It was ok. My biggest issue is they did not devein the shrimp and the waitress completely forgot my husband's salad but she took accountability, which is rare these days. Their blackened spice is pretty good, it's not hot and it is flavorful. I hate when cooks put so much cayenne or hot spices on blackened foods, it takes away actual flavor and Blackbeards Too did not do that. You can actually taste flavor (I asked for extra on the side and added more to my fish)The grilled zucchini was surprising as it was sliced long ways but it was grilled just right. I just feel like they could have chosen a nicer spot, it looks like it was a small retail store converted into a small restaurant. It just has a cheap feel and for Blackbeards being so popular in Corpus, I assumed it would be bigger and on the main road. The pricing is ok for some items and high for others. We ordered the shrimp and fish dinner. The fish is Swai (which I've never had before) but it was not a nice white flaky fish that I was hoping for, it was more like a cheap tilapia. It was not worth $20 but I guess you pay for the atmosphere. But now I know I will never order Swai fish again, it just isn't worth it.The fried shrimp is butterflied and the breading was light and a little crunchy, which was so good but realizing they don't take the few seconds to devein shrimp, ruined the experience and it plays part in the noticeable shortcuts, like sticky tables, servers sitting around, staff playing around too much. The restaurant has a lot of potential, it has a good name as Blackbeards has a good reputation and this was just not the experience I expected. 1st step would be stop serving one of the cheapest fish avail and spend a little more on a better fish for your house plates. There are articles that mention how swai is not really good to eat, especially due to the farming conditions of Swai. Ask for a different type of fish. Sorry guys. 😞 Next time, if I come back I'll make sure to order Mahi or another fish.

It’s a hidden gem in a small town. The atmosphere is like no other restaurant. Very exquisite food quality and portions, for excellent affordable prices! Come out and have a nice time catching the happy hours, enjoy live music Thursdays- Sunday. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. The staff is impeccable and take care of you like family here. No reason not to bring your family and tell all your friends about it ! I’m confident as can be with everything being said.

The red snapper was DELICIOUS and very worth it! The service was fast and friendly also. The decor was cool to look at and there is also an option to sit outside on patio chairs with an umbrella. If we ever come back to this town we will definitely stop back by!

We waited for food around 40 minutes, portions were really small for this price, drive through people who arrived like 20 minutes after we ordered got food quicker 😒 The food itself is mediocre at best. Not salty enough for me. Loved the calamari and sauces though.

Friend and I came for lunch. Prices, food and service were great. I highly recommend the seafood queso & chips starter. Shrimp Po Boy was good. Baja tacos were amazing.

Wow, had the Seafood Queso Burger and was not disappointed. Ordained with an excellent array of jumbo onion rings, I was delighted to find the burger had an excellent combination of seafood and beef that rested atop a unique bun capable of sturdily holding the incredible combination. 10/10 would eat again.

Blackbeard’s too is a fantastic little find with a great lunch menu, and Mina rev was absolutely the most incredible server in the history of the universe. Which makes for the perfect combination. The Shrimp tacos looked so good I forgot to take a photo ( and there were just that .. delicious) Great casual place for a quick lunch meeting. 5Stars ***** for the great service and energy.

I would probably give this place a 3.5 Stars if I could. Food was good, atmosphere was nice, price good, service was a little weak. We had a group of about 8 or 9 and had waitress dedicated to our table because it was not real busy ... but had to request her presence a few times and/or wave her down.There were a variety of burgers ordered that all turned out well ... but the item that got the most praise at the table were the fries. They were really good.

Came for lunch. We each had the shrimp and fish. My husband got the snapper and shrimp grilled and I got the mahi mahi and shrimp blackened. It was good and the service was better! Montell was our server and his customer service was excellent! Food came out quickly and we never felt rushed.

Four of us decided to go to Blackbeard’s Too (2753 W Main, Ingleside) on Sunday as we hadn’t been for a couple of months! Our Server, Montell, was such a delight, not only extremely attentive, well-mannered, but had the most engaging personality, joking around with him sure added to our experience!Entrées were: Catfish Platter (2), 4oz Chicken Special, Handmade Crab Cakes, all with 2 sides...can’t forget their Bloody Mary’s 😋 Ample Quantity and no complaints on flavor! BB Too adhered to Pandemic-policy.. tables social distanced, all Staff had on masks, paper menus, etc! Couldn’t have been more pleased w/Service, Food, Price!

Met up with friends at Blackbeard’s because it was the halfway point for us all.Glad we did.We all ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. There was quite a bit of breading, but it was crispy and well seasoned. I did like it. The side salad came in a large soup bowl. It was ok. Margarita was a little too sweet but drinkable.A gentleman with a guitar set up for a one man show live entertainment. He added to the festive atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out quickly and hot.I would return if the opportunity comes.

Wait staff was absolutely amazing! I ordered an old fashion and it was made right and was delicious! I had the cakun chicken, beans and fries and it was all extremely tasteful!! I highly recommend this place for anyone!!!

As we look for open places during this " pandemic " my craving of the day brought me to this little place , dont let the size or the limited seating fool youThe flavors coming from the grill will have you feeling you are right on the beach listening to Jimmy Buffett songs and the 🦐🦀🦑 tastes better than that chain of seafood restaurants from that guy who ran accross the country and was from Greenbow Alabama, yeah you know what chain im talking aboutSo do yaself a favor and give them a try , ask for Kaitlin and let this enthusiastic server offer ya their best

Stopped by here after a day at beach in Corpus Christi. It did not disappoint!! Kids loved the Alfredo, the sausage links were amazing with vegetables sautéed perfect. Above all the husband had the black beard tacos and he said they were the best fish and shrimp tacos he had ever had!!! Forgot to mention our waitress, she recommended the perfect food and she brought a big glass of water for our dog since we were sitting outside.
