchase a few things for a table I'm building for my home. Each time I have been "helped" for lack of a better word, by a different individual. Each time it has been an unpleasant experience. Very non-welcoming and non-friendly staff, at least towards me. Maybe it's the way I look (tattoos, gauges in my ears, etc.) but I feel treated much different than a paying customer should when I am there.Growing up in a construction family (my father owns a very successful construction company) I have naturally been to many local family owned and operated lumber yards in the Central Texas area. Absolutely every single one makes you feel at home and welcome - I cannot say this about Danek Hardware & Lumber.I recently moved to Jarrell in the summer and want to support the local businesses but I can say that after this last time of going into Danek Hardware & Lumber I will unfortunately not be able to support this one. Such a shame as they have a rather decent selection of tools and materials - hence why I am giving it two stars instead of one.

I have been here twice since moving here. It's a pretty nice little hardware store. Quickly found what I needed with fast assistance from employees. Super nice people, good conversation. The prices may be higher than lowes or home depot but you don't have the long drive. Danek's is an invaluable resource for Jarrell. I will continue to support them by shopping there when the need arises.

Excellent customer service. I was in jarrel fixing a small plumbing problen when I ran out of PVC glue and a couple of other things. I found everything I needed at this store. I was so happy that I didn't have to find a Home Depot or drive all the way back to my house to get what I needed. I will be coming back to this lovely little store

Nice local place, all the basic things you need from garden tools, to lumber,and hardware. A good selection, and decent prices. I bought a 50ft garden hose here with tax it was better quality and cheaper than the major national retailer located just a half mile north, in town center. Which had nothing in stock. It pays to shop the local businesses.

You will find everything here. A great variety of tools and materials. They are just not the friendliest. No one really smiles in there. Oh well, that doesn't hurt my feeling but it does make a difference when wanting to ask for help.

Amazing as always. Clean, friendly, reasonably priced and knowledgeable. Annual purchase of healthy tomato plants. This year we got 6 of everything to keep the boys busy and contributing to the family.

Grumpy. No personality. The most unfriendly establishment in Jarrell... unless your a local, they could careless about your business. I've stopped in several times and received the same treatment everytime. Today was the last straw. I'd rather drive into Georgetown and visit Home Depot before darkening these doorsteps again.
