I have avoided leaving a review for this store for quite some time in hopes that it would get better. But this store has been in this situation for years. There is barely room to walk and looks like they are under construction. The isles are completely cluttered and disorganized. Don't bother getting a cart because it cannot fit. I think it's a hazard and an accident waiting to happen. Coolers are usually nonworking. You really can't use the coupons or rewards because they are usually out of everything. Or it's in the many unopened boxes and crates lining every single aisle and corner. Prices are high especially since you can't use your coupons. There is constantly a wait at the register since there is usually just one worker. If there is more than one worker, you still have to wait for them to either notice you, in between the constant griping or one is in the back and the other is outside smoking. I don't mean to be harsh but this is a never-ending cycle. New management comes in promising things will change then new management is no longer there and another steps in. I'm not sure what is the issue but I'm going to guess it's understaffed and overworked. Then the customer complaints I'm sure do not help. I'm going to have to start using a delivery company or find another location to do business. I'm a couponer for necessity and I cannot keep justifying the financial losses just to shop local.

OK well I just read others reviews it seems there is a clear record that this dollar general has is having the reoccurring problem granted let me say the positive it has more of a selection then other surrounding stores BUT their customer service was beyond horrible there was a line of 4 and still the worker walks by with no care in the world they were all in the back stocking with do regard to its customers The Crazy part is I was there to look for fall decorations I noticed that there was no clearance I simply asked them if they had their fall stuff on clearance and she said no I then asked is there some kind of difference in the stores and their clearance because Hillsboro store was on clearance and she didn't even budge to assist me and said that she wasn't aware of that and if she was she didn't see it first item my scanned was already 50% off so therefore she is not on her job and is not promoting The right Prices pure lazyness

I love coming in here. Majority of the time I leave buying something and not what I came for lol. The ladies are awesome too. I wish they had better working conditions bc the ac was out and the longer u was in there, the hotter it got. Texas is and have been too hot to not have ac

There were 3 employees and refused to check me out at the cash register. I was standing at the cash register for 10 minutes and one of the workers told me to use the self check out. I just left my groceries at the front counter and left.

I was in the store this morning and an item rang up twice. I tried to get someone to come help but they didn't so I walked out. I will not be going back!

Cashier was great. Rest of store was a mess. Couldnt get up and down the iles cause of everything in around iles. And was not clean. And manager is not nice. I had applied was in a wreck and didnt get my car back till late Saturday. And couldnt start till July. And said that. Still didnt understand. And was not anough pay either.

Close to the loves truck stop. Manager and other sales associate were very helpful. Looks like the truck had just dropped off there monthly delivery. Will return.

The store in Italy, Texas is a disgrace to your store reputation. It's nasty, unspoken, the store manager Corey is very rude. He answered his personal cellphone and carried on a conversation while working the cash register. When I confronted him after the customers behind me were complaining he finally got off the phone and was even more rude. I will never shop at this store again.

Pleasantly surprised. Clean but Cluttered facility. Staff pleasant but not fast... however, store provided the exact 2 things I needed and couldn't find at other local dollar store!

I really like shopping here there's always new items in food and seasonal items such as swimming pools and garden figurines, potting soil and garden tools. Nice staff and friendly people in the area always helpful. I would highly recommend shopping here.

Very pleasant experience. Manager and cashier very helpful and friendly. Spent 50 bucks and everything was a bargain. I could easily spend 150 in here, great selection and great prices.

Me and my wife have to visit Dollar General occasionally we where I'm at try to do what's right the Dollar General employees don't wear their mask and the allow people in without a mask when it gets a little annoying sometimes when you go shopping I know that you're running the risk of getting the covid-19 because of negligence a manager part by not enforcing the mask thank you
