Friendly, local, real fishing town. They always have bait of some kind when Port A, is sold out. You can pull right up by boat and load live wells. Good baits, yield Great Fish.

Stopped by confirmed they had live shrimp, was told cash only. No big deal came back 30 mins later and we’re told the owners said not to sell anymore live shrimp! Thanks for wasting my time and diesel!And now that the owner has responded clearly not very up with the times. A local guide in Google is someone who reviews a lot, not a local fishing guide. It wouldn’t hurt to put a note on your google maps page stating cash only, and when we told the guy running the bait stand we would be back to get a quart of live you could have honored that. 1st come 1st serve the boat captain (who we were told by your employee was a friend of yours) wasn’t there to get their bait. We were, with cash ready to get some shrimp and go fishing.

Great live bait, or shrimp for dinner if you'd like. She really knows bait! We bought croakers and shrimp and I caught a few fish on a nearby dock that night with the shrimp. The best local bait shop that was recommended to me a couple years ago by a local and the only place I get bait when I'm in the area.

I live locally and spend a lot of time on the water fishing, as the seasons change I fish a lot of different spots in the area and can never count on any bait shop other thanks Ann’s to have exactly what I’m looking for. Hands down no contest when it comes to competing with any other shop from Rockport to Flower Bluff, Ann’s two locations both always have exactly what I’m looking for that day, from live shrimp, to crab and everything in between. She always has it when nobody else does and for the most part, cheaper. Not to mention how personal she is, remembers your name and is always a delight, even at those super early morning hours. If your fishing Rockport, Ingleside, Aransas Pass and don’t know Ann, your not really on the fish as good as you could be.

If you are asking about the Anne's Bait Shop in Ingleside on the Bay I highly recommend this bait shop.If you are asking about Anne's Bait Shop in Rockport, TX I also highly recommend this bait shop. Both bait shops are owned by the same Anne.*** I would also like to point out that my wife (Debra) grew up in Aransas Pass, TX. Her step dad was a respected shrimp boat captain. I joined Debbie in January 01, 2014. We have owned 2 houses in Ingleside, TX up to this point. We're getting ready to close on our 3rd house in Palaicos, TX.*** Please read my next comment. There is another bait house called "Captain Kadys". I advise boycotting Captain Kadys". She saves all of her good bait for some of the fishing guides. She's not even polite about it. Captain Kadys is on the same stretch of road the other bait shops are on. You can't miss it. It is the largest bait shop along that stretch as the other bait shops in Rockport, TX. The color of her building is a aqua blue.

This lady let's us fish off her pier she is nice and gave me free bait when people were leaving. And I caught an eel and tons of catfish and a dog fish there, well my girl did but I was ther😁

I have been there a few times, she is always open on time and bait has been excellent. Don't waste your time with other shops that seem to open only when they feel like it, this business is professional and worth the drive.
