Our local friend suggest this place to us and it’s really worth a visit. They produce really good bourbon whiskey. Something you won’t expect to find here. The distillery itself is a dream place to visit. Such expanse of land with beautiful landscape. Even for none whiskey drinker will find something fun to do.

Enjoyed. They closed early but we got to experience and would return. Shop had interesting things going on but we didn’t make it in before closing. Live music. Tons of seating for relaxing while sipping that is right up against a cow pasture so sights for everyone. Frozen DP with bourbon was wife’s selection and she liked.

We visited on Saturday and had a great time! Friendly people that are informative. My husband finally got a barrel so he is over the moon. 🤣 Good bourbon, good people, and a very relaxing time.

We had a great time on the bourbon tasting tour at Garrison Brothers. It was a bit chilly for the trailer ride up to the distillery but they provided blankets. Nice touch! We got to sample the bourbon through the various stages during the tour and the final product at the end. Yummy!

Our group of 10 had the lovely pleasure of touring the distillery with Amy and Sandra and they were an absolute blast! So knowledgeable and passionate about the craft, you feel it during the entire tour. The Bourbon is as special as the people who still it and boy is it good. 10/10 would recommend anyone take the trip to this beautiful place. Will absolutely be back!

My wife set up weekend trip to the hill country for my birthday and a tour of the distillery was on the agenda. I loved it. We will definitely come back because it was a great time. We even signed up to volunteer at the distillery. Let’s hope that works out. 🤞

We went on a tour and tasting and had a wonderful experience! All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The volunteers doing the bottling were a hoot! The snacks and cocktails were great too! Fun outing with adult children and will be back!

Such a great stop at Garrison Brothers Distillery!! I've made two trips to this location. This time we chose to do the tour, so fun! So much information. Great amount of facts about bourbon and how Garrison Brothers got started. If you're in West Texas, this is a don't miss stop!! Our tour guides Billy and Sandra were the best!!!

If you want to have a great time, make the trip out to Garrison Brothers Distillery. These folks made my family feel welcome from the time we drove into the gate until the time we left. We have not stopped talking about how much fun we had yesterday. We started at the Whiskey Shack, and the samples helped us make selections in the gift shop. I am a veteran, and the discount that they gave me was greatly appreciated. Of course we went back to the Whiskey Shack for lunch, and a flight of Whiskey to make sure we did not miss anything. Thanks for a great time, and I will be back!!

Absolutely love this place. It's such a pretty and peaceful setting with great options for food and drinks. The Garrison Brothers tasting flight is the way to go if you're not familiar with what they offer - it's all soooo good. It's dog friendly as well.

This is a nice distillery in a great location in the Hill Country of Texas. Stopped here and had a flight of whiskey. I really liked 2 of the 4 in the flight.

The most friendly and laid back crew. Mushroom Bourbon burger was out of this world and so were the tacos. Came home with great merch. The frozen Dr. Pepper with your Bourbon was soooooo good. Didn't have time for a tour but next time!!!!

Did the Distillery tour with my cousin - Amy and Mike were our hosts - they were so knowledgeable and fun. Haven’t been on such an “involved” alcohol tour in a long time, it was refreshing, informative, and fun. Beautiful property, great food, and delicious Texas bourbon. 10/10 would recommend.

Gorgeous drive out there and the property itself is beautiful. We did a tour, and it was excellent! The tour went over the history of the distillery, explained the bourbon process, and talked about what makes their bourbon unique. Charlie and Jimmy were our tour guides. They were entertaining and had a wealth of knowledge on bourbon. They made the tour fun and were extremely helpful. We walked away with new a appreciation for bourbon.Also to mention, we did the tour with our young son, and everyone at the distillery welcomed him and made him feel special; it was family friendly, something we very much appreciated. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The property is 5 stars, everyone we encountered at the distillery is 5 stars, and the bourbon is 5 stars.

