I have never had this type of experience with a grooming service, but this has been the worst and most traumatic for my dog thus far.Due to their carelessness and poor employee training, Petco Grooming severely injured my dog in two spots while giving him a haircut on July 23, 2021. When I was called to be notified of the incident, I was told he received a “minor cut”. I was shocked when I arrived to pick him up and saw for myself. Once we got home, after further inspection, I noticed he had another cut under his arm.I didn’t have to pay for the service, but I was very frustrated when trying to get him medical attention after the incident. The employees told me that I could NOT go to their in-house vet (which would have been the most convenient thing to do) and that I needed to find a vet on my own and only if the bill was under $150, I could call them and they would pay over the phone.How can a business as large as Petco have such poor customer service? They should be better prepared for incidents like this. As a marketing professional, the last thing you do after a wrongdoing, is inconvenience your customers even more.I will never bring my dog back to this location and I’m hoping he hasn’t been traumatized from his experience

Ryan is my dog's groomer and she loves him. He is very professional, detailed, and great with Biscuit. He does an amazing job on her hair and we are very happy with his grooming knowledge. He is awesome on every level.

The girls always do a wonderful job at taking care of my old man. He’s so happy and has a huge grin when leaving fresh and clean. He’s 12 years old btw. I love to tip them well because the job is always so great.

Our fur baby has intense anxiety so it's a major relief when we find the right providers who can take care of her. Brittany is phenomenal! She's taken care of our dog for over 4 years, and we are so grateful for her.

Ryan did an amazing job on my pup! I've taken Ryley to a couple of different Petcos with usually an average service (one way below average) but Ryan really knocked it out of the park! He trimmed her nails nice and short and she was so soft and fluffy when I got her back. It's been almost 24 hours and she still smells amazing!! Thank you so much!!!

The women who work there were so kind and understanding. I’m a new pet owner and didn’t know a few things when it came to grooming. The women were patient and informative. My fur baby got a full spa treatment and looked like a brand new animal (in a good way) when I came and got her. We will definitely be coming back!

Our dog Lucy is always extremely happy after getting groomed at Petco. I can tell Lucy is very comfortable with the groomers, and is not afraid (which has happened in the past at other places). I appreciate that the groomers take their time and do not rush her, since she is older and can be timid. I have used Juana the past 2 times, and I am very satisfied with the great cut, professionalism showed, and overall happiness of our dog.

When cutting my dogs nails they sliced his paw </3 & still had me pay smh also they never even began to cut his hair, so what was he doing there for so long??

They did a great job on Oliver, and even surprised us with a unique face cut that makes him look super adorable. I love that they offer a cageless service option because our neurotic doggo isn't NOT a fan of a cage.

I had a great first experience with this Petco location when I was visiting Texas. I moved to the area just a couple of weeks ago and decided to stick with this location as it’s the closest and they did an awesome job.I went to my Petco app and went through the booking process. I chose this location for 8:30am (this time was provided to me by the Petco app). A few minutes later I receive my confirmation email with my details.Day of appointment I head out with my pup around 8am. I get onto the site for this location and see the store opens at 9am, but grooming opens at 8am. This was perfect as I was going to be there a little before my appointment time.I get to the location and the lot is empty. I’m thinking this is a bit weird, but also seems normal as the Petco itself isn’t open until 9am. I unload my pup and walk to the door thinking it will open so that I can get to the grooming area. Nope. Instead, I see the hours posted on the sign inside the door stating store hours are 9am and grooming hours are also 9am. This is not what the site provided me nor the app for grooming. I shouldn’t have been able to book an 8:30am appointment for this location if they weren’t open. Seems to be a miscommunication on someone’s end about the store hours. I don’t know how this works between Petco and it’s stores, but someone is off.Of course, I’m frustrated. No one is in the store so I can’t get a phone answer. So, I called the petsmart down the street and they were able to get my pup in by 8:30am. I drove her down the street and had the service done there.Again, I had a good first experience back in January, but this was frustrating. Especially as this was on my route to work and only put me back. I booked this appointment a week in advance and was not notified at any point that this was before the store was actually open.Please fix this!!

My dog does not like everyone at all and does not like other dogs at all. Nonetheless he has allowed two different groomers to clip his nails while he does not for my husband and I. Additionally he is calm when other dogs are in the room. I loved most that the groomer turned my dog's head so he could stare at me the whole time while getting clipped.

My Yorkie has a collapsing trach but like all yorkies she has the backward sneeze. The groomer waited until I tipped her to tell me they would not groom her again because of the sounds she was making while they were grooming her. If they were concerned about her breathing why did they have a leash around her neck. No other groomer has ever had a problem grooming her. I intend to tell everyone I know not to have their pets groomed there or shop at Petco. I guess I normally use higher class groomers than Petco. You should get real groomers

Was a customer- no more.Last time they did not accept my dog ,because they said he is not up to gate with vaccinations which is not true.And they did not accept my cat,because I made an appointment online and did not call.Well..Thats enough for me to look for another groomer

I brought my pet in for a grooming appt and after picking her up I have decided to make this location her new home instead of taking her over to lovers and university were her last grooming appt was horrendous the cut was half done and still no word from anyone on rectifying the problem.
