Took my dog to Petco Las Colinas for grooming. Bailey is a havanese and she has a crazy patch of hair on the top of her head where her hair grows different directions. Ashley at Petco does a wonderful job taming my dog's hair! Ashley does a reverse cut on my dog's hair and it works like magic. Now my little Bailey looks like a proper pup. Thanks Ashley!

So disappointed in the today’s grooming services. Not only did they overcharge me for my dog’s appointment, they also cut her beard waaaay too low.She does NOT look like a schanuzer to me at all and instead of explaining the why behind it, the man in the front told me “I hope your day gets better.”I hope you don’t have to experience such a horrible haircut for your loving companion.I will be reaching out to corporate!

Too much waiting for a single person instead of one handling the "case" 3 of them are handling it so there's no reason for the wait nor the line at that store.I am also subscribed to Petcos services for $25 a month for your system to tell me my pets shot is due 6 days after it is suppose to be scheduled.and if we're getting a "planned" shots and / services isn't that suppose to technically set the next appointment dates for their shots instead of me "scheduling" it online where at that one point, the 1 person we were waiting on SCHEDULED MULTIPLE TIMES AND OCCUPIED ALL THE TIME SLOTS FOR THE DAY.

I like this store, but I was very disheartened to see that you guys have a guinea pig alone in an enclosure by itself. That is considered torture to a guinea pig. (If you don't know this, that's concerning. If you know this and still allow it, that's a whole other problem.) In many countries you can't buy only one guinea pig, because they die of loneliness. Please do right by the guinea pig and get a friend or I will report to authorities.

We have used this store for years. but when I took our dog in this time they said there could be a large hematoma blood clot in the ear from grooming the ears. I said that has not happened before. the groomer cancelled my appointment. We called the manager and she said this has been happening a lot lately.

I am homebound and have tried three time to order something by phone and have it picked up for me.I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM ANY ONE AS STUPID AS THESE PEOPLE/ EXCEPT FOR A LADY NAMED MARIE.I'm sure there are some pet stores in the area that train their people better.

Usually we have a great experience with this location, but the last time was a complete let down.The Vital Care discount wasn't applied correctly so we had to drive back to the store again to get it fixed. When my roommate went to go get the refund she encountered one rude employee that proceeded to tell her she needed to try harder and be more aware of store policy or take it up with customer care... Even though CC advised her to return to the store as each has their own policy. The Vital Care discount not being applied was in no way her fault, seeing as she wasn't the one paying for it, I was, and I told my cashier that we'd be using her Vital Care account and give him the necessary information, only to be charged full price anyway.To make matters worse, our dog seems to have been injured during his grooming session. His paws were swollen and so sensitive when we got home that whenever he put weight on them the wrong way or stubbed them he would literally scream. He's a Shiba, but these were way worse than his usual screams, the last time I heard him yell like this was when he fell on his face from the sofa as a puppy. He's been limping since Friday we had to call a new vet for advice since it seems we likely won't be taking him here for anymore services.It's sort of nauseating in hindsight, because we were wondering why his appointment was over so quickly and even joked about it with another associate before leaving the store. Also, looking at other reviews, it seems like other have had issues with Eric G poorly trimming their dogs nails too. I feel so let down by this experience, will definitely read more of the reviews next time, not just recent ones.

The Banfield Pet Hospital inside of this Petco has committed fraud against me & im ready to take legal action. The hospital allowed someone to sign up for a payment plan under my name & reported it to the credit bureau. I have NEVER signed up for a payment plan. I called Banfield corporate and they refused to send me the paperwork they sent to the credit bureaus showing my signature. That’s because a document with my signature doesn’t exist. I disputed the credit report & Banfield somehow confirmed it without my signature/consent.took my mother’s pet to banfield to get a rabies vaccine & grooming. I paid for the service out of pocket. This occurred approximately 2016-2017.Years later in 2019-2021 my mother took her pet to Banfield for a separate visit. At that time my mother signed up for a payment plan. Banfield allowed my mother to sign up for the plan under my personal information instead of using my mother’s information. I never signed up for any payment plans & Banfield does not have my signature on file for a payment plan.Banfield failed to do their due diligence by not asking for proper identification to verify the right person was at the visit. This behavior is unacceptable, neglectful and abusive. The debt is not mine.

DO NOT USE THE GROOMERS!!! I came here for years until I witnessed how rough they are with your pets, I stopped bringing them in. But every time I stop by to get supplies I am disgusted and hurt of how they treat the pets while being groomed. Today I walked in to speak to a manager and asked for the name of the woman terrorizing the poor dog in this picture, and they did not give me her name (if this is your dog please stop bringing him here this happened on Sunday 11/20 at about 11:50am- small white dog)The groomer has dark hair I believe red highlights and a round tattoo on her arm, her picture is not even on the board. She put the dryer straight to his face in front of the poor baby’s nose and I can tell he was having a hard time breathing. Everyone knows that you do not use a dryer directly to a pets face. It was horrible, truthfully tears came down my face and the manager just said if I needed a hug… clearly they don’t care and will not do anything about it. If you care about your pets don’t put them thru this horrible experience.

I got to pet a kitty one of the store associates took out of the cage to play with. I was looking for a Kidney Care cat food having just found out my cat has kidney disease. I learned that type of food is not available in stores but the associate recommended urinary tract care food in lieu of Kidney Care food which I later learned was not a good substitute for Kidney Care food. I understand she was only trying to help but I intend on returning the cat food having researched it online a bit.

The groomers are absolutely horrible and disgusting treat customers fur babies any kind of way don’t respect the request of the owners rude and nasty to our animals we ask for a simple cut our dog is practically bald due to inexperience groomers that should’ve been hired to take out the trash because the grooming job they did is disgusting for $100 and to top all this off I showed a picture of what we wanted we received the wish version of what we requested it was so simply a 2 year old would’ve done a better job they are not experienced enough to work with dogs

First time taking my puppy to get groomed here and last. Picked her up and her haircut was way shorter than what we agreed on. Also, they say they cleaned her ears but her ears are just as dirty as when I dropped her off. Will not be coming back.

We cant say enough good things about the wonderful work that these people do at this Petco. This store offers a DIVERSE customer service team, but most importantly, the Groomers are excellent!We’ve been to many goomers as well as Petco stores far and wide, (no worries PLANO store, we wont be coming back. picked up an online order of MEDICINE, all bad ☹️)…..but. Las Colinas Plaza Petco is hidden gem. And while we dont do many reviews, hey, we gotta give credit where credit is due.***YES TO THE LAS COLINAS PLAZA STORE IN IRVING, TX!!!!!!*****The groomers are polite and WELL TRAINED. Our fur baby, a Staffy, can be “moody” sometimes not so kindly to strangers especially when getting her nails done, watching from the window… the girls never skipped a beat. Superb professionalism . They always get the job done, with NO FEAR!Also, the store is SUPER clean and well stocked the aquarium is full of healthy fish and has a wide variety of products. oh and take a second to check out the clearance rack, lots a goodie’s for a great priceOh and for the record …Im not an influencer or affiliated with Petco in any way I just appreciate great Customer Service service.….. did i mention the customer service is phenomenal!#petcolascolins is family friendly, fur baby. We highly recommend Petco, Las Colina store. Best yet.

Want to shout-out the Petco grooming salon -- we brought our foster puppy in on a busy Saturday to get a bath, and they were the kindest, most helpful people. Not only did our puppy get clean, but they took extra time to make sure that it wasn't scary for him, while still getting us out on time. He wouldn't stop licking the groomers -- he loved them! Thank y'all so much.