What a fantastic little gem of a distillery hidden in the country roads of Texas. The location is laid out perfectly and makes for quite the experience while spending time drinking some delicious beverages as the birds are singing around you! The bathrooms are really fun and have windows where I was able to catch a glimpse of a hummingbird! The bourbon is delicious, especially when made into an old fashioned! The staff are incredible and very informative! Loved visiting here!

Met Dan Garrison at the Texas Restaurant Show. He was so friendly and personable that we had to go for a tour. Everyone at the ranch was kind, helpful, and funny, especially our tour guide Kip and his helper Justin. Not to mention the amazing bourbon!

Awesome day at Garrison brothers, arrived for our tour early, and had some food, gastropub style with a cocktail. They had hot toddy's to keep everyone warm. Went on the tour with Amy she was awesome, I was wondering how the hour would be broken up and it was fun, interactive, and kept us moving. Very interesting mix of education, laid back hospitality, and friendly staff. Headed back and did a flight tasting. Big thanks to Kyle & Mary Katherine. Was lucky enough the check this place out on a girls trip to Fredericksburg. It was off the beaten path of all the wineries which made it unique and not so crazy busy - its roughly about 30 mins from Fredericksburg. We were immediately greeted by Pint-Sized Patti and she was delightful. She gave us a lay of the land, letting us know that wine and soda were available, but the true show was in the bourbon bar area. Some picnic and high top style tables, there were an ample number of places to sit. You can also hang out under the trees in lawn chairs, on rocking chairs on porches, and other tables scattered throughout the property. The music was old to 90s country, so it was fun to listen to songs you hadn't heard in a long time or grew up on. It was lunch time so we got several small plates to share off their specialty menu of the day. They also had an extensive regular menu. The balls and sausage were amazing! (it WAS a girls weekend, after all! ;-) And obviously we all HAD to try a few of the drinks. The Ranch Water was stout (!), but the frozen peach tea and Dr. Pepper were ones were ordered again and again. You could taste the bourbon and it was smoooooth. Beyond Pint-Size Patti, the rest of the service team was stellar. We rarely had to get out of our seat if we needed something. We ended up buying cards in the gift shop, thanks to a tip from Ms.Patti, and ended up hanging out most of the afternoon. We could have hung out longer as a live band was starting to play but we had dinner reservations. We all discussed coming again with our significant others and making a day visit out of it. Honestly, the best time we'd had in a while!

Garrison Brothers in Hye, TX just outside Johnson City was a great place to hangout and tour the distillery. I’d recommend booking early as the tours fill up quickly. Shoutout to MK for hooking me up!! We were in luck because Mr. Garrison was with our group for some of the tour so we got to hear the inside scoop like the story behind his steel bull at the entrance. Even if you aren’t a bourbon drinker, it’s still cool to see the process. Plus, it is the first bourbon produced outside Kentucky.

We love the Garrison Experience which keeps getting better. They have yummy cocktails and a story driven tour which is both entertaining and informative. I hope to come back next year and get to experience their new barrel barn. And of course I left with a bottle of single barrel!

My wife and I visited Garrison Brothers in January for a tour which we had all my our selves. Our guide was the most knowledgeable about bourbon that we've see in touring dozens of distilleries. He also told the story of Garrison brothers and I won't spoil it for you! So we had a wonderful time. Dropped some $$ in the gift shop. Then went home and we both went on the GB site and registered to volunteer for the "all volunteer bottling team." You see all bourbon bottled at GB is done by volunteers. Sure enough in mid-February we got an invite and we went back to GB on April 1 & 2 and had the time of our lives. If you love great bourbon you have to volunteer for this bucket list experience. You'll love it and make a bunch of friends from around the country in the process!

Was just there last week with a bunch of good friends and Amy and Sandra gave us a great Tour. It is a very well put together tour and with the knowledge they had it made it a must see. I would definitely go back and would love to volunteer if i could get lucky enough to be chosen. Needless to say the Bourbon is amazing! Save room to take some home!
