So we have been coming to this DQ for several years now, since it is the closest to our home. We are never disappointed with the food and with the service. I ordered a belt buster and I had barely sat down when my food was brought to me. The meat was barely warm as was the bun and the cheese was just sitting on it. It had obviously been cooked at dinner time and was just left so it could be used up. I was there around 2 pm, but I won't be back.Parking: The parking lot in front of the store had a hole that was close to a foot deep.

I've been to the Idalou Dairy Queen twice this week. Both times I ordered a crispy chicken salad with NO tomatoes. Which I told them, numerous times, because I'm highly allergic to tomatoes. BOTH time they put extra tomatoes. Thanks for trying to kill me. Thanks for giving me food that I paid for, that I couldn't eat. Thanks for never answering the phone. I pray that nasty location gets shut down.Also, the parking lot is going to take a bumper off someone's vehicle one of these days.

I love the fries here. The burgers are either awesome or meh. My last burger had odd seasoning areas, one bite was unseasonably, the next two salty, and then mix from there.The employees will be nice, but it seems they do not really want to be there.It is not in the best location.

Food was fine, service not so great. Not really paying attention to walk in customers. I ordered a medium fry separately as a part of my order and they didnt add it to my bill. When I went to get it, they said I never ordered it. Then, when they did finally take that order, it sat in the bag by the fryer for at least 5 minutes. I had to ask for it.

The new manager has been a blessing and has turned this place around. Once it was nasty inside the store and the service was poor but there has been great improvement!The staff are now great and the store is clean.The food has improved greatly. They no longer serve cold food anymore! The bathroom door will now close and there is no more bees or wasps around the windows and tables. Things are kept clean now. This store did have a bad reputation but I hope others will return and try it out. The old staff tried to make a good restaurant but did not have the leadership. It now has the proper manager. She is nice and cares about the place and customers. Vannessa please continue your great work!We have our Dairy Queen back!

The flavors are outstanding. However, the restaurant needs to work on their portions. I ordered a large hot fudge sundae, and it came in a paper cup. I will never order another one here again. Go to the grocery store and buy your own ice cream, frozen yogurt, toppings, bananas, cones cherries, and have a field day!! This place is overpriced. The food made me sick years ago. I will return for a quick blizzard in the summer.

I can’t honestly recommend this location. Tried them a few months back and it took forever just to get a couple dipped cones. Today it’s 11am and they claim to be open at 10am. One car in front and nobody working the drive through. As I pull on through I can’t see a single employee anywhere inside. Fortunately there’s a sonic just down the road.

Why even have a drive thru if nobody is working the drive thru. I'm waiting 15 minutes here waiting for someone to say "welcome to dairy queen may I take your order". This is a joke. Just shut down the store if you can't run it.

Manager was absolutely RUDE tonight. Wouldn't let us order without rudely interrupting when trying to tell her our order. Get to the window and I asked the girl (she wasn't the one who took our order) to repeat it because she wouldn't let us order and guess what half the order was missing. She called the manager, manager fixed the order and even repeated everything back. Order comes out and only 2 burger and 2 fries. She went back in and got the rest of the order. Get home, both burgers were wrong. I'm not sure what's so hard about 2 burgers with cheese and mayo only. Last time I went and got food, got it back home to see that the hamburger patties were cold and dry (black). Just because you close at 10 and get busy 20 minutes before does not mean to purposely mess up orders and be rude to customers.

went in there once for a bite. food wasn't bad so I went back and ordered an ice cream. the kid took my money and gave me a receipt with a number. waited about 30 min so I went to counter and asked. the ice cream machine was broke. so I asked for my money back. the manager refused to do that. so we argued till she threatened to call the cops. I was robbed by the manager of this place. beware of this scammer.

I thought the 1 person working on May 30, 2019 @ 11 a.m. was very nice. Had our food inside of 6 min. (2 country basket meals & 2 burger meals). The food was great… nice & hot! May have been 2 people. I saw 1.ps. Don't go across (caddy corner north side east of D.Q.) the street to the feed store. They are racists that didn't want our INDIGENOUS MEXICAN AMERICAN money.THIS, DESPITE US BEING MORE AMERICAN THAN THEY COULD EVER BE!

As a senior citizen I was not treated well at all with my last meal. It came out cold. The meat of the burger and fries were at room temperature and I was afraid to eat it this way. The store manager was very rude and refused to reheat it or offer any changes to it. I did not ask for my money back and tried to be polite with her even though she was not polite. I do not understand her reaction and if she just said she was sorry about it that would of been all I wanted. I fear others may become sick eating here. Especially children. Many dead flies on the floor and windows since they leave the door open. As a christian I wish her well and I ask God's blessing on her and the staff because I know they need their jobs. On the positive side there are good people that work here that are friendly and do care. Lets change this into a Dairy Queen we can be proud to have in Idalou! I want to write a good review about this store very soon!One last thought. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and died for your sins. Have you accepted him as your Savior? Many blessings to you all. 😃

As always the ice cream was great. Their customer service and overall cleanliness is very much lacking. The girls in the kitchen were not wearing hair nets at all, their hair was long and hanging all over the place, I was in the drive-thru so I was able to see straight into the kitchen. The girl Felicia was not friendly or very bright. She took my order, repeated it and then i pulled up, waited for about 10 mins before it was my turn at the window, then she came up all like... what did you order again, i forgot... then it took at least 12 -15 more minutes for the 4 blizzards I ordered. She also though I was capable of just going home with 4 blizzards and no carrier. Once I asked for the carrier her attitude just got worse. It may have been that she smoked too much weed before work and couldn't comprehend that I cannot drive and carry 4 blizzards... idk BUT F. THIS PLACE. I live closer to Idalou than Lubbock and i will take the drive to Lubbock, at least they are competent.
